It was a nice hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very comfotable. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful setting and great beach. Service was slow and sometimes non-exsistent. Food very expensive and not very tasty. Beach towels hard to come by and staff was very pleasant but clueless.

Pros: Food is delicious but expensive even by the expensive standards of outside restaurants. Still you have to get the veggie wrap and any flavor of ice cream (yes, try the nutmeg flavor). As soon as you enter the premises of the hotel, you are taken aback by the beautiful land scaping and cleanliness of the place. At the check-inn counter you are served a refreshing fruit punch. Beautiful open resort with many amenities. We went during "off season" and some of the facilities were not fully open/functional. All of the staff was very nice and accommodating, although some of the security guards were kind of sketchy toward younger, single guests! Had awesome beach and great weather.

Beautiful grounds. Awesome beach. Can't beach the location. Great Tour center on site INSIGHT GRENADA. Hotel service not good at all. Don't have enough staffing to take care of guest. Very Limited food options. Don't have map of property, or advertise tour center, no gift shop, although ayou can walk to shopping center about a mile. Can rent a car at […] that shopping cener. Very nice hotel on Grenada. Incredible beds and nice soft clean white bedding. Good food. My only complaint would be location of room considering there were many unoccupied rooms in much better spots. We called our room location the 'Expedia wing'.

The Grenada Grand was a nice place to introduce us to the island. I loved the location. The staff was very nice, prompt with requests, and helpful. My daughter lives there now for school, so she warned me about "island time" - so I did not expect things to go quickly with service at the bar or restaurant. Lovely hotel, beachfront and very easy going. The beachfront rooms were very spacious and lovely - it you can afford it, opt for the beachfront versus the standard room as the bathrooms were quite cramped. The pool and wading pools were lovely and the Bamboo Bar was a great place to kick back and relax and enjoy the breeze.

My husband and I stayed at the GGBR for one night recently. The grounds themselves, are beautiful and well kept. The pools, and the hotel itself, was very clean. The few issues we had may not be important so some, but to us, they were very important. There are no refrigerators in the rooms. When we went to get the ice in the marked areas for the ice […] machines, there were no machines. The front desk told us they would call us back to tell us where we could get ice. They never called. We were trying to have a cocktail at sunset. There are coffee/tea making services in the rooms, however there are no coffee filters. The Coffeemate supplied was so old, it looked like a stick of gum. There were no robes supplied, like stated. The views from our room were beautiful and the beach is very clean. Overall, depending on what type of services you are looking for, this is a nice hotel. Menu: very limited, and expensive Service: Main restaurant, very nice people Service: Pool bars and stations, personnel dont care at all about you, they just ignore you, […] keep talking with their colleagues like if they were on a school break and it takes a lot of time to get your food order. we paid for one kig bed in the room, upon check-in they mixed up our dates and ended up giving us a two double beds in the furthest oldest block of the hotel. the room had THICK piles of dust and the floor was visibly dirty. we told them that was unacceptable and needed to move us, about 2hrs after they moved us to another room downstairs where we were, […] it was the same as the first one but with a king bed. we again told them they need to move us, they said they didnt have anything, so we had to pay to upgrage our room like about 5 hours into the day after we checked in. however, the upgraded room we paid for was on the beach front and was very clean. i cant understand why the other rooms were just not cleaned, possibly in like about 3 weeks. never the less this new room was very satisfactory and the rest of the hotel was clean, beautiful, well kept and the pool was amazing!!! the hotel is in a great location right on the beach, lots of security patroling. one other thing i did not like was the fact that nowhere on the hotel grounds we could get a snack, not at the bars, not at the restaurant, no potato chips, no nothing, one of the bard had one cookie that was horrible. breakfast was a rip-off at 45US a couple. after that we bought food on the beach which was very tasty and nice. other than that the hotel is lovely! i loved it. We booked this hotel for New year's Eve on Dec-2011. Access to the beach and the view are great, our kids enjoyed the easy access to the beautiful Grand Anse Beach. My Husband and I stay in Grenada a few times a year as we transit to and from other islands in the Grenadine chain and we always choose the Grenada Grand Beach for our short stays and find it suites our needs perfectly. Though not a 5-star hotel, the rack rooms are quiet and very clean, with some having been very recently updated. At rack rate prices, […] all rooms have comfy beds, decent quality sheets and towels, fluffy duvets on the beds as well as (usually) quality toiletries (last time Crabtree & Evelyn) and wireless internet access. With pride of place, from the front desk to the bartenders, the staff care about your comfort, try to please and seem always ready to make an extra effort if asked. Another plus is the Grenada Grand's location: central and convenient to shopping and good restaurants on the beach (example: Umbrellas), the Grand has two wonderful pools, fronts on Grand Anse Beach for a quick swim AND has a lovely little outdoor bar at which to catch a quick nightcap. One final note, the abundant grounds and gardens of the Grenada Grand are beautifully designed and, were they not located within a hotel, might be mistaken for a exemplary tropical botanical garden. It is a true pleasure to walk through the gardens or simply sit out on the terrace or balcony, take in the view, listen to the sea and wonder why you would ever leave Grenada, . Read more
