This hotel is perfect if you are going to the O2 to see a concert which is what I did. It's a 10-15 minute walk up the road. Hotel has everything you would need and includes free breakfast.

Excellent hotel, the best hotel to stay at if going to the o2, 10mins walk, felt very safe even in the dark. Rooms nicely presented, clean and tidy. Good breakfast included. £7 to park. Would definately stay again.

Really good place to stay for o2- walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Slight oversight as bed hadn't been made up for my son, but this was done as soon as we asked. Good breakfast. I would stay again.

Stayed with my 2 cousins , No complaints apart from the shower in the bathroom being a bit on the small side, I also grudged paying an extra £25 for a 3rd person.

This hotel was very comfortable to stay in, only have 2 things that I had a problem with, one was that they didn't really tell you how to turn the lights on in the room, this may sound silly but we finally worked out that you had to but the card to open the door into it.! ! The second issue is the price that they charge at their vending machine, you […] pay all that money to stay in their hotel and then they think it is okay to charge £1.50 for a packet of crisps and £1 for a twix or chocolate bar, when you are hungry what else can you do. Stained carpets, no coffee in room, staff slow to respond to requests, mould in bathroom, smell from drains in bathroom, constant noise from air conditioning unit even when fan switched off, overpriced.

Their computers were running very slow & had some other problems so my key card didn't work in the elevators & the room door but a quick call to reception and a receptionist came straight up with 2 other keys which both worked. A fantastic location in Greenwich, just 7 - 10 minutes walk from the O2. A safe neighborhood to walk in when a concert or O2 event is over. Staff were very helpful. My daughters and I attended a gig at the 02, the hotel is in walking distance of the venue which was fantastic after the event. The staff were helpful and the room clean and met our needs. I often stay in budget hotels for work and Holiday Inn Express was far better than the other chains I have used recently. This was our 2nd stay and it was significantly better than the one 2 years ago where the room was pretty average and the service ok. This time both the room and service were good. Our room was quite large and, as it had a wet room, I assume it was for disabled access so no idea whether that is now standard throughout the hotel? But it was comfortable […] and relatively quiet (considering the traffic you'd expect in this area!). Particularly liked the fact that both 'soft' & 'firm' pilllows were provided - and labelled as such. Nice touch. Breakfast is self serve & limited but adequate - although as a vegetarian it would have been nice to have something to accompany my scrambled egg & beans - mushrooms for instance. On the plus side only 15 min walk to the O2. However poor maintanence of room, air conditioning broken, sink plug didnt work and no knob on shower so unable to adjust height. We also did not receive any room service.

There really are no other hotels near so was very happy that this is literally a 10 minute walk to the Hotel from the 02 (about 15 minutes from the Tube). The hotel is a fantatsic stone throw away from the O2 arena, a must stay for concert trips. Prices are good, rooms are big, clean and quiet. I'm not sure on what else can be done around the area as we was only there an evening to watch a concert, however a tesco's is in walking distance, for those who don't want to eat in the hotel. I was not able to claim BA miles for this stay as the receptionist did not have facilities to swipe my BA card. I had to follow up with BA separately...and still waiting. Dissapointing for a hotel based on London.

on arrival was greeted by staff with a smile and a welcome.. entrance was nice and clean. all areas were a clean. every one was relaxed . The room was nice and tidy every thing we needed.we. ran out of milk so went to Reception. the man working there was more than happy to give me more milk. . The hotel is a must if you going to the o2. i stayed here […] after the concert well worth it. Breakfast was nice. One Guy was very happy and helpful with the sitting arrangements. , made us feel special with his chirrpy ways. The only downside to breakfast was the hot buffet. We were going to the 02 for the x factor auditions and we wanted to be as close to the venue as possible so witth all the good reviews for The Holiday Inn we decided to book a family room, and we were not disappointed, the rooms were very comfortable and quiet, we had early mornings and not late nights and it was so nice to have a good nights sleep […] with no noise whatsoever. Tired; shabby hotel. Rooms very small; smallest double bed I have ever seen. Appalling breakfast. Overall a very poor hotel; and very expensive. They even charge for parking when you stay there, which is ridiculous, considering how high their room rate is for a small pokey double room.

A fantastic Chinese restaurant on the ground floor. The hotel is only 10-15 minute walk from the 02 Arena. But there is nowhere to cross a busy dual carriageway - although the traffic for the Arena is virtually at a stand still in one direction at least.

The TV was a dated small portable and kept jumping all the time, we found this annoying. Also breakfast only consisted of sausages and eggs, no bacon or tomatoes, this may have been due the bad weather we dont know.
