Room attractive, clean, and very quiet even though right off freeway. We were visiting friends in Lake Oswego, also working on my computer for several hours a day. Wifi worked fine, there was a comfortable desk & chair, bed very comfortable with adjustable firmness, and nice flatscreen TV. Seemed like the best of the hotels in the area. Breakfast buffet […] was pretty good, also walking distance to Starbucks and some other decent restaurants. Staff was gracious. No outdoor pool area, most pools in Portland hotels are indoors, but otherwise delightful. This would have been very convenient to Portland as well. Terrific for the price, with weekend discount. This hotel was perfect for our trip to Portland. It was a short drive from the airport and then only 15 mins or less to downtown. It also has great restaurants across the street and the breakfast at the hotel was way better than the average continental one. You can even get made to order meals if you ask. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Room smelled like smoke and was definately dated. No efforts by staff to fix the problem. No fan in the bathroom, burn marks in carpet. Breakfast was okay, but not worth the extra charge.

Overall- Great Only item is your need for better "SIGNAGE". No sign indicating where parking ramp is. No sign inside indicating which elevator goes to the basement acees to the garage. All an anoyance in an otherwise nice Hotel.

Attitude of the front desk person who insisted I did not have a reservation when i was already in the room for a night. Somehow she felt it was important that i realize it was not her fault and therefore I made a mistake. Her comment that my room could be rented out didn't help.

My room was very comfy and cozy. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. The Desk was very functional and the Free WIFI was Super easy to access and came on instantly every time I opened my computer. The pool and hot tub were the perfect size. The fitness equipment was new and very high quality.

We are a family with two children and made a trip to Portland to visit some sights. We found the location to be fantastic, easily accessible to I-5 and 217. We were concerned when we booked about the proximity to the freeway and possibly getting a lot of traffic noise, but were very pleased when we saw that the hotel is set back off the freeway and […] we did not hear any traffic noise at all. My sons (age 1 and 5) love the pool. Crib available for free is a bonus. Easy access to the city without the hassle. Small refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast buffet has freshly made waffle. Many family-friendly restaurants and Trader Joe's nearby. Safe neighborhood. Would stay here again if coming back.

We were told we could check in early at 2:00 p.m. and when we did, we went to our room. Someone walked in on us within about 10 minutes. There was no knock or any "Maid Service," or anything. We found that a bit odd.

Very nice hotel. Slept terribly the first night as I didn't know the firmness of the mattress was adjustable til the second night. Found out accidentally then, thank God! This hotel looks nice from the outside and is in a nice neighborhood, but the rooms are very outdated. In our bathroom the shower head was coming out of the wall and the electrical outlets were not flush with the wall. Also the grout on the bathroom floor was very dirty. Everything was very satisfactory, the bed and the shower and having a reading chair with a proper light and a beautiful view. Also loved the chocolate chip cookies every afternoon when I returned to my room. I will be returning.

I had only one negative issue water turned brown in the toilet and water out of the faucet had to spend one night at a friends house didn’t want to clean up or brush my teeth with this water didn’t ask for a credit but it would have been nice i have stayed here about 10 times. Charles

Everything about my stay was enjoyable. Comfy beds, adult size bath towels. Snacks, drinks, and fresh cookies in reception area, general decor and ambiance, all good. I did not take advantage of the breakfast buffet or made to order breakfasts as I felt they were over-priced.

Very nice hotel. Got a GREAT rate through Expedia and didn't get snobbed by the front desk when we checked in using the Expedia Confirmation number. (This happens regularly!) I have a disabled daughter and the hotel was fully accessible.

Very accommodating to our large group made up of several families with small children. The staff was attentive and provided when we had needs. I did not give a five as the hotel is older so there was some issues with hearing other guests in the room joining and guests out in the hallway. There were efforts made to modernize. THIS HOTEL IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITES. THE STAFF IS SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, THE ROOMS ARE VERY NICE, AND IT IS IN QUITE A CONVENIENT LOCATION.
