"Great Location, excellent staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Stayed here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a better place for the money. The staff was extremely helpful with speedy check in/out. Concierge staff was on their A game the entire time. Room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. The bar was nice but a bit expensive ( but that's London). Vauxhall tube station is only a five minute walk which isn't bad at all. There is a grocery store next door that has about everything you need. Was a great stay.

Famous for its hotels, Mayfair holds London's most expensive homes and, on Bond Street, its most expensive shops. But the tucked-away pubs, restaurants, and shops of atmospheric Shepherd Market offer affordable local colour, too. Sandwiched between several main roads, Marylebone has a village atmosphere and a charming High Street. Nearby attractions include Madame Tussaud's and the Georgian splendours of Regent's Park, including London Zoo.

The qualiTy of the food was not commensurate to the outrageous prices charged. We ate much better at Claridge's Hotel three blocks away at more reasonable prices. In addition beware that all rooms have duvets instead of normal blankets, which made it very hard for us to sleep. The duvets are ideal for extreme cold conditions. In Brown's the duvets were […] a source of intense heat that made sleep impossible. When we checked out they informed us that many people complained about them, yet the staff made no effort to replace them with lighter blankets. Read more
Read more
