First day, boiler out, no hot water for showers, etc. Days 2 and 3, no TV while they switched to digital (no notice, just lies). And to top it off, a serious computer virus that staff ignored even after advised. Convenient location for our needs, but will never stay there again. Lies, excuses, poor maintenance, and obvious disdain for customers.

We stayed here one night in March for the Ft. Myers Reading Festival. This hotel was just okay. When we booked, we were told we'd have two beds. When we arrived though, the hotel staff informed us we were getting the last room in the hotel and it was handicap accessible (which we don't need) and just contained a king bed. We were not happy about this, […] but upon arriving in the room, we learned there were actually 2 beds, so the staff was (thankfully) misinformed. The room was all right, but the breakfast didn't look as good as we were expecting, and the dining area was rather small, so we decided to just get Chick-fil-a (mmm, chicken minis) instead. We've stayed at nicer Holiday Inns, and if we return for the event next year, we'll probably choose a different hotel. Read more

A little weary and run-down, especially since it is quite costly. Not nearly enough room to eat breakfast, and staff did not seem at all concerned when we mentioned that the shower handle would not stay up and that the toilet did not flush properly.

Arrived late and the front desk was helpful in offering a place to catch a nice dinner nearby. Booked here mainly for the breakfast selections. Plenty of options to pick from even with allergies to avoid. Pillows on the bed were really nice. Both of us awoke well rested.

The 2nd floor plumbing appears to have issues because several rooms did not flush correctly. Staffs answer to this problem was to provide us with plungers. Next morning, several rooms had plungers outside of the room doors. Breakfast was self service and staff was very slow to replenish empty platters.

Overall very pleasant stay . Comfortable room, pretty good breakfast , nice location . I wouldn't count on the desk staff for restaurant recommendations . When we asked the young woman directed us to Perkins !! The elevator was incredibly slow and all the amenities are on the first floor . We ended up taking the stairs more often than not . The good: breakfast is better than most, clean, convenient. The bad: tolerate noisy customers (i.e. a hockey team that drank, cursed and made noise past midnight), didn't answer the phone when I called down to complain (or on 3 other occasions regarding other questions or problems).

Stayed at the hotel on a business trip and chose the hotel due to cost. I was looking for a lower cost alternative- many of the hotels in the area are pricey. My room - with 2 queen beds - did not have a writing desk. Most any business traveler would expect a room with a desk to work from. It had a small circular table with 2 upholstered chairs. Pretty useless to me. Otherwise a nice hotel and good amenities.

Overall, everything was fine. Hotel and room were clean. Parking is in rear of hotel so I had to spend time with my key card trying to get the door open at night. Door could be tempermental and sometimes took several tries to open. Biggest issue was the "in-room" wifi. It didn't work at all. I informed the staff on multiple occasions of the problem […] and it was not resolved. I was able to use the wifi in the lobby, but this was inconvenient when I wanted to work on my computer for several hours in the evening doing school work. There were many interruptions of people coming and going through the lobby. Location is convenient to many attractions in the area including Corkscrew Swamp, Ding Darling and Shark Valley. Not too far from the beaches. Not a huge selection of restaurants in the immediate area, but there is a grocery store nearby for grab and go snacks. Complimentary breakfast was fine for my needs. Toast, bagels, juice, hot dish, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, milk, cereal, coffee and tea. Also had hard-boiled eggs every day. The one time I tried them, they were quite tough and not appetizing at all. Nic hotel. Only negative was sink is outside the bathroom, and they gave only one bar of soap. So you had to keep switching between shower and sink. Easy to fix IF you can catch a maid!

I stayed here because it is somewhat cheaper than other hotels in the area. I just need a place to sleep for the night, in late and out early. My parents live in N. Naples and we stay at this hotel when we visit them. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The free breakfast is adequate. This is a "no frills" hotel. There is no exercise facility except a small outdoor pool. It is in a commercial area. Fitzgeralds restaurant and Mel's Diner as well as a Perkins are very close by. We stay for the 4th of July weekend. Hotel is only miles to the beach. Beautiful area. One of the things I was not happy with was in the morning went to the breakfast and the person in charge of setting the breakfast was watching some boxing in spanish on the TV, in my opinion it should have been on the news or sports.
