It was a value stay, no more than that, be clear this" Inn" is a Motel with a pool with walls all around and a jacuzzi that fits four people, the beds are hard and the carpet in my room had a nasty stain. Tha ice machine did not work, but the people at the front desk were nice.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Our main interest w the boardwalk and The Mystery Spot so this was a good location. Walking distance to the Boardwalk and only a 10 minute drive to the Mystery Spot. Pool and Spa were heated and clean. If you want to overpay for a place you won't even want to walk around bare foot, this is your place. Honestly, this has got to be the dirtiest inn I have ever stayed in. It cost 150.00 for a room that should be charging by the hour. Disgusting!!!

The hotel was pretty good. Room was good. Convenient to walking to the boardwalk. Way toooo noisy at night. Some random kids pounding on our door at 11pm woke us up. They had the wrong room! Other than that it was a pretty good stay. Would come back again.

DON'T stat here! Not expensive, but not worth the money. I don't usually write reviews, but this one was so bad. Rooms are TINY. Light bulbs were out. Old and dingy. Hotel upkeep is poor. Pool and hot tub were less than clean. Pool is NOT indoors as they clame. Pool temp ok but hot tub not hot enough. They provide a continental breakfast but you have […] to pick it up in their tiny loby and there is nowhere indoors to sit down and eat. You can take your breakfast and eat it next to the pool which is not indoors and cold or you can take it to your room and eat on your bed. Staff is never at front desk you always have to call them out of the back room where they are watching TV. Not a good choice. Read more

I boked this hotel because of the indoor pool and spa. There were 4 in our party and we like to swim and gather in the hot tub to chat at the end of the day. The hot tub was definately not hot! the temperature was not even as warm as my bath. It looked really old from the inside. The pictures on the website make it look really amazing and fancy...which it is not. Their was one gentleman who seemed to be in charge that was very nice and wanted to ensure we had breakfast before we checked out. The hotel was not worth the cost we paid.

I was a little skeptical about staying here after reading some of the other reviews. I am glad that my girlfriend & I stayed here. I've been coming to Santa Cruz since I was a little boy so I knew what to expect regarding the neighborhood. The surrounding area was a little sketchy but we were never bothered & my car was safe. The owner was super friendly […] & the homemade bread was wonderful. I had my hands bringing some OJ back to our room but the owner helped me bring it in one trip. There were two things worth mentioning. There was an odor of chlorine coming from the restroom area & the hook to the curtains was rigged up. The good outweighed the bad. The hotel is not bad. The neighborhood is one of the worst in Santa Cruz. but I knew that before choosing it. I was visiting my son who lives in town, and I was lugging a bunch of expensive sound equipment from a concert we did earlier that evening. We came in about 11 pm and not only did the manager let me keep the expensive equipment in the room, […] but he also allowed me to keep the van in a convenient spot not normally open to parking a vehicle,so I could keep an eye on it from the room. I came with my boyfriend and our dog. The staff was very friendly, they gave us directions to a nearby dog friendly restaurant and dog friendly beaches which were very difficult to come by in Santa Cruz. The room was a little dirty- there was a stain on the carpet and the towels had a musty smell but because we were only there for one night it was not […] significant enough to ask for a room change, and they allow dogs so you can only expect so much. Hotel is in bad neighborhood, the room was dirty with stained blankets. Tub was dirty and the carpet so stained my sons and I would not walk on it with no shoes. Overall, we couldn't wait to get out of there; it was just gross to say the least.

This hotel reminded me of staying in a hotel in Mexico. We used the hot tub at night but it never was more than luke warm. The pool is not exposed to the elements so if it is cool at night you really feel it.

I loved this hotel because it is Spanish influenced, inside and outside, which makes it very unique. I only wish the influence extended to the rooms themselves. The pool was heated, which was nice because it is enclosed, but not INSIDE,so there was definitely a cross-breeze. We had to pay $20 more for another person, a 6 yr old boy. There weren't nough shower towels for all of us. The jacuzzi had a red tint on the bubbles...very disgusting. The pool is not indoor. We I'll not be coming back o this hotel.

This hotel was awesome for the price you pay. The man in the lobby was very kind and helpful. It's a smaller hotel and the location was perfect! Me and my boyfriend brought our bikes and we were able to ride anywhere we needed to go from our hotel. In fact when we were out in the town we saw the man from the lobby and he recognized us and asked how […] we were doing. They made us feel very welcomed. The room itself was a little outdated and could have used a new paint job, but overall it was fine. Nice king sized bed and a large Jacuzzi tub (jets weren't very powerful, but they did work) A good size mini fridge with microwave. AND they maids didnt come at crack of dawn to wake us up to clean the room. They had a very decent continental breakfast. Coffee, juice, pastries, bagels, cereal, bread ect. Only downfall is for someone like me and my boyfriend, we like to sleep in and it gets over at 10am. So you gotta wake up a little early to catch the breakfast. We never made to the pool but it looked nice and clean. Indoor pool with a little hottub also. I believe it closes at either 10 or 11 at night, because when we went to use it it was already locked up.
