Overall hotel is very nice,good location, nice food. Disapointments - air con didnt work well and the bar dounstairs was too loud at night. But anyway i would recomend this hotel.

This hotel, one of the first luxury entrants to Marrakesh, beautifully fit my needs for attending a business conference at a nearby ultra luxury hotel. It has a fantastic pool, the service is great, and breakfast buffet run very nicely. A fantastic garden and choice of restaurants made things for my visit easy. One thing to note - it seems that many of the guests are there on holiday/or a package tour. We stayed in a Superior room, very clean, very spacious. Only complaint was that the bed was a bit hard, therefor uncomfortable for me, caused a bit of back pain and it was small. I'm 5'3" and my feet were at the edge of the bed. The staff was very courteous, and you were served chocolate and a bottle of water every night at 6PM. I stayed there for a few days in August 2011. The outside portion of the hotel is fabulous. However, the room is nowhere near what I was expecting for a 5 stars hotel. More like a 3 stars. Breakfast was great and room service decent. Staff good.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel. Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Walking through the hotel in the evening is a dream, the garden smells delicious! Extra plus, a wonderful cooking class to with their friendly chief.

The hotel is located at Hivernage, which is one of the modern districts of the city, mostly with hotels. The area is very safe, and just a 20 min walk to Jema El Fnaa square. A taxi ride costs 2€. There are banks near where you can withdraw cash safely, or you can exchange at the hotel cashier, on a very fair rate. The hotel staff is helpful, corteous […] and friendly. The property is a bit aged and is more a 4 stars than 5, but the service level compensates. The breakfast is good, but after a few mornings it gets boring, as the selection is always the same. You can't miss the moroccan bread, made at the moment, delicious!!! The pool is excellent. People in Morocco is very friendly, warm and open for the tourists. It's a safe place to travel with kids. We travelled with our 9-year son and we had a great time. Walk around the Medina could seem stressful, but is safe, and people there are respectful and love kids. Moroccan food is excellent, and you have excellent restaurant choices inside the Medina, but if you are looking for international food, you have to go to Guèliz. Also, if you go to Marrakech, you HAVE to go for a Hamman. There are plenty, but go for the most expensive (for tourists, more the kind of attention you would be looking for). We simply didn't feel good at this hotel, primarily because of noise from the road, uncomfortable bed, and because the rooms were quite worn down. Even thought it's supposed to be a 5 star hotel, there's no minibar. Nice, but not very enthusiastic staff. Breakfast very average.

A tired (dated) 5star hotel that enjoys add on costs that would normally be included in a 5star hotel. ,ie use of internet, telephone calls (local). etc. etc. Poorly equipt mini bar £3.50 for a small bag of nuts. Entrance, grounds and staff fantastic. Rooms ok, and situated in blocks which feel a bit less luxurious. Breakfast great (especially helpful staff), but other restaurants expensive and not great - would recommend trying elsewhere. We would stay again.

The hotel is very nice, not luxurious, but well kept, has beautiful gardens and a lovely swimming pool area (the swimming pool is not heated). It also offers 4 reasonably priced restaurants that are a blessing when returning tired from a tour. The only con is that wifi is not included in the hotel rate and a daily tax either, which will add at least […] £8 to your daily bill. Nevertheless, some of these costs can be avoided by going to the cafe a minute away from the hotel which offers free wifi. I should start by saying I was travelling with 23 month old twins. Room was comfortable, though change in level between bathroom and bedroom was trip hazzard. Electrical sockets were surprisingly poorly fixed to wall. Overall the hotel was bit tired for a hotel of this class. Gardens were nicely maintained, but children's play area was a total mess […] - nice idea but trampolines covered in leaf litter etc. and there was an array of broken electrical cars and scooters that were all completely unmaintained. The play area seemed to serve mainly as a place for staff to go and have cigarette breaks and charge their mobiles (on the sockets that were presumably supposed to be used for charging the electrical cars). Food definitely not of high standard for Marrakech and seemed poor value, though breakfast (included in our rate) was good. On positive, hotel is much more spacious than the Ryads of the medina and is therefore quite family friendly. Well staffed during week (seem many fewer staff on at weekends). We had a thoroughly lovely time in Marrakech at the Meridian N'Fis. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, courteous, helpful and pleasant. It is perfect for relaxing in after being in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast is really great. Beautiful, well maintained gardens and great for kids with the children's pool and playground (charges apply). Staff very courteous and always happy to help. Breakfast fantastic especially the freshly made omelettes and Moroccan pancakes. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the charges for Wi-Fi.

The most beautiful gardens surrounded this hotel, the smell of the flowers was divine. Excellent location, super friendly staff. Food and drink very expensive but was served with such a great service it didn't really bother us!! Do not order room service we got charged £21 for 2 coffees and 2 pancakes!! I stayed here with my boyfriend for a 4 night stay. When we arrived the receptionist asked us if we had been to Marrakech before. We hadn't so we got an upgrade. We had fresh flowers in our room every day. The bed was huge, the room was very clean and beautiful. The maids work really hard. We had a Ibeautiful view of the pool and palm trees. All the […] staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The concierge were fantastic and arranged all our transfers and trips. I can highly recommend the quad bike trip in the palm groves. It was about £45 each. But well worth it! We ate a couple of times in the hotel in the Italian restaurant by the pool. The service was great and it's quite a romantic setting in the evening. The hotel is in a beautiful setting about 20 minute walk to the busy market area. We had a guide from the hotel that did us a tour and showed us all the main sites of interest to us. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. Beautiful setting, the staff go out of their way to help you and get the most out of your stay. The rooms are lovely and clean, the pool is fantastic and the customer service is second to none. Very nice especially after days of driving around the desert and over the mountains. The room was good but sparsely furnished. Service was fine but a bit distant. Food was good. Nice pool too. good for a relaxing stay but very Western. So not so good if you want to experience a greater sense of morocco - Riads' are much better for that

After arriving from a long flight and booking and paying in full on hotels.com the reception then went on to charge me an "Extra Tax" despite my booking including taxes. This was first of many hidden charges at the hotel. Including overpriced drinks, expensive and bland food at the restaurants and charges for the Hotel Sauna.
