The Hampton is a very solid choice and outstanding value. Not your typical Hampton with amenities and decor fitting a beach resort. But hardly luxury accommodations either. It was quiet.

We stayed one night as a father's day surprise. The hotel was updated with a lovely nautical theme and lots of natural lighting in the lobby. Our room was VERY clean and modern with soft white duvet covers on the bed- no funky 1970’s décor here! We found the matrices in impeccable condition and to be of average comfort. While the room was a little smaller […] than some other Hampton Inn rooms I've stayed in while traveling, the size was perfect for our family of three, and that's with the pack & play crib set up. The size was also expected given the online pictures of the hotel rooms prior to booking, and from my experience, pretty typical of other hotel’s rooms on Myrtle Beach. BTW -the view from the ocean front balcony was amazing and included two comfortable rocking chairs. From a parent’s perspective, the railings were up to code- top railing high and bars were close together- a safety bonus difficult to find in the area. The staff were friendly as well and were happy to answer all of our questions. We were also allowed to use the free parking at the hotel for the remainder of our last day although we had checked out at 11am. We will be back in the future! Read more

Very happy with stay. Close to beach, great rooms, and great breakfast. Particularly helpful service because Hotels.com had mistakenly reserved a SMOKING room for us when we had chosen a non-smoking room, and the hotel staff gladly accommodated us anyways.

I thought all staff was exceptionally nice...the hotel's view from the foyer is just amazing! The breakfast each morning was very very nice. Any requests I had were met immediately...staff had wonderful attitude...want to come back as soon as possible!

Went for a few days of fresh air. Hotel was great, with the balcony offering great views of the ocean. Enjoyed a hot breakfast every morning listening to the sound of the waves. Bed was comfortable and the access to the beach was superb.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Very good breakfast that surpasses most hotels offerings. Every single staff member that we ran into in the elevators, hallways, etc. was very nice and pleasant. They also would ALWAYS hold the door for you if you were anywhere near. It was just a nice, clean, pleasant place to spend time.

Room was a side view room (value room) so no view off balcony which wasn't used because of that. Room was very small. Two double beds which were pretty hard and uncomfortable. Frig made a constant humming noise so we rigged it in order to quiet it. Nice place, free parking was a plus. Room was just so small for our family of 5 and bummed that we didn't […] have a view of ocean. It was nice to be able to walk out of the hotel and right on the ocean. Pools were nice and so was daily breakfast. Would be nice if the hotel provided chairs for their "private" beach area. Lifeguard company rented 2 chairs and umbrella for $30/day. This was my first time staying at this hotel and it was very nice. Our room was very clean and we were comfortable. The indoor pools were a blessing due to the weather outside was a bit chilly and my daughter was still able to swim. My wife and I had an oceanfront King bed room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The porch had two rocking chairs that we enjoyed. The breakfast is OK. I would stick with using the waffle machine or the usual cereal, yogurt, or fruit. We loved our stay at the Hampton Inn. All the rooms have a great panoramic view of the ocean. Lobby reminds you of an old time hotel. It was a wonderful stay. Staff and long term Guests were very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were very clean and stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Pool area was quiet and clean with a nice water temperature for a 1 year old. Beach was very accessable as well as the attached hotel parking garage. The check in experience was great! The hotel is nice. We had one hiccup with our air conditioner not working the first night so we got that night for free but the next morning the maintenence staff worked diligently to get it fixed. Room was smaller than I expected for a 2 Queen. The balcony was less than 3 feet wide, which 9 stories up was a little scary. Staff was very helpful, even though their seafood restaurant recommendation described as very reasonable priced turned out to be way over-priced. I paid $19 for 6 grilled jumbo shrimp, the size of my little finger. The peel and […] eat shrimp were larger, and I was charged for 2x the 6 shrimp appetizer when I changed to a dozen. My girl was irritated I complained and it spoiled the entire evening!! Back to the Hampton. I was disapointed to find no restaurant. We missed breakfast due to the DST change loss of an hour. Breakfast out was another $35. Breakfast next morning was very limited to cereal, sweetrolls, and scrambled egg & cheese omelots and mexican omelots. Both with cheese I cannot eat. No valet help with 5 suitcases and only 2 elevators for each tower, about 100 rooms so there were long waits Electronic card did not work so I was stranded outside at 11 pm in the cold. Well worth the little extra we had to spend for a winter room. I would say to anyone thinking about getting a cheaper place, to bump it up with this one. The room was absolutely stunning. We had a two bedroom, two bath suite on the ninth floor, looking right out onto the beach. The rooms were fresh and clean, and plenty of bath towels. A great location! Parking was good and the location gives easy access to all of MB. Breakfast was adequate.

We only stayed one night but we were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms & hotels. Breakfast was satisfactory but nothing fancy at all. There were many small pools on the grounds but we stayed at the beach and in the ocean the whole time. We had a side room - for a great rate - and still had a view of the ocean from our porch.
