Honestly, the rooms are not overly special. However, i was staying here for business and it suited my needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is free breakfast. You are only a few blocks away from the highway. There plenty of businesses and restaurants close by. The area is OK. It wasn't a terrible neighborhood nor was it a nicer neighborhood. I had a very good experience here. I've stayed at other places in nicer areas of Tracy. I'll still go back to Microtel Inn at Tracy again.

The room set up was very good because there was a microwave, refrigerator, nice little table, and the room was spacious. Didn't get a chance to sample breakfast but the others with me said it was good.

Made a reservation for a non-smoking room... none where available at time of check-in and got STUCK into a smoking room. According to the front desk, they did not hold a non-smoking room because the reservation was not made directly with Best Western. A manager was not available to help resolve the issue. its not very secure and there isnt enough parking. Overnight staff was not very helpful/knowledgeable. I requested extra pillows to prop my swollen feet and i was told, "I think we ran out". The breakfast was decent and we were checked out by the manager who was a pleasure.

The hotel was old and not particularlly well kept up. The staff was nice. The room was clean but worn. The biggest issue with the room was I did not feel safe. There is a balcony that connects to the room next door, anyone could hop the rail and be in your room if you left the balcony door open. We were right next to the stairwell exit, that supposedly […] required a card to enter, however at 11 pm the door was propped open with a tie, I left my room to close it and then it was open again an hour later at midnight...anyone could walk in and out of the bldg. The lobby is very nice, I checked in and was assigned to Building "A" as I walked in that building the smell of Mildew was very obvious and pretty strong, you would think they would fix that. We arrived at midnight and left at 9 the next morning but I thought the hotel was very nice for the price we paid. Free breakfast from the menu was an added bonus. I'd definitely stay there again.

The lobby is lovely. The neighborhood is really sketchy, we thought we had a 50% chance of having it broken into. It shares a parking lot with a Food4Less in a pretty dark area. I wouldn't walk around at night. The pool area and hot tub were well-maintained but for some reason that weekend all the pipes must have exploded. There were towels over soaked […] carpet in all the hallways and the whole place smelled like mildew. The room was spacious and there was a fridge and microwave. In town for a funeral, I chose the Best Western for the location only. Boy was I surprised! The room was clean and comfortable. All public areas were smartly decorated and inviting. Check in was simple and quick. The room had all the amenities I would want in a higher priced hotel: Coffee maker, fridge, toiletries, iron, comfortable pillows and bed. Neighborhoods in this town can be shady, and this is in a better neighborhood then most. The hotel still has security patrolling and corridor doors that are locked. the hotel needs to begin serious deep cleaning: carpets have odor, the quilt did also. the rooms and building make for a lot of work for the guest, put in place conditions which make for a comfortable stay with no work involved. the staff were very kind and helpful

Was there for a funeral, upon arrival the rooms were not ready although check -in is 3:00. I had explained upon booking the room that we would be there for a funeral/wake which began at 4:00pm therefore would like an early check-in at which tome I was told would not be a problem. Could not get into the room until after 3:00 at which time the room had […] not been cleaned. There were dirty towels the bedding had not been changed.Finally we asked for a different room and was given one. While going to the the funeral the next morning at 0900 realized, I had left my camera in the room immediately called the hotel, at which time I was told the camera was not there and that all staff take periodic lie detector test. I told the gentleman that I didnt care what they do, but I had left my camera there and would like to come and pick it up. He again very rudely said it was not there. While heading back to Arizona I got a call saying they had found the camera, I could come and pick it up. I explained that we were on the highway heading back to AZ. They then told me that they could send my camera to me and charge it to my credit card. I said why am I being charged I could have picked it up,had someone called me sooner. All of that happenened on a Wednesday now it is Monday of the following week and I have yet to receive a call or my camera. I am truly dissapointed...... Read more

Offer a free continental breakfast, room was clean and put us on first floor because we had our puppy with us and was a $10 additional bucks for him. Parking was awful, but security helped us find parking and our room. The surrounding location was pretty good, no views from room but within 1block to malls, restaraunts and stores.

The hotel manager, Roderigo, was great! He was very professional, courteous and helpful with our needs. He and Debbie (?) called our room to make sure we were doing fine and were only staying over for one night...great attention! Would definitely stay there again, if ever in Stockton for overnight.

Front desk was frienly and helpful,room was clean and comfortable;except right after we entered the room and opened the window a round of about 18 gun shots rang out.We hit the floor and were real uneasy the rest of the night and at midnight anothr round of 8 rang out.Pretty scarey and very surprising because the hotel was nice.

I have stayed at this Best Western several times and do prefer to stay there. The Best Western in Stockton is close to malls and restaurants. It has a very nice dining room, which serves a continental breakfast, that aims to please. The gym has an elliptical, weights, and a treadmill and is located near the laundry facility so you can do laundry while […] you work out. There is also a computer and printer located in the lobby which is great for printing out boarding passes or other documents. The internet works in all of the rooms that I have stayed in (as opposed to just some of the rooms!). I have always found the staff to be both very helpful and very responsive. I also like the card access needed to enter the hallways leading to the guests rooms.
