If I wasn't there on a business trip, it would have been a great room for the existing rating. However, I needed a place to plug in my laptop and do work. The desk provided was pretty small, they did not provide a cat5 cable (which wasn't terrible because their wifi was definitely up to speed), and the chair was fixed, wooden one. Again, not a big deal […] if it's not for business, but for those who do require these amenities, there are better choices. The hotel was good, beds comfortable. Bonus of microwave and refrigerator in room with free wifi. Only complaint is the wall mounted heating/cooling. Could not get it to regulate. We were either freezing or sweating.

Our only real problem with the room was that we ended up with a handicap room so the closet rack is too low to hang up your clothes.But thanks to an advance reservation we had a room, the hotel was completely booked due to all the events going on that weekend, we seen others turned away who were looking for a last minute room.

Our bathroom was dirty. We stayed two nights, after the first night we left the next morning for an outing only to return to an uncleaned room.They didn't even replenish the towels. Location was great, but won't stay here again.

Arrived at hotel at around 4:15 pm. Went to front desk carrying our luggage and there were two ladies standing there. When we approached the counter we heard them talking and it was obvious one was training the other. We stood at the counter for at least 30 seconds, with no one else there before either one of them acknowledged us. Finally they asked […] how they could help and we told them we were there to check in, one of them looked at the room number and then called to see if there room was ready. It wasn't. If I can remember correctly, check in was 3pm here. Why was my room not ready.. They called up to house keeping and they said the room would be available in 5 mins so we waited. About 5 mins later we had our keys and went up. We got a whirlpool suite so the first thing I check was the cleanliness of the tub. It didn't even look like it had been touched. The little bit of standing water in it actually had dirt in it, there were smudges in it, the water intake had hair and some other stuff stuck to it, over all.. Disgusting! We were headed out for dinner so my husband stopped by the desk to tell them to re clean our tub, they said no problem. When we got back I found a haphazard attempt, there was still a beer bottle lid on the side of the tub and hair on the side and in it. So I cleaned it myself. Beyond that, could easily hear people just walking around upstairs and doors slamming in the hall. This just wasn't the relaxing hotel over reviews pointed to. Read more

This is a good place to stay with family!! I am very picky when it comes to hotels! I would say this is middle of the road!! They did see me go into my two rooms before unpacking with rubber gloves and called me right away to ask if there was a problem!! Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and offered a lot of selections. We were put right next to the laundry room and thought it might be noisy but it was fine. We did not use the laundry but it was a nice feature had we needed to. We would stay here again.

Very pleasant. Staff was very helpful. Printed directions to tourist sites.I called late in the evening for an extra pillow and sheet, once they located them they brought them to our room. Free hot breakfast was plentiful and great selections.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Chesterfield. The hotel decor was very nice. Outstanding staff--they allowed us to check in early and offered suggestions to siteseeing places. One employee took the time to collect a bunch of brochures to attractions we might want to check out. Nice hot breakfast selection and cookies in the afternoon […] were a nice treat!Room was very clean and comfortable. Everything was fine, but all the TVs in the hotel stopped working for an entire evening, which was somewhat bothersome. We later found out that the situation could have been remedied with the throw of a single circuit breaker switch. Anyway, the hotel desk informed us that we would get fifty dollars credited back to our credit card, but we never received […] it. Rather, they later notified us that we could receive a free night's stay (at their location only) on a future visit. As we probably will not need to return to that location anytime soon, this isn't much of a concession. Note - this is the *only* time a Hampton Inn hasn't addressed a problem to my satisfaction. I still think they are a great value, but I question the management at this particular property. Read more

The staff was friendly and took the time to give directions and look up traffic conditions on-line. The room was kept clean - the common areas were clean. Good selection for breakfast. 20-30 minutes from downtown, but overall great location with many restaurants nearby.

It was a really nice hotel. We have 3 kids that made great use of the indoor pool & whirlpool. The room was nice & clean. I recently stayed here with my kids on a long weekend trip to St. Louis to see the sights. Very nice hotel. I requested a roll-a-way bed upon check-in and it was delivered within minutes. The neighborhood/location was very nice- lots of shopping, restaurants and a movie theater. Not terribly convenient to the "touristy" spots but a great location none-the-less. […] I didn't mind driving at all! The room was very nice. Something that I detest about most hotels is when they have "bedspreads" on the beds because you know they don't get washed very often. This hotel used duvets with covers which I much prefer since the duvet covers get cleaned/changed after each guest. I highly recommend!! Very nice experience! I'd stay again in a heartbeat! We reserved 2 rooms adjoining. Called the night before to confirm. The worker confirmed. We got to the hotel with 5 kids. Adjoining rooms with 2 queens size beds "does not exist". REALLY? at 8 pm 3 hours away from hotel, I find out! Then our rooms were not even next to each other. Will not go back, and will not recommend a friend to stay there.
