We choose this hotel because we just had a quick 1 night stay at the airport and I read a review saying it was very convenient due to the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus stop says there is a bus every 30 minutes but we waited almost an hour before we finally called the hotel and were told one would come in 10 minutes. Since the hotel is actually only a […] 5 minute drive from the airport I guess they just wait until you call them to send one. If you stay here call them right away - don't count on the bus just coming. I wish we'd just taken a taxi. Otherwise it was OK. Pretty standard really. With an early morning flight out of Berlin's Schonefeld Airport, we booked a 1-night stay here. A bonus was free shuttle between hotel and airport. Also, the room was small but nicely decorated and clean. Negatives included staff that were aloof (both van drivers and front desk staff both evening and morning), and the lack of a good lobby area (4 chairs […] around a table isn't ideal). One of the factors making this hotel our selection was the promise of free wifi in the room. Not only did it not work at all in our room (trying 2 different codes), neither did it work in the lobby. In the middle of nowhere, I felt like we were the only guests. Nowhere to walk to and nothing to do unless it was inside the hotel. My flight was cancelled due to poor weather and the airport running out of de-icing fluid and I had to spend an extra night in Berlin in order to catch the next flight in the morning. Checkout was the longest I have every experienced. No greeting in the morning and no conversation but 2 staff members who seemingly wanted to take so long to do their job. I was not greeted in the morning and I was not told thankyou for staying. Also failed to provide a receipt for the room which I had to return to get. Now the biggest issue of all […] was their free bus transport to the airport. I boarded the bus to the airport along with 8 other people. No communication from the driver from the beginning and then we arrived at a building that had an airport name written across the front but was more within an indistrial estate. Most people got off and my bag was placed on the floor outside the bus. Thinking this was the drop off point since the driver was not communicating I exited the bus and when picking my bag up he drove away. It seems they have 2 drop off points with the airport located 1/2 mile away from where I was left. I then walked to the airport through the rain.. Very poor service from start to finish. Read more

This hotel is suitable for an overnight stay, and it is very close to the airport...you could almost walk there if you wanted to. We were disappointed in the services offered: no pool (which would have been great after a long flight in extremely hot weather), we had to pay for Internet services which ended up being down the whole day anyway, TV stations […] weren't working in our room (which were apparently mostly German language anyway), etc. The room was comfortable and clean and larger than many rooms you find in European hotels. There is a limited room service menu, and the hotel restaurant was nice enough, but quite pricy. You could park outside for free, or on their parking garage for a fee. The staff were friendly and polite, but we would not consider staying here for more than one night due to all of the "free" services we are accustomed to. Read more

Very good hotel but glad I got it on an offer - not worth the supposed full price. Don't book breakfast: I refused it @ Euro 20 - how can they charge that? It's more expensive than at an airport (although it's probably edible). Courtesy bus to/from airport every 30 minutes a good bonus, though.

Don't want to waste too much time with a wordy negative review so here are a few points I had objections with at the hotel: 1. remote for television didn't work. Took 30 minutes for someone to check. 2. No wifi free or otherwise. 3. Air Con temp control didn't work so no heating. 4. Paid 11 euro for pay tv which was 6 channels , 2 blue movie, 1 German […] movie , 1 English movie which played every second movie in German anyway , 1 Eurosport and bundesliga German football. Zero value for money unless you wanted the blue movies. 5. No room service on the day we were there. Had to go to the bar and get food made and carry it past other guests up to the room. 6. There were coffee cups and a kettle but to open the plastic bag with coffee and tea sachets you had to pay. Regardless of the cost this should be free at a four star hotel. I booked this hotel on an Expedia non listed deal and am sorry I chose this deal over a hotel closer to central Berlin. Complete disappointment. Read more

Ideal location if you are leaving from Berlin early in the morning but a bit isolated if you want to do anything other than have a good night's sleep. Dette 4 stjerners hotellet ligger rett ved SXF flyplass og hotellets shuttle-bil kjører deg til/fra flyplassen og tog stasjonen gratis. Hotellet er et typisk konferanse hotell med spa avd og trimrom. J avais réservé une chambre double avec grand lit alors qu'a mon arrivée j ai eu la désagréable surprise de me voir que le lit n était pas très large pour 2 (on n est pas gros), une seule serviette dans la salle de bain et la couette trop juste pour deux personnes. Berlin Schoenefeld空港は旧東ドイツ側のハブ空港だったところ。2012年にはベルリン・ブランデンブルク新国際空港として生まれ変わります。そんな空港から約1キロの当ホテルは数年前にリノベーションされており、とても快適。。周りは遠くの方で新空港建設の骨組み・建設重機が見えているだけで何もありませんが(Jun2011時点)。駐車もすぐ前の道に縦列するだけというシンプルさ。部屋は清潔・快適で、Holiday Innとしてもうしぶんなし。なお、レンタカーのナビで登録する場合には、Berlin市ではなくSchoenefeld市で検索下さい。

Haben eine Nacht dort verbracht bevor wir von Schönefeld in unseren Urlaub gestartet sind. Gut fand ich den kostenlosen hoteleigenen Shuttle-Bus, der alle 20 Minuten fährt. Allerdings waren wir exakt eine Minute verspätet am Hoteleingang und hat er nicht mal diese eine Minute auf uns gewartet, und das, obwohl wir angemeldet waren, das finde ich nicht […] sehr Kundenfreundlich. Das war aber der einzige Wermutstropfen. Sehr praktisch: vor dem Haus gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze, auf denen kann man das Auto auch den Urlaub über stehen lassen. Read more

also die sauberkeit ließ im bad zu wünschen übrig, klopapier wurde nur alle 2 tage aufgefüllt und die toilette stank ziemlich stark nach urin, und man bekam das auch nicht nach mehrmaligen spülen weg, deswegen musste man immer den klodeckel runterklappen. gesaugt wurde leider auch nicht, und betten wurden nur oberflächlich glatt gestreift.
