you can hear all the neighboring room doors slamming shut throughout the night (my wife is a light sleeper)...Some positives that are not asked are: the staff is very friendly and even scrambled to find me a new room when the air in our first one wouldn't work, also the price was great and was cleaner than most all 2 star hotels we've stayed at.

Had a overall pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly.The only minor compaints were that we stayed 2 nights, but for some reason was not able to connect to the WiFi until the second night and we stayed on the second floor and at all hours of the night and very early morning there were kids running and playing and making noise unsupervised in the 3rd […] floor main hallway that kept waking us up at all hours of the early morning. Rooms were large and clean beds are comfortable...breakfast was ok...but pool area needs work water was kinda nasty looking and pool was ice cold and hot tub was scorching hot...but for price it was a good place to stay

Our room and breakfast was great. We went to check out the pool and go swimming & it was horrible. The water in pool was so cloudy and yucky looking and the jacuzzi was nasty looking too. The entire pool room was not clean at all. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for a heated indoor pool.

My family and I stayed here during our trip to Texas. We had a very easy check in and a problem free stay although the rooms and hallways did have a slight cigarette smoke odor. We were pleased with the continental breakfast which satisfied all of us until lunch time. Would defiantly stay here again.

We chose the Magnolia Bay because it was along 1-10, had good ratings, and was considerably less expensive than similar hotels to the east and west that were closer to cities. It's an older property but recently remodeled. The rooms are large, nicely furnished and quiet. The hotel is easy on/off I-10.

This was a anniversary weekend trip. We stayed the first night at the Palace Casino, in Biloxi, it was wonderful; no complaints. I decided to book the next night in Gulfport and the Magnolia Bay seemed nice; if you look at the pictures. Apparently, the previous customers made some in the microwave in the room. So, I flagged down one of the cleaning ladies and told her our room was not ready and she said someone should have been cleaned it. Anyway, she took about 10 min. and cleaned it. We ended up frebreezing it up till it smelled better. We later found out the the A/C did not work , so we did not get any sleep and tossed and turned all night. It should not be called Magnolia Bay Hotel and Suites. It should be just Magnolia Inn Motel. Their was nothing suite about it. Book it only if you need a cheap place to lay and care nothing about cleanliness or comfort of your room. The room was an ok size and breakfast was good. Their was biscuits, pancakes, eggs, grits, toast, fruit, milk, cereal, and coffee. The bed was uncomfortable with tiny pillows. I would recommend staying on the next exit with the outlets and all of the restaurants, oh, theres also a Krispy Kreme, we stopped there. Even though I was there for a sad occassion, my brother-in-law brother funeral. My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. The room was very clean and in excellent condition. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot breakfast, it was awesome.

Very clean and spacious room. Location on side street, rather than main highway, eliminated traffic noise. Loved the breakfast buffet! Lots of choices including both hot foods as well as typical continental offerings. Friendly staff were very attentive to our needs. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice Clean Value Priced Hotel Close to I-10 and only 8 miles from the Gulf Beaches maybe 10 miles to the center of the casinos. Breakfast buffet is not great but better than most.

The pool/spa area was open 24 hours which is nice. We actually got to use the hot tub, since it was open passed 10PM. Breakfast was better than most places that offer a 'hot breakfast'. Pancakes, home fries, sausage and scrambled eggs.

The hotel was ok the room had some small item left, but nothing major. The food was good keep up the good work. After a long day of meetings we could not relax for the running and jumping above us, we didn't complain about it we just waited until it was quiet. The next night was great!

Overall I liked the stay, although I thought the exercise room was absolutely terrible. 1 piece of exercise weight equipment. No machines for cardio, etc. I thought the courtesy of the staff really stood out. I really enjoyed their breakfast buffet. Although I would have to find somewhere else to work out I would stay there again.

This was a true surprise. I did not really expect this quailty of hotel in this price range. The hotel was newly remodeled and very comfortable. The morning breakfast was WONDERFUL. The description is deceiving- don't fall for it!!!! The hotel has been updated, if you call painting over stained walls updating. The hotel reeks of cigarette smoke and is DIRTY!!
