The hotel has convenient location off 59 and 610. We reserved a one bedroom suite which faced the Sage Rd is too noisy for us and changed to a studio suit faced to the pool. The breakfast buffet has varieties to choose from bagels, toast, scramble eggs, yogurts, fruits, oak meals, sausages, no self-make waffles, but is good enough for us. The room is the normal size for a hotel room, but is smaller than one of the Hyatt Summerfields in Denver. They also have free Wi-Fi and business center that you can print for free. It is great for the family travelers like us. But I would feel happier if there is no $8 parking fee/day. Overall is satisfied.

We stayed at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites 11/11/09 - 11/14/09 and were very pleased with our room which had full kitchen amenities and a separate bedroom with TV. We found it to be relaxing and very clean. The breakfast included was also good as was the weeknight "happy hour" food/beverage offerings. Staff was very pleasant. Will stay again when visiting the Houston area.

Nice hotel - I'll most likely stay again. I know many have complained about paying for parking, and they have a point. However, most hotels in Houston and other big cities force you to valet park for much more. I suppose you're paying because the car isn't in an open lot. It's in a secure parking deck. I love free Wi-Fi and breakfast as well as having the fridge. My only complaint was that I could hear the guests above me in the morning, which is something I've never experienced before and I travel weekly. It was only one night, so maybe they were heavy footed! :)

The hotel itself was much smaller than we expected, and it was a little difficult to figure out the parking without staff explanation. The room was really nice and much larger than expected considering the exterior. We encountered some plumbing issues, but the staff was quick to accomodate us with another room immediately. They waived our parking fee and offered items from the pantry to make up for the inconvenience. The breakfast was very enjoyable. All and all it was a great experience!

Our room was spotless and the hotel staff was friendly. The hotel is close to 610 and 59 so very convenient for the Galleria or downtown. Room rate comes with a breakfast bar that included hot food (eggs, meat, pancakes or french toast) plus cereal, bread, fruit and yogurt. There is a charge for parking ($8.00) but this was much less than I have paid at other hotels. Parking garage has easy access to the hotel. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We got a great rate on hotels.com for a weekend stay, but we were very disappointed to learn that there was an $8/day parking garage charge (self-park mind you) which was not mentioned on the hotels.com site. The suite was nice, but there were some maintenance issues (a running toilet and an air vent without an adjustment bar) which could not be repaired because it was the weekend and no service personnel were available. One day, we did not have maid service--and there was no explanation. We're hoping that this is just an "off" weekend for the hotel. It is in a good neighborhood and is close to shopping (The Galleria) and great restaurants.

This hotel worked great for me and my three kids. With a seperate bedroom, we were able to put them down to sleep and still stay up and watch a movie. My only complaint was that the sofa bed wasn't especially comfortable. Next time I'll make sure I sleep in the super comfy king bed. We didn't get to enjoy the pool, but loved being able to look out on it. The breakfast was good, although quickly depleted by guests.

The room was clean and furnished ok. The ridiculous part is the fee of $8.00 per day, per vehicle to park in the hotel parking lot. The additional fee for parking definitely robs from the prestige of the hotel giving it a cheeeeeesey second-rate appeal (for a Texas Hotel). In all fairness, the rooms were clean and nicely furnished.

Very nice layout of the room. I booked the 1 bedroom suite. Nice size living room with foldout couch and everything that you need in a kitchen. I can't give the hotel perfect marks because they put me in a room directly over the front door. There is a spotlight directly outside of the bedroom window that shines up onto the building. Heavy drapes fixed that problem but I couldn't open the curtains at night. Although the bedroom has doors that shut, I could still hear people in the hallway and I could hear noise from the street. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Had I been in a room with less traffic in the hallway it would have been much better. I'm sure that if I would have asked, they would have moved me to another room as the front desk staff person was incredibly nice.
