I arrived in Sydney, Australia on a Sunday after a very long flight and suspected that I might have a big health problem due to the trip. The receptionist at the front desk was very caring and said she would try to find a doctor for me. She researched it on-line and found a medical clinic nearby but they had just closed (2pm on Sunday). So she left a message for the Monday morning desk receptionist to get an appointment for me. She did. I went to the clinic (within walking distance of the hotel.0 I spoke to a doctor who sent me for further tests and very fortunately, I was OK. The hotel staff was very caring and efficient. That was the first time in all my travels I've needed medical help and they were terrific!

The room was good !! We paid for a harbor view room and to say there was a view is a real reach. We were on the 10th floor of a 20 story building. There MAY have been some harbor views on higher floors but probable not. All-in-all it was a nice place and a good room in a great location.

This is a great option to overpriced city hotels. right next to the tran station and Shopping center. I wasnt overly impresed with daily houskeeping but... nothng dramatic. comfy room and will stay here gain for my northside business trips by Ash from Endwell, NY on 04/14/13

The staff were first class. I had constant issues with the Internet, but the staff finally gave me two more days free to make up for all the trouble. Excellent experience. Friendly staff and the location was very convenient to shopping centers and public transport. Definitely worth the spend at this hotel. Big recommended hotel for a comfortable stay. Home away from home.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, which had plenty of room. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and conveniently located close to shops and the train station. I thought the rates were reasonable for the size and quality of the rooms. Although you are close the the train station and centre of Chatswood the rooms were surprisingly very quiet. […] All the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel as you are spoilt for choice in the surrounding area and also decided to buy our own groceries for breakfast. The pool is small and the gym is quite basic but Fintess First was just across the road if your a member. Overall a comfortable stay and I would return should I need to stay in the area again. The whole experience was OK, location was quite central with Chatswood train station, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Quite inconvenient as need to find parking for car on the streets as they charge $25 for parking per night.

The Mantra people are excellent, very responsive to any requests and willing to go out of their way to assist - greatly appreciated. Although the hotel is situated in Chatswood we decided to stay as it was increasingly difficult to find a good hotel with good reviews in Sydney at competitive rates. This hotel wins. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. It can be used for either business or leisure, with friendly staff at hand.

The convenience was a great feature, just near Chatswood Station. In Room 216 we faced another building, not a street, so it was delightfully quiet, even on the 2nd floor. Had a few issues with TV tuning, but otherwise the room was very comfortable and the fcilities adequate. We might try a 1B apartment next time. Loved the 1/2 proce deal!
