"Repeat stay"
Having already stayed here between Lima and Galapagos, I was satisfied enough to stay another night between Galapagos and Cuenca. Very centrally located for exploring what there is to see in downtown Guayaquil; a couple of blocks from the Malecon and also from the cathedral. Excellent location if you want to stay in downtown Guayaquil for a day or two; not much to see though in downtown Guayaquil. Wonderful breakfast and other meals in the hotel restaurant. Initially had some problems with air-conditioning, TV and WiFi but they were addressed quickly and satisfactorily by staff coming to my room. Comfortable bed and large […] bathroom. The room was great. The included breakfast had good variety and the omlette was so good I asked for another. The service from staff was excellent, with the assistance provided by Luisa (from the reception desk) being the best of all. I was very impressed with Luisa's professionalism and her efficiency with her own job enabled her to help other staff […] when they needed her to interpret what I could not eat (at dinner) because of medical problems. El servicio en recepcion (martes l7-07) no fue muy amable, sin embargo el camarero/botones fue mejor y mas amable. Nos ofrecio la cama adicional para nuestro hijo menor. No habia jacuzzi nos comunicaron que no habia agua caliente en el jacuzzi. La srta. de los desayunos no es muy amable, mas bien se mortifico cuando preparamos nosotros los Waffles. Vi blev tilldelade ett rymligt rum, gott om utrymme för en familj med två nästan fullvuxna barn. Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam. Hotellets läge passade oss utmärkt, nära till den fina strandpromenaden och alla sorts butiker. Gymmet och spaavdelningen provade vi en kort stund, där hade vi säkert tillbringat mer tid om vår vistelse varit längre. Frukostbuffén […] var bra, det vi och många andra europeer saknar är bättre ( starkare ) kaffe och "hembakat", mörkt bröd.
