Night staff was very unfriendly. When we asked a few questions she was very short and made us feel like we were keeping her from something. The room was OK. Clean enough but in need of some updates. Creepy entrance to the back where the rooms are. Overall it was ok to stay for $66. Wouldn't stay there again.

We came to Springfield for a baseball tournament so we only needed a room for one night. This room was adequate. It was clean but old - in need of some updates. The staff was nice and helpful to give directions to restaurants, etc. The continental breakfast had many items to choose from. Parking was close to our room.

We were in Springfield for a sports tournament and spent 3 nights at the hotel. Although certainly not the newest nor most luxurious hotel around, it was very quiet, clean, had the correct amount of amenities and everything that needed to work, worked well (plumbing, lights, heater, etc.). The wireless setup was kind of offbeat, but to be expected since […] the corridors are all exterior and there's no central spot for a single access point. It was certainly fast enough. The rooms just need to be redecorated. Tiles loose in the bathroom, peeling wallpaper, and a air system that is either too hot or too cold (couldn't find a happy medium). Still we were only there for work and just needed a place to sleep.

It had no eminities except a continental breakfast. It was like staying in a Motel. The water spicket was backwards in the bathroom (hot and cold switched in the shower). Room in need of a paint job. Floors were weak, glad I was on the first floor. No refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. It was however a microwave in the lobby.

The facility is rundown and the rooms were dirty. They also didn't have some of the advertised amenities. I chose the hotel because it was near an event I was attending. For the money I should have stayed a little farther away.

No restaurants nearby. Motel room was fine, clean and comfortable. Motel looks deserted when you drive up because parking is in the rear. Quiet and good deal for the price.

Property was built in the '70s or 80's... and has not been updated since. Room was musty and everything was stained. Bed was a rock, with cotton-stuffed pillows which offered no support. Never stay here!!

The rooms were clean but in terrible shape. Holes in walls, lights that didn't work, bathroom doors that would close but then got stuck and one could not open. In both rooms we had there were holes in the bathroom doors/wall. There was no internet signal to speak of and no cell signal at all. Not only did the light switches not work but the TV did not […] consistently work. It was difficult to turn on and off using the supplied remote AND the manual switches on the tv console itself. Hotel was near the airport & Lincoln tomb, & not far from downtown. The breakfast buffet was OK & well set up. However, the hotel's in kind of an isolated spot for other services, especially restaurants. Had to drive several miles to get dinner after checking in. The suite was large but a little underfurnished. At least one lamp didn't work. Also the […] front door showed signs of a previous break-in. Very far from the freeway, the location is in front of a cemetary in the middle of nowhere. The room was small, outdated and uncomfortable. Not worth the money. I personally think this place should be tear down.

At first sight I was very disappointed. Otherside was worn down looking and was worried I made a mistake. On getting inside the room, I was very surprised at how clean it was. So don't let the outside fool you. The price was great and the room was comfortable and clean. Would stay here again.

It was convenient. The pool was dirty, there was a mole floating around, the water level was low. There is no elevator and very difficult to take large suitcases to second floor. There was no key for the safe in the room I had. Beds were uncomfortable also.

The employees were very nice and they were constantly performing some type of cleaning in the common areas. The hotel does appear to be older, though it would only require a little work in the front area. My mattress box spring was ripped and there was a dog next door barking most of our stay. No sink outside the bathroom area. I had requested a room […] that was dog and smoke free due to my allergies. Painting would improve the look and some other repairs to the stairway and other interior areas. The local area also needs grass cutting which most likely is a city responsibility but the proximity to the hotel makes the hotel look bad. Close to food and sight seeing locations. Read more

When we arrived near 9pm there was only one car in the parking lot. The manager seemed to be the only person working and he was running around with a portable phone. It turns out that all the guests were parked behind the building. The hotel is several minutes from I-55. The room was clean and comfortable, except for the air conditioning. Even on "max cold" and with the fan on "high" setting, the entire unit turned off, the room would become very quiet and the air would start feeling still and stagnant, then the entire unit (which was rather noisy) would turn on again. badly needs an update. we thought we entered a time warp and landed in 1965; that's how old the furniture and appointments appeared. The TV had to be 20 years old. really hard to find too, with no restaurants nearby. We will never return here.
