Pros: great location right off the hwy; clean & spacious bathroom; very friendly staff; good breakfast (hot & cold)// Cons: the room curtain ("dark one") blocks only 20-25%; I had to wear an eye mask at night. Overall, very good stay; I'd stay there again.

The plumbing is terrible. The low-flow toilet had to be flushed twice and almost overflowed three times and on the last morning it did overflow. The shower doesn't drain well and by the time your ready to get out you are standing in 2-3 inches of water.

"Good value for the location"
We were on a girls trip to the wine country. The hotel offered a convenient location to get to Napa, Sonoma and San Francisco without the premium prices. Vacaville has plenty of shopping and restaurants if you need something close to the hotel. The breakfast was typical and adequate. The room was comfortable, but nothing special--dated decor, a bit of a funky smell until the air got going. I didn't realize that there was no refrigerator/microwave when I booked. Not a deal breaker, but a useful amenity.

"Great Customer Service"
Once we arrived and was all checked into our room, it was immediately noticed that the air conditioning was not working to its full capacity. The hotel immediately transferred us into another room before we even had a chance to sit down, unpack and catch our breath. What I thought would be a hassle and a long wait for front desk assistance, was taken care of immediately and the rest of the stay was fabulous. The front desk employees were very courteous and customer friendly. Koodles to Fairfield Inn by Marriott. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Fairfield Inn

"My dads 90th birthday"
I stayed at the Fairfield Inn for 3 nights as my parents live in the senior citizens homes very close by. I was very comfortable there, felt safe, and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. I will definitely stay there again.

"Very disappointed"
I was given a room for disabled on the first floor. Requested 3rd floor. They could not make a change. Room had no closet so ironing board and iron placed beside TV. Furniture was stained. No bathtub.

"Fine hotel for the price"
The room had a weird smell when we walked in - not totally unpleasant. Kind of smelled like the stuff you sprinkle on carpets before you vacuum. Breakfast was fine, pillows were AWFUL.

"Shopping getaway"
Summer break was half over and we needed to take a vacay and shop for back to school clothes so we went to Vacaville to the outlets. Our room was nice and comfortable we spent a lot of time in the pool. Everything was clean and the staff was great. Parking was good and everything was close by.

"Good hotel but nothing special"
I have only two complaints about this hotel: The room smelled like cigarette smoke when we checked in and the breakfast room has a very small number of tables and chairs. The breakfast was mediocre. They could use more parking, at least on 4th of July weekend it was at capacity. I didn't try out the pool but it looked ok. The staff allowed my husband to check-in a bit early which was nice of them.

"Did the job"
Need a quick overnight during a road trip. This hotel was well located for that - easy on and off of the freeway. Breakfast was great. The hotel seems really understaffed and our room was in need of a deep cleaning. It just was not up to par with other Marriott properties we've stayed in.

"VERY VERY VERY CLEAN"
THE CLEANEST AND MOST FRIENDLY HOTEL. I am a gold rewards member and travel and stay in a hotel at least 2 to 3 times per month. This hotel is top notch. It's near food shopping and groceries. You can't ask for more PLUS there is breakfast included :)

"very nice room for the price"
Stayed one night at the Vacaville Fairfield by Marriott. The Room was spacious, beds very comfortable, cleanliness was very evident in the bathroom and the room itself. Its location provides ample choices for a meal and shopping if you want to while away your time in the evening. The rooms are clean, quiet, economical and the experience borders on luxurious. You can't go wrong. Will stay at Fairfield inns in the future.

"Not a good place to stay"
We were there to visit our family in the area. The receptionist was very pleasant. But the room was a so so. There was no refrigerator and microwave in the room. When I asked, the reception person I talked to said it should be requested because they only gave 3 refrigerators for the standard rooms. I was really surprised because even the cheapest motels have at least a fridge in the room. The breakfast was fine but the same everyday. My grandchild was looking for waffles but there was none. The lady working there was not Sven smiling to guests. She doesn't seem happy w/ what she does. The pool's chlorine was too strong. The room'so carpet was not really clean. I will not come back to this hotel.

A little hard to find as it is tucked back on a side street with the address on the main street. It was a last minute stop on the way to SF. Adequate place. Nothing special. Clean, comfortable and quiet.

Everything was ok. Bed was comfy, room clean and water pressure for the shower was good. Tv on the desk was lower then the bed so it made it awkward to watch the tv when in bed. Plenty of places to eat and shop within a few minutes drive. Bathroom vent did not work though, so made the bathroom steamy after a shower, other then that it was good, we will definitely stay here again.

"Walking Distance to Shopping Outlets"
Front desk employee gave us a room on the First Floor as we requested. Very kind and accommodating night-shift front desk employee opened the kitchen for me to heat up my food in their microwave. Breakfast is included in the price of the room, breakfast is just o.k. but better than no breakfast. Plain but clean hotel that is located near the Vacaville Shopping Outlets.

"Not a the quality of a fairfield inn"
Pool wasn't available. ...staff was a little rude...hotel was run down....breakfast was okay....the maid staff stole my child's DS game....When question they produced a old makeup bag...not the same thing....not a happy costumer will not stay again the Hoilday Inn & suites across the street was a whole lot nicer and better.
