Very nice room for the price we paid. Room was spacious and kitchennette is a plus! Close to all major places that we wanted to go: 5th avenue, Juarez avenue, Walmart, ADO station, colectivo station, good restaurants. Had a great time!

This family-friendly resort is on the southwest coast of Cozumel on 130 meters of white-sand beach. Paradise Beach is 1.7 kilometers away, and Playa San Francisco is 2.3 kilometers away.

The activity schedule at Allegro Cozumel All Inclusive also includes non-motorized water sports such as windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing. A Kids' Club keeps children 4–12 busy and making new friends. Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy four illuminated hard-surface courts and tennis clinics to improve technique. The Palancar Reef, well-known among divers, is five minutes away by boat. For surcharges, dive courses, certification, and tours can be arranged by the certified staff at the on-site dive center.
Besides diving, the Cozumel area is popular for fishing and boating, and horse riding. Hotel staff can help arrange excursions.

"Allegro Cozumel - BEWARE of the beach thieves"
Nice hotel, beautiful beach and clear water. Decent food and fun beach entertainment team. We had a great trip which was spoilt at the end when somebody stole our beach bag off the beach chairs and our snorkel gear bag from behind us in the jacuzzi. Great place, just keep a sharp eye out for your belongings as there are thieves in paradise!!!!
"Allegro Cozumel"
If you have children over the age of 8 or are adults looking for a peaceful calm beautiful beach vacation....DO NOT BOOK HERE! Family Friendly translates to toddlers running around the dining rooms, parents having naked babies "go potty" on the beach (yes #2!) and hearing MOMMY screamed about ever minute from some little youngerster. The rooms are huts […] so sound travels and screaming babies could be heard throughout the night and as dawn breaks. Our "family" consisted of our 13 year old daughter, my husband and I and my parents in their early 70's, this was not a pleasing environment for us to enjoy. We could not have a conversation at meals as the screams and tantrums from the babies and small kids at the many tables made it impossible. The property is on a beautiful beach. We had electrical outages that lasted between 2 hours and 1/2 a day, plumbing problems where the smell of sulfar was pungent and even the water in the shower smelled bad. They worked on the sewer system every day but never got the smell out of the air. Worse vacation trip ever!!!! If you have a baby or toddler and want to go on vacation, this seems to be the resort to stay at. If you are interested in a calm and peaceful vacation to enjoy, this is not the place to be. I will never choose another hotel that lists "family friendly", ever again. Read more

"Stay somewhere else"
We chose this hotel as our seond stop on our wedding-honeymoon as we had never stayed at an all inclusive and couldn't beat the price. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. We felt like we were stuck on a bad cruise ship and the best part was leaving the resort for scuba diving, going downtown, and our moped tour of the island. The rooms are nice, […] but don't keep out the loud music they blast throughout the resort 14 hours a day. There doesn't appear to be any quite areas except at the extreme ends of beach. The drinks are free, but not very good. The cheap booze does more hurt than good. I would recommend paying more to stay at a nicer all inclusive or stay at a non all inclusive and hit one of the all inclusvie beach clubs down the beach. Read more

"second time at the Allegro and ill be back"
This was my second trip to the Allegro. I like it, some of the staff remembered me from 2 years ago. great location for diving, perfect beach. The food is not 5 star but it is good and i didnt pay for a 5 star meal. Considering the price, the room, facilities,food and staff the Allegro is hard to beat. if you want to stay at a nice place, great staff, […] and good food this is it. When i read these reviews i allways try to consider the writer, if i paid $ 50.00 i expect $50.00 worth, some of the reviewers paid $ 50.00 and expect $200.00, the point is some people are just never happy regardless of the quality of the product. "Good place for kids"
The Allegro is a good place to stay if you have kids. There are plenty of activities for them to participate in. The food and drinks are so so. The staff was very nice. Dont stay here if you want a quiet romantic get away.

Do not expect anything... This hotel is no more than a 2stars hotel. the food is not too bad but they don't have enough for all the guests. Room : clean but if you get the upper level ; be prepare to hear everything even your neighbor's fart !! Divers : good service, good spot but VERY VERY very very expensive beach : excellent Kids : not much of activities […] but the settings (playground and water slides) are just AMAZING Animation : ??? not much (they are 4 !) Je recommande cette hotel toutefois il faut savoir que chaque déplacement de l ' hotel vous coutera entre 15 et 30 dollars( se renseigner du prix de la course avant ).Il n y a ni bus ni navette pour aller en ville ou n importe ou ailleurs. Des tours sont organisés mais c 'est cher vous pouvez louer des mobylettes voitures ou jeep pour faire le tour […] vous même de l 'ile. "Vacaciones en familia y amigos"
Tipico hotel de playa , con una excelente playa , el hotel es austero y la comida es reiterativa , pero todo se compensa con la atencion del personal que en todo momento trata de que uno se sienta como en su casa. Ademas de la linda playa, el hotel tiene un pequeno parque de agua, el cual los chicos disfrutaron mucho.

"Un all inclusive que nos costó muy barato"
La experiencia fue positiva. Queríamos pasar 2 días en cozumel, y la elección del allegro fue acertada porque encontramos una oferta muy barata. Me gustó poder hacer windsurf y catamaran. También la playa. La habitación es sencilla pero adecuada. Donde se podría mejorar un poco es en la comida. El resumen es positivo
"Allegro Hotel Cozumel"
Beautiful all comfort hotel, ideal location 10 min drive from San Miguel. 4 swiming pools, beautiful garden, beautiful sea. lots of facilities, very nice for the children with facilities to play. BUT rooms are very very noisy as there is no phonic separation (traditional straw roof makes tha the noise goes from one room to the other)
