      First, this hotel is ideally situated -- in walking distance to many key sites in Glasgow and great shopping, restaurants and theatres. The rooms are really comfortable -- spacious bedroom and bathroom, comfy quilt and pillows. And super CLEAN! The buffet breakfast is quite a spread -- cooked breakfast of sausages, eggs, baked beans, all sorts of breads, granola and yoghurt, and cheeses. Even a cappucino/latte machine and a variety of fresh juices. The best is that the welcome you receive from the front desk and their friendly help and support throughout your stay will make you feel very well looked after! I will definitely come back to this hotel again and I recommend it highly!

      Cool, modern and full of tech... which mostly worked! Couldn't turn the air conditioning off and the iPhone docking station didn't work. But the room was very modern, free wifi and movies and VERY comfortable bed. Will be back

      This hotel is located in a great area for great bars and places to eat. also a short cab to other places in center of town. This is actually like an apartment. This was a great place.......The only thing I didnt like was the breakfast, that offerened not much but charged 7 pounds, for toast... Dont get the Breakfast.

    The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Everyone was very willing to help us. The location was easy to get in and out of. The only complaints that I had were the following: We had to ask for clean towels a few times and the trash cans were not emptied every day. The internet connection was terrible. The beds were not very comfortable.

    This hotel represented a good value (including breakfast), well located option for us as a family when visiting local universities. Bathroom was well designed. The room was certainly tight for space once the sofabed was made up but comfortable for sleeping.

    I probably wouldn't stay here again because of the location. Very hard to find but we had gps so it was ok. There was really nothing around the area. The hotel itself was adequate. There is a large sitting area that was nice and the continental breakfast was ok. I wouldn't want to stay here any longer than the one night though simply because of the […] location.     Nice hotel just next to an excellent restaurant. The hotel provides whatever most other hotels have and more. Rooms are clean, comfortable with large bathroom. Breakfast could be better though and the air conditioning to provide warmth tends to rather dry up the air in the room.

    You know what to expect at this type of hotel and it didn't disappoint. The welcome form the receptionist was warm and friendly and the check in quick and efficient. The room was comfortable with a welcome selection of soft or hard pillows. It was a bit disappointing to have a small CRT tv rather than a more modern flat screen, but that's a minor point. […] The bathroom was 'compact' with only a shower.     We just came back from the Holiday Inn Express in Stirling, Scotland and although the hotel was clean, it is in much needed repair. The security lock for after main hours where you use your key to access the hotel after 11pm was ripped out with wires hanging out. We were able to enter the hotel after 11pm without any security. Perhaps this would not […] be needed in another area, but it is a bit dodgy around the hotel. The button for the elevator was broken and when on the elevator, it did not always respond to the button pushed or went to the wrong floor. It also bumped and made horrible noises that frightened my 8 year old son so much that we did not take the elevator after our first trip to the room. The free internet was only supposed to be available in the main room beside the reception, but it did not work at all. We had to pay for internet in the room.
