Hotel was nice, but charging $50.00/day for parking is outrageous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice & Relaxing Getaway"
Overall the hotel was nice and comfy. Of course I rarely stayed in the room but I loved the location & their bed. My boyfriend and I joked at how Level 1 smelled real nice but the 2nd Floor smelled of something like no other. It had some funky smells in the hallways. I found the front desk staff to be on the MEH side. It was a hit or miss when speaking […] to them. Some were super nice and awesome and other times they would be rude & quick to get off the phone or dismiss me. I thought it would have been more up scale hotel for the price but it is what is was. It was a pleasure staying here but I don't think I would return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Right in fisherman's warf but away from main drag. Nice to be a little away from all the people. Hotel was expensive but they all are. Breakfast was good and all the staff was very accommodating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel just a short distance from Pier 39"
The gentleman that checked us in was quite friendly and helpful. However, the concierge was not helpful and rather snotty, imho. The room we got must not have been renovated yet though I have seen on other reviews that this is being done throughout the hotel. The room was not as roomy or quite as close to the wharf as I thought it would be. But, all […] in all, it was adequate and right across from one of the cable car turn arounds if you are planning to use public transportation. Also, the entire time of our stay (5 days) the printer for the public computer was out of ink so you had to go to the front desk and sign on there if you needed to print a document. The front desk staff was always accommodating. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great location for fishermans wharf. Room could do with updating and could do with friendlier staff on front desk. Other than that good value for money.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Pier 39"
Horrible management. We had several problems and staff was not accommodating. We rented 5 rooms July 9th - 14th 2014 for our wedding. One member of our party had cash stolen from room safe.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel was within walking distance to Pier 39."
Hotel disappointed us in many ways. We stayed there July 9th-14th 2014 for our wedding, renting a total of 5 rooms for family and friends. We requested that one room be on a separate floor due to conflict with one family member. We were assured, on the three different occasions that we reminded them, that it would be taken care of. It was not. They […] said they upgraded our room, which meant we were put in a handicapped room. We are not handicapped. The tiny closet only had a low bar so I could not hang my long wedding dress. The hotel breakfast buffet was twice as expensive as the Denny's next door, and had very few things. Nobody could print their boarding passes on the computer in lobby because there was no ink. Also, they had the wrong date on computer causing many to have problems when they needed to change their flights due to bad weather. One of our party had cash stolen out of room safe. They have keys not combination locks. Hotel response was only, "We'll look into it." We travel to San Francisco twice a year to see family, and we will NEVER stay here again. The hotel is located 1 block to Fisherman Wharfs, 1 block to cable car station,. It takes u 10 to 15 min to get to Union Square with the cable car. Very clean and comfortable, the pp at the front desk and at the concierge are very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
Large, clean rooms. Hotel lobby smelled amazing!! Staff was friendly & helpful. Concierge service went above & beyond. Hotel bar was great!!!! Best of all....the hotel's location was right at the center of all Fisherman's Wharf activities. Can't wait to return to SF and stay at this hotel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel for a Visit"
WE loved the hotel and it's location. Very nice staff and excellent room. The location of this hotel is perfect to visit the Pier 39 all the ferries, and the cable car.Genuine Expedia guest review
not worth your money! better off at holiday inn which is closer to the pier 39 and you have to pay $45 to park in this hotel per night! that crazyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location. Close to pier 39."
I would recommend this place to anyone. Nice place.Genuine Expedia guest review
Last minute stop with the kids down at the wharf and didn't feel like leaving, super comfortable bed, the rooms are a little older but the walking distance to the wharf was so convenient. Staff was very friendlyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Family trip to SF!"
Pier 2620 was the perfect spot for our quick family trip to San Francisco. The room was very comfortable and clean, and a good size for our family of 4. The hotel couldn't be in a better location, short walk to Fisherman's Wharf, and other waterfront sites, lots of restaurants, shops etc. We would definitely stay again!Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel location is perfect for exploring the waterfront and main downtown. The hotel support is less than what you would expect for the price. The hotel boasts a courtyard where you can hang out with others. In this courtyard are propane outdoor heaters. They ran out of fuel. When I called the front desk to let them know the gas ran out they informed […] me that they no longer support filling those tanks because they are no longer the Hilton. WHAT? We also called for someone to show us how the USB ports work to play movies from a device. They sent what obviously was a glorified janitor, he looked at it and said he will be back soon. He never returned. The hotel has no pay movie selection associated with there TV's in the room. For over $200 per night are you kidding me? For what you pay for this outfit they were understaffed in the lobby. The bell-hop (if you call them that anymore) was on his own and so overwhelmed he could never get to the door in time to open it for you. For what they attempt to achieve with their contemporary look in the restaurant and lobby, the completely fail with ammentities and support. I would likely return only if I found massive discounts. I really don't need all the fluff of a big hotel, I was simply dissapointed they could not support the average hotel customer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel in prime location"
The hotel is adjacent to the wharf and was a great find. Walking distance to all major attractions. The hop on hop off tour is 2 blocks away, good restaurants all within walking distance. The city is easy to navigate plenty to do to and see. Take the time to go to Muir Woods worth the trip. Did the Alacatraz boat tour did not go on the island book this […] 4 weeks prior to your trip. This place was amazing! It was classy and clean. I'd like to give a shout-out to Edvita (I think that's her name) who checked us in. She was very pleasant and helpful in giving us the ropes of San Francisco. She took a map and highlighted certain landmarks for us and the routes to get there. The location of this hotel was perfect. We were within walking […] distance of Fisherman's Wharf, crooked Lombard, Little Italy, and any public transportation stops. Would not recommend bringing a car as parking is extremely expensive, and the streets in San Francisco, well drive at your own risk! Breakfast is not included, but there were many restaurants within walking distance. We overlooked the courtyard, which was quiet. I can see, though, how the street sides would be noisy. The shutters on the windows were a nice touch. No pool, but I don't think many hotels in SF have one - too Cold and so much to do! We feel the price was right for what we got. "1st Time to Cali"
The location was excellent!! I would have liked to have seen a complimentary breakfast for the cost of the room. The hotel staff was cordial and helpful. I'd definitely recommend anyone traveling to the area stay here. ADDED BONUS-- the water tasted amazing straight from the tap, and it was luxurious to bathe in!! :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel in the midst of tourist area"
The location is good if you plan to do the San Fran touristy things, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, etc. The hotel staff was very helpful and the room was clean. The hotel is showing its age just a bit but it probably sees lots of traffic.Genuine Expedia guest review
We walked pretty much everywhere while in San Francisco and Pier 2620 was a great location. We spent some time with the Concierge one morning and got lots of great tips. We never had time to visit the wine bar but it looked pretty awesome. The rooms were clean and the bed was pretty comfy. We stayed on the 3rd floor (rm 382) and it was fairly quiet […] at night. We didn't hear traffic or street noise; just the clicking of the air conditioner....which was my only complaint. It didn't seem to regulate properly and would automatically go up to 76 degrees at night even though we had it set on 72. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great place to stay"
This was a great place to stay. It is a few short blocks from all of the restaurants of Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help when we had questions. "Exactly what I expected"
The hotel was nice, bed comfortable, neat looking lobby etc. The only downsides were there was no pool or place to eat lunch at the hotel. We also picked this hotel because WIFI and a refrigerator did not cost extra each night like the other surrounding hotels. The best part was the location, this hotel is close to everything. We didn't rent a car […] because of all the ridiculous parking fees, but were able to walk or take a cable car to anywhere we wanted to go. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Acceptable hotel - unacceptable staff"
Unbelievably incompetent concierge service. The first, a young woman, provided directions to Chinatown (a brief walk) that routed us through strip joints and sex shops. Great except that my wife and daughter were there. One of the "callers" out in front of one place even told us that it was fun for the whole family. Unbelievable. Not only was the concierge […] completely unfamiliar with restaurants in the city, she knew nothing of the streets or how to get to them. The second concierge, an older woman, was not much better. When leaving I asked for directions to Lombard Street on our way to the airport. She indicated that Lombard was closed to traffic (which it wasn't) and seemed to figure out the map while I stood there. She knew that one of the highways was closed but wasn't sure which one and routed me around the city and told me to look for signs to the airport. As it turns out the highway was closed in the Northbound Lanes and not the Southbound (the way to the airport). I expect much better concierge service from a hotel in this price range. The front desk staff was equally useless as the concierge and only seemed to be good at making keys. The only redeeming element of the hotel staff was the maid service. Our rooms were cleaned promptly and professionally. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

I was very happy with the hotel, the staff, and the location. You can walk to many restaurants, including those at Fisherman's Wharf. Conveniently located. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice warm daily breakfast (for a small upcharge - worth it). On site parking is convenient (a little pricy at $46 / day with tax). Rooms are nice, clean. There is public transportation to get you anywhere in SF. We took bus to AT&T ball park. Took almost an hour in traffic. "Street noise but close proximity to activities"
First stay in San Fran. Nice hotel - close to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Lombard St. & Ghiradelli Square. Pretty noisy -- street noise, delivery trucks, etc. Hotel staff (front lobby) was "ok" -- could have been friendlier.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is a great hotel to serve as a base camp if you plan to go out and see San Francisco on a budget. It is close to the Wharf, as well as transit, Walgreens, Trader Joe's and other grocery stores. In addition the rooms have nice coffee/tea makers and small refrigerators.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Not too Bad"
Not too bad for a night considering the cost. Weird that it's two story but has no elevator. Toilet was partially clogged and the bus guy first said we'd hv to wait till the next day because they had no maintenance guy on duty. After "explaining" to him that wasn't going to cut it he brought me a plunger, which he had no idea how to use. I used it and […] it unclogged. Temp is on a timer and the air cut back off after midnight. Had to get up and reset it to get room to cool back down. Other than all this it was fine! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Service at hotel is friendly and efficient in all areas. The concierge helped us locate places and things we were looking for several times. At the end of a long day when we were looking at the wine list in the hotel the server […] overheard us talking about the type of wine we wanted which was not on the wine list and she let us know that she could get us the type of Chardonnay we were discussing.
