While staying at this hotel our car was vandalized right in front of the security guard in broad day light. The hotel manager has yet to contact us about the review of the tapes to identify who did this. Would never go there again and would not recommend to anyone. Too scary!

Went there for a concert in downtown St. Pete and hotel was a 15 min cab ride away.Were able to bring along our 2 small dogs & it was still a bargain for just a roof over your head. Amenities were ok (bathroom door wouldn't shut, old but serviceable small fridge & microwave). Would definitely stay here again to just party & come back to sleep!

I read the other reviews and pretty much got what i expected. The room itself was standard. The frig and microwave were a pleasant surprise. The tub was worn and black on bottom but that's because it was old. I remedied that by going to local shopping center and buying a bathmat. I brought my own linen because i don't trust hotel linen. Security at night was a plus. Made me sleep better. All in all, for a 1-2 stay it was worth the money. I'd stay again on short notice.

I have stayed at the Masters Inn, Fairgrounds, Tampa,FL for the past several years while attending the National Street Rod Association Southwest Nationals. I keep going back, because it is a great lodging value and very convenient. The rooms are quite comfortable, and the staff is excellent! Special kudos to Penny and Cindy!

I recommend this location for anyone making an in and out trip to Tampa for a concert at the Ford Amphitheatre. The hotel is nothing especial and the rooms are ok. We will book at this location next time we go to the Ford Amphitheatre for a concert. The Amphitheatre is just a 3 minute drive away and next to the interstate so it’s ideal for our concert trips. Next to this location are a gas station and a fast food place so it makes things easy for us too.

"I loved having the Security Officer right outside my door."

It was so simple to get to this hotel. It's right off of I-4. Which made it easy for me, and Security was outside my door all night, I felt very safe. The tub was kinda gross,and the plugs in the room didn't work, but overall it wasn't a bad place, especially for the price. I would stay there again if I come to the area.

The room was clean, but very small. No internet, no breakfast, no coffee in the room. All and more would be expected for the price. Other guests were loud, parking was dark. I'll find another spot next time.

The staff at this inn was extremely friendly. We arrived three hours ahead of schedule and were able to check in early as the desk changed our room. Remember, when you book reservations at an inn you are saving on the price at the expence of luxury. This was a small, no frills room that served its purpose for a night to sleep. The hotel has overnight security which I liked. The area is not as bad as people have described in prior reviews. Overall I got what I expected for the price paid.

I have stayed here twice now. For a cheap hotel near the hard rock casino its great. Very close to the casino and very affordable. Not the best place but a decent room and bed for the price.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations for the amount of money I paid. I brought my own bedding thinking it was going to be a really iffy place. But I didn't even need to do that. It was clean and comfortable with good security all night. everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful. I would definately suggest this hotel to anyone who just needs a cheap place to sleep.

It was very clean, it had a nice size refrigerator and microwave, not noisey at all and the cleaning crew was polite and friendly. Also when I first checked in the person at the front to desk was very nice and welcoming. What I do wish they had was wireless internet, which wasn't offered in my non-smoking room but is offered in smoking rooms. Other than that my stay was wonderful!!

Bed hard, not enough pillows, broken microwave turntable and dirty a/c unit the only things to find fault with here! The Handicapped room had all the normal ammenities, tv, frig, micro, a/c, handrails in bathroom and shower and as an extra added benefit the property had a pool and nighttime security (appreciated even more because of the neighborhood)!!

I was concerned about the hotel since it was a lower cost hotel. However I was very happy with the room. At first it did have a strong smell. Then I realized it was bleach that I was smelling and kinda felt good knowing the room was disinfected. For the cost it was exactly what I wanted. The hotel was quiet, I was not distrubed by anyone and was comfortable during my stay. I will stay here again.

For the price is wasn't bad. I expected a more run down place. I took out my black light and the room, including sheets were pretty clean. Good for a small buisness trip. I wouldn't take family to place. Bathtub also needs to be replaced.

My wife and I stayed here as we were attending a concert at the State Fairgrounds (Ford Amphitheater). The location is perfect for that (it's just down the street from the venue). But the hotel, well, let's just say you get what you pay for. It was not a horrible room. But certainly left a a lot to be desired. If I were attending another show with a group of buddies I would stay here again. However, it is not a place I would bring my wife again.

With prices for a bedroom in hotels being what they are today you can pretty much guess given the title I chose tell that I wasn't totally satisfied with my stay. The location was ok for my needs so that was not a problem, the overall condition and cleanliness of the hotel was good too, no complaints there. The negative things about it was that the room stink like an old room, the air conditioning wasn't cooloing the room all that greatly even at the lowest setting and the pillows where so bad that I could have sworn that they where not there. I ended with allergies and a stuffed nose the next morning after sleeping here. It would improve vastly if they did some kind of renovation inside the bedrooms, like carpets and new pillows.
