Great hotel, great staff, very clean room, great breakfast.....COLD showers. Even when the water warmed up it was barely warm and the shower head is terrible with very low pressure. I can honestly say that the shower is the ONLY bad thing about this place.

Had to go about 4 miles off our route, though the hotel was very easy to find. No real choices in restaurants; we ate next door and they had no other customers at peak dinner hour - so the food was below par - but that might also have to do with the fact that this is a dry (liquor-free) area. The hotel itself appeared clean and well kept. Parking is a breeze but the rooms were a little outdated. The bedspreads were old and the sheets had old cigarette holes in them. There isn't much else around this area but for the money I expected more from the room.

Imagine my suprise when I arrived to find our room was on the second floor and there was NO elevator! And the hotel could not/would not move us to the first floor. We were booked for six nights & needed a fridge. Were promised a fridge would be brought to our room "tomorrow". Returned to find no fridge. Called front desk. No maintenance people on duty. […] Promised "tomorrow" once again. I had gone to the grocery store so the hotel clerk went to a room, got a fridge, put on the dumb waiter to get it to our room. This location was very clean and the area was very quiet. It was a little further to the atractions than I first wanted but wasnt to bad. It was worth the drive for the quiiet and comfort of the motel. The resaurants near the hotel where nice and the food was good.

Too bad this is the best hotel in the area. I've stayed in a 4 start hotel in Dallas for cheaper price, but there were not alternatives so I can't complain too much. Friendly staff, only problem I had was with the cleanliness of the hotel. As soon as you walk in, it smells like mildew. There is an indoor pool and carpet throughout...bad combination. […] I witnessed a customer get snapped at by the manager, and the manager told him to call the 800 number to complain.
