All we required was a clean place to stay at a reasonable rate. This motel provided just that. We were not promised anything luxurious and that was ok. I would stay there again, especially nice if you are working Convention center. Easy access to all.

The service was very polite (front desk/breakfast lady) but room service literally knocked and barged in the second after. But everything was clean, especially considering how cheap our stay was compared elsewhere! A pleasant stay overall.

We stayed here for basketball game. Shower clogged and never drained . Only stayed overnight so didn't change rooms. Tv remote dead and old tv but not to important . Screaming in pool area late night . Poor breakfast . Staff friendly and walking distance to Staples are only positives.

My second time staying here and the room was very clean and spacious enough for us 3 girls and all the crap we love to bring for the weekend! We stayed at the hotel for two nights and got the worst room ever - 203 or 204 I don't remember exact number. The room walls and door are facing the Blvd on the second floor and there was no sound isolation whatsoever. There was an issue with my room, and I called all four days twice a day to speak with the manager. I left message with every call, and he NEVER contacted me!

We wanted to stay close to the LA Convention Center and not spend too much money. It worked for us. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and we felt safe (which is important). We'd stay here again.

Nice place, went to the Lakers game with my dad March 16 & we stayed here! About a 15 min walk down Olympict to Staples Center..perfect! Don't have to drive..I would stay there again when I go to another game!

Close to Staples and LA Live, but the hotel left a lot to be desired. The police were called twice on another room (4am and again at 7am). The price was about $20-$30 lower than the average...I would recommend spending the additional money for a better quality room and service.

I booked a room at this hotel because I was attending a conference at the convention center and wanted something that was within walking distance (it's a 20 minute walk, a direct route, along a busy street). The surrounding neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges, but as a solo female I felt safe. Although, I probably would not have walked alone […] after dark. There was a wonderful Mexican restaurant across the street. Also within the same block are fast food restaurants and a convenience store. The breakfast only consists of cereal and toast. It was very quiet in the room and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was nothing special.

we booked this hotel because it advertises an heated outdoor pool we booked it so our son could swim when we got there the pool was freezing cold when we complained the staff told us the web site we booked it through were at fault for putting the wrong information on their site, we wont stay there again

This is a very clean two-star hotel. I did not expect the Ritz Carlton, but I was very comfortable there. The staff are helpful and conscientious. The bedspread was replaced with a beautiful, white duvet during my stay. The a.m. coffee was very good.

This is my 2nd time staying here and I must say that I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. The location is convenient, my room was updated and comfy, and the staff is GREAT!

If you just need a spot to stay in overnight, then this place is ok. No real complaints to mention. I would maybe stay again, I checked in at 10pm and was out by 8am. Did not even bother with the TV. No fresh coffee in the lobby at 7am and the breakfast is a cold one. I noticed the brochures in the lobby were outdated by months and both hotel clerks […] could care less. Read more

They were simply nice. Parking lot will be full in the night. Breakfast was limit choice

The room was comfortable enough. It is old, but clean. The continental breakfast was disappointing. Choices were Frosted Flakes or Cheerios. White, wheat or english muffin. Apples and oranges. Coffee, milk or orange juice.

I had to book this hotel as all others in the neigborhood were taken. Rooms were small - not really worth paying high rate. "Free Continental B'fast" was just OK. I would rather spend little more and per night at a 4-star hotel 5-miles down somewhere.

Just a hop skip away from Staples Center and Nokia. The neighborhood was so-so. Didn't have any issues there. The room is average. It was clean. I felt that it was a bit stuffy and the bed was a bit hard. But, it's a great deal for the location and I would stay there again.

We got there very late, was concerned about parking but got the last available spot ... Only spent one night, up early the next morning, but it was fine. Left my phone charger, called them and they found it, I am going to pick it up.

I read your reviews here and some were not so good. But I said what the heck. I found the place to be very clean, up to date, and well maintained. Great hotel for the money. Location was perfect for LA convention center. Staff very friendly. Room was adequate. Only fault I could find was the strong smell of bug killer in the room, and the carpets were dirty. Mc Donalds was just a walk away, doesn't get much better than that!!!!

I liked the room very much - even if it was like "cramped" ( quite a small room) it was clean, furnitures are new, bathrooms /toilets are squeaky white clean; with the microwave, ref and coffee maker, I could stay there longer and feel like I was at home. We booked this hotel for a Saturday night stay based on the location on map & price. I would pay a bit more to go somewhere else. The hotel looks really nice from the outside.Parking was TIGHT - they ran out of parking space and the overnight clerk told us to park in the handicap lot overnight & move our car at 7am when someone else left - looks unsafe […] to park outside of the hotel gates. The hotel floor was SO dirty that our bare feet were literally black by the time we got into bed. We did not see any roaches in the room due to the poor lighting, but there was a crack under the door and I did see a giant roach egg on the sidewalk in the morning, so, I wouldn't doubt it if other reviews stated that they saw roaches in the room. The hallway we had to walk through was filthy! They also leave the trash in the hallway next to the ice machine with trails of trash juice! GROSS! Maintenance INSIDE of the rooms are REAL poor. The refrigerater kept our drinks at a warm 65 degrees. We walked around to grab some drinks at the gas station and did NOT feel safe at all with the homeless people and alley ways. There is a McDonald's close by. Breakfast was a joke! It consisted of fake OJ, cereal, toast, oranges, and apples. Bar across the street thumped loud music until closing and room door did not seal to keep noise out. Free breakfast was cereal and toast. Room had that "old motel smell" to it.

Reasonable price and reasonable location to LA downtown and K-Town. Like it!

The rate was high for the location. It was noisy. In the middle of the night a party of noisy people came through, yelling and pounding up the stairs. I could hear every car and truck that drove by as if there were no walls. The linens were cheap. The room smelled odd, but we got used to that. The rooms are comfortable the and the staff was very friendly. the location is convenient, even if downtown LA isn't the nicest area. Free parking and free continental breakfast make this place a great deal.

No complaints. They provide both microwave and refrig, not that common anymore. Got a good night's sleep and that's what counts.

Inexpensive clean old style motel close to all the attractions of downtown Los Angeles.

The bed and pillows were excellent! The area is less than stellar, but this hotel was close to the COnvention Center, and you can't beat the price. If we have another event in this area, the Rodeway Inn is where we'll stay.

Our room faced the back which was quieter than facing Olympic Blvd. The elevator area could have been cleaned up but basically the room did what we wanted - it was clean and convenient

If you were to go to Staples Center, there are 2 places to stay. I opted for the Rodeway Inn because of price and because it was quaint. I enjoyed the area and the room was very clean. We had brought our own food for lunch so having the refrigerator was a plus. And a microwave didnt get used but would ve helped if needed.

We had a business conference at the convention center for the weekend. The hotel was very convenient only about a mile away. Plenty of places to eat in between. Hotel was very nice and helpful. Thanks.

Spacious Room. Very Clean. Flat Screen TV. Window Shutters. Close to Downtown LA. Will definitely use this hotel again. Great Rates.
