This motel is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good and the employee did a fantastic job keeping it well stocked. The one complaint I had was a very dirty bath mat and this should not have happened in a motel of this quality.

The hotel was excellent and clean and very large and the staff was the most helpful and accommodating to us that we have ever experienced while staying in hotels. They had eggs, bacon, pancakes, juice, rolls, bagels, coffee, cereal, oats, apples, bananas and it was a big money saver. This is my third stay here. Overall, it was fine, but it had slipped a bit. Hostesses not as friendly and at times no one was a desk. Room not cleaned until 2 pm and I had to ask for that. No butter for toast. Quality of breakfast had dropped. They forgot my wake up call. Motel was clean.

Not worth it! I paid for 2 suites for 2 nights. Way too much! This "suite" was basic small room. It was small. Not worth the money! Otherwise only complaint: no lotion in bathrooms. The front desk was very very attentive to everyone coming & going. Good hearts to serve.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Even though a wedding was also scheduled at the hotel I had no difficulties. Construction on the main road made it difficult to find the entrance but hopefully this will improve soon.

Stayed one night for a baseball tournament. Hotel was close to and easy access to Expressway Park where tournament was being held. Staff was friendly and courteous when checking in. The hotel […] clerk told me that all rooms DO NOT include a refrigerator/microwave and that I wasn't the first to have this problem and that Hotels.com needs to correct their website. Kudos to the staff of this property for taking care of my needs since Hotels.com couldn't. The breakfast was good (I had biscuits/gravy). There is a sports bar/restaurant (Roosters) across the parking lot with good food and friendly staff. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Milford area, nothing real fancy but more than adequate for a night's stay. Read more

I would've given this hotel a better rating if it weren't for the heating and air unit. The first night it was fine. The second night it started squeaking and rattling so loudly that we couldn't sleep. So, we had to turn off the a/c which made the room seem stuffy, too warm, and noisy. (When the unit was running the previous night, it drowned out most […] all the highway noise.) So, our first night I would rate nicely, but the second night was disappointing. We mentioned this at checkout the next morning... but were not offered anything for our sleepless night (partial refund/coupon for a future night, etc). That was disappointing. We stayed in Room 305 over Easter weekend (April 6-8, 2012). Other than that, the pool was nice and warm, breakfast was nice, room looked nice. Apparently they just need to update their a/c units. I wish the unit had started squeaking during the day and we could've switched rooms (which would've been a huge hassle with kids and all their stuff, but at least we could've got some sleep!) If I have another option, I would definitely try that hotel next time. The overall experience is ok-ok. Hotels.com booked a room which has fridge, microwave inside the room but when I checked in, there was nothing. I had to call the front desk and their first response was hotel.com does mention lots of things like that but it is actually not true. But […] as I have that on record, they provided the microwave. Next day I got the fridge. One of the phone lines was dead. A bulb was fused. The chair was not comfortable and I could not adjust to my height to sit and do some stuff. So, maintenance was not good at all. However, the hotel room and corridor was clean. Breakfast did not have enough choice for me. But, it was not bad. I could live with that. The entrance of the hotel is confusing. If you have a GPS, it will be okay. The bed is not that great like a Marriott room. The pillows are little harder. After 4th night I started having neck pain. The wireless connection dropped a few times. It worked in a specific place of the room but not from everywhere, If I have another option next time, I would definitely try the other option. Read more

My wife and I always return for nice, long, romantic anniversary weekends. The rooms are always super clean. The amount of cars in the lot would suggest the hotel was "jam-packed", yet our room is always quiet and we've never heard any "neighbors". The heat/ac works great to warm things up or cool things down quickly. The wait staff is always friendly […] and attentive. They even had my wife's favorite merlot waiting for us. I was Highly impressed with this hotel. It smelled clean and was clean. The staff were very friendly. It was one of the nicer hotels I have stayed in and was reasonably priced. The only thing I didn't like was the Televisions are older models but it was not a detracting factor.

I specifically requested adjacent rooms for my family members and -I which the desk had no record of upon check in. We ended up being on different floors instead of nearby each other. As I sat in the lobby, 2 couples entered, without reservations,and were given rooms next to each other. HMMMM??? The "heated pool"left us shivering uncontrollably- we […] "unenjoyed" it for a total of about 5 minutes before we could not stand it another second. ...and there was no hot tub as was requested when reservations made. The desk personnel indicated that specific info/services requested by customers are never passed along to the facility itself by your organization...even your clients are bad-mouthing you-and I'm not surprised! This Holiday Inn is a step above the typical 3 star hotel. The maid service was exceptional and the hotel was very quiet and clean. Room was surprisingly large. The representative running the desk when we checked in was fielding two phone calls and contending with multiple errors with on-line booked reservations (everyone requesting a non-smoking room was marked as requesting a smoking room. He ended up having to change multiple rooms for people. We were extremely thankful he was able to change our room since […] we have smoke allergies in my family.) He was so considerate and nice. The next morning, we decided we wanted to stay and extra night and the morning representative was equally helpful in finding us one of the two remaining available rooms for that night. We chose this hotel because of the location, the listed hotel room accomodations and the price. The Expedia listing for this room displayed two identical listings for a double Queen Room. I checked what was included in the room and included was a refrigerator, microwave, iron,... After I booked the room and received the confirmation email the the confirmation […] showed the room booked was a smoking room. I went back and checked the hotel listing on the expedia site and neither listing for the souble queen room said anything about a smoking room. After a multiday hassle the reservation was changed to a nonsmoking without penalty. We arrived at the hotel, checked in and went to the room which was fine except that there was no regrigerator or microwave in the room. We inquired at the front desk and the person there indicated that he thought they had some upstairs but there was no maintenance person present to get it. Then we were told that only certain rooms came with refrigerator and microwave. Rechecking the Expedia website every reference to the room accomodations clearly listed a microwave and refrigerator. The room was fine and the breakfasts were excellent, no complaints there. I just found it very frustrating that the website listing for the hotel room details was not accurate. Read more

Hotel had a nice breakfast. Hotel was clean. Pool nice but floor around pool very slippery. My granddaughter slipped and her father slipped also. The beds were clean but the mattress aegged in the middle-- so you kept ontop the other person all night. Rates were great for area and convient to shopes and restraunts.

This hotel is always a good stay. They have an indoor pool, excercise room and provide a great complimentary morning breakfast. Too most important is they have blackout curtains.

Hotel is clean, continental breakfast is nice. It closes at 9:30 a.m., would be better if it stayed open longer. If you are sensitive to traffic noise, ask to stay in rooms opposite the highway.

There was no fridge in the room. There was an evident layer of dust around the edge of the wall on the carpet. A wall edger sweeper would get rid of that problem. This is a decent hotel - clean, comfortable rooms and in a good neighborhood. One thing - YOU MUST GET A ROOM ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. The odd number rooms are on the highway and you can hear EVERYTHING. Be sure to request a room on the other side. Also, the pool is not heated... very bad for winter :(
