this was a nice two day getaway. my dad and i arrive early and was checked in promptly even though we were about two hours early for the hotels posted check in time. we were upgraded to an oceanfront room for a minimal fee and the view was spectacular. the room service was nice and discreet and really the overall experience was pleasurable. i will definitely be staying at the sea crest again soon.

Situated on a stretch of beach in Myrtle Beach, Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach is within easy reach of Family Kingdom Amusement Park, Art Museum of Myrtle Beach, and Mount Atlanticus Miniature Golf. Also nearby are The Market Common and SkyWheel Myrtle Beach.
Hotel Features.
At Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach, enjoy a pampering afternoon at the full-service spa and cool off in one of the 2 indoor swimming pools. For a free ride to the surf and sand, catch the hotel's complimentary beach shuttle.

"Myrtle Beach-Hampton Inn"
Room was a side view room (value room) so no view off balcony which wasn't used because of that. Room was very small. Two double beds which were pretty hard and uncomfortable. Frig made a constant humming noise so we rigged it in order to quiet it. Nice place, free parking was a plus. Room was just so small for our family of 5 and bummed that we didn't […] have a view of ocean. It was nice to be able to walk out of the hotel and right on the ocean. Pools were nice and so was daily breakfast. Would be nice if the hotel provided chairs for their "private" beach area. Lifeguard company rented 2 chairs and umbrella for $30/day. "Awesome Hotel on the beach"
My wife and I had an oceanfront King bed room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The porch had two rocking chairs that we enjoyed. The breakfast is OK. I would stick with using the waffle machine or the usual cereal, yogurt, or fruit. We loved our stay at the Hampton Inn. All the rooms have a great panoramic view of the ocean. Lobby reminds you of an old time hotel. Breakfast was great, lots of places to sit and look out at the ocean. Private balconies great for views of the sunrise and ocean. Pool is decent. Outdoor hot tub would be nice. CHECK-IN WAS EASY AND STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. ACCOMODATIONS WERE WONDERFUL AND THE VIEW WAS AMAZING. IT WAS GREAT TO WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND LOOK OUT THE WINDOW TO SEE THE BEACH/OCEAN . SOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!

Well worth the little extra we had to spend for a winter room. I would say to anyone thinking about getting a cheaper place, to bump it up with this one. The room was absolutely stunning. Our oceanfront king was quite large and amazingly comfortable. The balcony was roomy and had the most beautifyl view of the ocean. The hotel is very clean, family friendly and extremely comfortable. Bathrooms were impecable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. "Great value for the money"
We only stayed one night but we were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms & hotels. Breakfast was satisfactory but nothing fancy at all. There were many small pools on the grounds but we stayed at the beach and in the ocean the whole time. We had a side room - for a great rate - and still had a view of the ocean from our porch.

Excellent service and a nice, comfortable and very clean room. The bed was super comfortable and had crisp white linens. The breakfast in the morning was great and is such a convenience. The pools, grounds, and beach are perfect for kids. We loved our entire experience there.

"Coming back"
I loved this hotel, it was everything I had read about and more. The breakfast int he morning is delicious and a perfect way to save money for other things. It is located directly on the beach and the pools are as advertised. The rooms were very comfortable and big enough for our family of 3 to be able to have space to move around. Don't bother paying […] for an ocean front room unless that is something you REALLY want becuase our ocean view room had a beautfiul view. The balcony is perfect for morning relaxation before the family wakes up. It is located in close proximity for a lot of activities. We had a great time and we will defenitely be going back. The staff was so nice everytime we saw them in the hallways, at the front desk, or even out on the grounds. Best hotel stay ever. Read more
"More than expected"
My family only stayed here for one night, but there was plenty for the kids. 2 indoor pools, playgorund, hammocks, 2 small lazy rivers and of course the beach at your door step. Oh...we didn't do this but there is a spa there as well. Free breakfast is extremely helpful for a family of 5 when you are on a budget. We had a two-bedroom suite--ocean front--over the Christmas weekend. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and plenty large enough. The lobby and breakfast areas were very attractive--nice indoor sitting areas where you could watch the ocean while drinking coffee. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the season. We stayed her from Oct 1 - 4 (Fri through Sat). I am amazed at how wonderful this hotel is. It was very quiet. We loved the lazy river, pool, and jacuzzi. We loved the lobby and 2nd floor porch and hung out there all morning. The breakfast is great. At night, we hung out in the 2nd floor lobby again and played games. When we walked on the beach NO hotel […] was as pretty. When we went and checked out the Coral Reef, the atmosphere was totally different. This hotel is a gem. This hotel is phenomenal and I cannot recommend it more highly. Great rooms, great staff, great service, great pools, great beach. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family of five.

The hotel has undergone major refurbishments and it shows. Nicely-decorated, constant cleaning going on in the common areas. The outdoor snack bar even re-opened (in this off season) because the hotel was expected to be quite full. The only drawback we found was that since we didn't have a car, there were only about a half dozen restaurants open this […] time of year near the hotel. Otherwise, a cab was needed.
