First, this hotel is ideally situated -- in walking distance to many key sites in Glasgow and great shopping, restaurants and theatres. The rooms are really comfortable -- spacious bedroom and bathroom, comfy quilt and pillows. And super CLEAN! The buffet breakfast is quite a spread -- cooked breakfast of sausages, eggs, baked beans, all sorts of breads, […] granola and yoghurt, and cheeses. Even a cappucino/latte machine and a variety of fresh juices. The best is that the welcome you receive from the front desk and their friendly help and support throughout your stay will make you feel very well looked after! The hotel was reasonable close on foot to the train stations and was a good base for exploring. It was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good. The hotel staff was helpful and knowledgeable but did not go out of their way to make us feel valued as guests. The breakfast was not very good and the restaurant staff a bit rude. Staff were mostly very helpful and the room was always sparkling clean. Small rooms with very little storage space, small but efficient bathrooms, street noise wasn't bad for second floor room, but the road was partially closed during our stay! Very convienant to shopping and restaurants, a practical choice, no luxuries here!

In thee weeks of touring Ireland and Scotland, the Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Theaterland was the best hotel we stayed in. Everything about it was as close to perfect as possible.

The hotel was centrally located - close to train stations and shopping. It was clean and the service was good. The rooms are a bit small according to American standards. The beds have a soft matress. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Great value for the money.

PARTY OF 48 PEOPLE ON A RUGBY TOUR, HOTEL MANAGEMENT SUPERB NOTHING A PROBLEM FOR THEM, LOCATION SPOT ON FOR NIGHT ON THE TOWN. BREAKFAST A BIT OF A LET DOWN BUT YOU CAN'T EXPECT TOO MUCH WITH SUCH A GREAT PRICE. WOULD USE AGAIN.

The stay was strictly alright. I can't write or rate about service because there was no room service at all. Some of the basic things like electric iron & board were not in the room and we were supposed to get them from reception. Probably this is the first hotel I had been where they don't have room service.

Travelled to Glasgow by bus and only a few minutes walk to hotel. Passed Holiday Inn on way , Holiday Inn Express about a hundred yards up the hill. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at this hotel before and it is always excellent. Reception service was first class. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast choice and quality was also excellent. I enjoyed my stay and will be back. The only problem I had was with the key which operated the lift and this was resolved quickly with a new key.

Booked a twin room for my friend and myself for a concert at secc . Staff were happy to book us a taxi to pick us up from hotel to our destination. Room was lovely and very clean . I have stayed at the Theatreland Holiday Inn Express on two occasions now. Both experiences were excellent. Hotel staff exceptionally helpful. Organised meal reservations and taxis to take us to SECC. NCP car park straight across the road. Disabled parking right at the door and I was moved to a disabled friendly room to accommodate my mother when we […] checked it. Hadn't requested it as she can get out of her chair but it was a lot easier. Only down point is in the restaurant for breakfast. There is no rack for your tray so you have to do a balancing act with tray and plates to get your sausage egg and beans on to a plate. A small shelf in front of the hotplate would be so much easier. the room was chilly on my arrival and the tiles in the bathroom are pretty cold to stand on. There was a fire evacuation the evening of my stay, but the staff were helpful and courteous and our safety was paramount. I have stayed there and will again.
