"Nice place to stay for the family."
My wife, three kids and my self needed a place that was clean, affordable (for SF that is) and close to Pier 39/Fisherman's wharf, this hotel met our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful, neighborhood was nice, the hotel is clean and well kept. If you want a grand hotel, this is not it, if you need a nice place to sleep that is close to the action, […] i would recommend it. The workout room was also very nice, no pool though. I would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I'd stay again"
Beds are comfortable, room was clean, had to walk forever for ice machine. Location is great for visiting Fishermans Wharf. It's a big city so parking was nuts, have to use valet for hotel parking which is $50 per night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel good location , bed wasnt the most comfortable , but overall nice stay .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a favorite hotel where we always previously stayed, but there were no rooms available so this was our fist experience at Pier 2620. Rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. The Fitness Room was way beyond anything I expected with quality equipment. Our previous "favorite place to stay" has been replaced!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was just for one night, got there late and checked our early, but, I was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"One night stand"
Excellent location in the Fishermans Wharf area of San Francisco. Hotel was clean, had a friendly staff, and a fantastic outside pool/patio area. RecommendedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel is nice, staff is just 'meh'"
I liked the hotel and the location. The hotel staff wasn't very friendly, however. I stayed for 3 nights and didn't even find out until I was going to check out that they had a pool. That would have been helpful information. I also had very drunk, loud neighbors on the 2nd night while I was attempting to get my 2 yr old to bed. On the hotels.com site […] it says that there is private parking, but it neglected to say that it is $40 a day to park in their lot, so that tacked an extra $120 onto my stay. If you're paying upwards of $300 a night to stay at a hotel, you should be made aware of the amenities (and additional costs) and be greeted by friendly hotel staff. Hi love my stay will be backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I arrived to find out they had water issues and they decided to make reservations for me for the hotel across the street(the Marriott) where I had to pay for WI FI. It would of been nice if the manager called me ahead of time so I can decide what I wanted to do. I would have preferred to have made my own reservation elsewhere but I know they were trying […] to be nice. To add to this bizarre incident...Marriott charges parking. I left my car at Pier 2030 parking lot for free parking. The walk was short but not sweet. I was tired after a long drive and working all day. I wished they contacted me about the situation. Pier 2030 only covered for my room at Marriott. I think they could have done more. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was very accommodating to my request for an early check-in and rushed a room. The bed was extremely comfortable, there needs to be more light in the room. It's very dark at night when trying to pack with only one small desk lamp and a night stand lamp. Add a ceiling fixture or can lights. Patti, the concierge was the best in arranging our airport […] transportation and recommending restaurants with a discount card. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location close to Fisherman's Wharf"
We enjoyed our stay here. Everyone from the staff was extremely helpful especially with info for traveling visitors looking to see the sights in the Wharf area. The people who stayed at this hotel were very friendly and sociable. Hotel is very well located within a shot walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Close to Fishermen's Wharf. Location is what makes this hotel. Next time I would stay in Marina District where there is a great variety of hotels and motels. We have stayed in nicer hotels in midtown Manhattan for a third the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great family hotel"
Having come from a "pricey" hotel in Union Square (for my husband's work convention), we were quite pleased to get to a NICE hotel! If we ever come back to San Francisco, you can bet we will stay here again. Beds were comfortable, shower toiletries were all natural (and big bottles), no dust, plantation shutters in the room (which is nice because there […] is no sound to wake the baby), and great coffee. There was also a well-stocked exercise room with the standard machines plus free weights, medicine balls, and some other accessories you don't typically find. The last pleasant surprise was the patio sitting area. There is no pool, but there is a very enjoyable courtyard with plenty of seating for some less chaotic relaxing. I didn't read it on hotels.com or the corporate website, but they do have cribs (pack n plays) available. Again, it was a wonderful hotel. Especially if you have a family it is a great choice. Oh, and Walgreens is literally on the opposite corner and Trader Joe's is just down the block. Those two locations were quite helpful for us! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to everything in North Beach"
I had a single night to myself to explore San Francisco after being in the area for business. I knew I was taking the Alcatraz Tour the next day, so I wanted to be within walking distance of the Piers. Well, this hotel was in walking distance of everything else I wanted to see as well. The Embarcadero, Coit Tower, Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, […] and also the abundant restaurant and bar scene of the North Beach neighborhood. When it came time for dinner, I took an unnecessary cab ride to my first destination (would have been a nice 20 min walk), Sodini's for food. I then proceeded to make my way back to my hotel, stopping at every local spot that caught my eye. Vesuvio's, North Star Cafe, O'Kennedy's were just a few. The location definitely served my purposes more than anything as I didn't really spend time at the hotel other than to sleep, but my Kingsize bed room for one was roomy and comfortable. Only gripe I have is the $40 parking fee tacked onto your bill, which they absurdly call "valet" even if you don't use the valet (that costs you $50). I did the trade my garage ticket in so my card key have me access to the parking (the "hotel guest parking" route), but it actually would have been cheaper for one night to not do this and just pay the normal public garage parking fee. We enjoyed the hotel. We booked it at a good price for the area. As with all of downtown San Francisco, it winds up costing a fortune for parking. We accidentally stayed an extra hour and a half and they charged us a total of $75 in parking for our one night stay. I can't imagine staying in a hotel that is 45 minutes from the airport and not driving. […] Parking should be included with a 4 to 5 star hotel. Also a hot/soaking tub would be nice since there's no pool either, considering there is a large outdoor roof top patio. The exercise facility was up to date and clean. The hotel is in a nice location, only 3 blocks away from the wharf. We were surprised to find out that the wharf closed at 830 PM on a Friday night, so be aware! There is a great bakery where you can get healthy food (nice break from the clam chowder bread bowls and fish n chips). It's right around the corner, across the street from Denny's. I would stay again, but I would also be more time conscious of the parking. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Spacious clean and tidy rooms. Extra comfortable beds. Excellent location a very short walk to the fisherman's wharf. "Very nice hotel !"
2 blocks from Fishermans Wharf, 1 block from vintage trolley line, 1 block from Powell Mason cable car line, Wallgreens 1 block away with everything you need including beer or wine. Parking below hotel is $45 a night, but that is the going rate in SF and so convenient...you do not need a car it this town unless you you are heading to pints elsewhere […] after SF. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hints:Skip the overpriced hotel breakfast and goe to Hollywood Cafe and or Darren's Restaurant, both only 2 blocks away. Take the less expensive boat cruises at the pier vs the more expensive name brand cruises. Same exact sunset cruise for less money and you can BYO beer and food. The. name brand lines ran next to us and took same exact route and they charge for beer and snacks! Buy a one, three or 7 day MUNI pass depending on your stay. Good for ALL MUNI. Transportation including Cable cars, trolleys, light rail , buses and more. Three day is $23, a one way cable car is $6 and you will want to connect to other cable lines and need to return ...we were there two days, rode all three CC lines as well as vintage trolleys along Embarcodaro to Ferry Building( also worth doing) and to AT&T stadium. Download the free MUNI app map...awesome even as a street map. Vist the cable car museum, awesome and interesting for all...my wife loved it. See the wheels driving the cables as well as history of the CCs. Also visit the trolley museum near the Ferry building. Both museums are Free! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Weekend at the San Francisco wharf"
Hotel is in a great location if visiting the SF wharf. Room 180 has a horrible view of the HVAC system, a broken fenced enclosure and is located so close to the windows that it will keep you up all night. The sofa seat cushion in the bedroom had a large tear in it and needs to be replaced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is one block from cable car line, close to the Fisherman's Wharf shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean with very comfy beds.Genuine Expedia guest review
"overpriced for mediocre"
I will stay at an adjacent hotel next time. I come for business twice a month and this place was pricier but offered less than neighboring hotels. The staff ignore the do not disturb signs and burdt in your room, they leave room service items in the hall for longer than a full day, the air conditioners cannot be changed (and I got very warm, and the […] mattress was horrible! Very friendly staff. Hotel is clean and well run. The club buffet breakfast is nice with egg scrambles and all your typically free hotel breakfast. "Pier 2620 - Close to Fisherman's Wharf"
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a room on the street and the street noise was very loud late into the night making it difficult to sleep. The inside rooms probably would have been quieter.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Location, location, location"
This turned out to be a perfect location for us. Just a few blocks from the Wharf, Ghirardelli Square and the cable cars. But far enough away not to be noisy. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. We had a club room so there was free breakfast every morning including scrambled eggs with various ingredients. We didn't see the bar or regular […] restaurant so I can't comment on those but overall we would highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to the wharf. It's also close to the tours. "Typical Hotel in the Wharf"
Fisherman's Wharf is extremely touristy, and you're not going to find a great boutqiue hotel experience in this area. I was in the neighborhood for work and this hotel was fine. Were there any bells and whistles? No. This is your standard, run of the mill hotel. Everything was clean, but un-unique.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, but the windows did not block out noise from the outside at all and I am a heavy sleeper, it seems like trucks use the road along side the hotel all night. The rooms were clean and the staff we dealt with were really nice except for one of the people who registered the other couple we were with would not give them a King bed as they […] had reserved on this site. They were told since we got the room from a 3rd party site Hotels.com that they didn't have priority for a King bed as they had reserved online. Other than the noisy traffic all night and the rude person at check in our friends had to deal with, the stay was pleasant. We made sure not to rent a car as well since they wanted $50 per night just to park it at the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Former Hilton Fisherman's Wharf"
This is a new incarnation of the Hilton at Fisherman's Wharf. It's the same great location but they are missing a few key elements. They seem to have put a lot of money into remodeling the lobby and the first floor. What they don't have, is any room service or any meal other than breakfast being served in the hotel. They offer a series of local vendors […] who will deliver to the hotel lobby but no actual room service. This seems really at odds with the hotel seeking to define itself as "boutique". They have a wine bar that is only open in the evenings. And, without having room service, a bar, or an all day dining option, I fail to see how they can hope to rank themselves as four-star and charge $429 a night. It's a nice enough place, but not a good value Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Comfortable and convenient"
The hotel does not offer much beyond the very clean, comfortable rooms, but it is in such a great area that only time we were in the hotel was to spend the night. For that, it was terrific. Parking is pricey, but that's pretty standard in the area. I would stay here again if I got another good deal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
