Old, dated facility. Price seem high at all hotels in the surrounding area. 4:30 A.M. un-asked for wake up call, was very unappreciated. Then hotel staff would not accept responsibility. Blamed the "phone system".

I was pleasantly surprised here, as I got a really good deal and didn't expect much. The staff was friendly, room was clean, and the free continental breakfast was more than most places offer, especially the french toast and sausage. Very close to Highways 15 and 86, and just a couple minutes from Corning, which is where I spent my time while there. […] My only complaint is that there's no elevators. The staff was exceedingly friend especially considering it was a holiday weekend. Rooms and property were old but clean. Needs some updating and minor repairs. Walls reflect every sound and showers and other noises were heard easily in adjoining rooms.

We had a nonsmoking room on the first floor about three rooms from the lobby. The lobby, the hallway & the breakfast room, reeked of stale smoke. The room did not smell of smoke. Luckily.

The management was extremely friendly, the breakfast was excellent. I was surprised with the sausage, hard boiled eggs, french toast and hot ready-to-make belgium waffles. It was worth the extra drive and I would do it again. It was clean, quiet, pleasant, and the complimentary movie popcorn - who could ask for more?

WE spent two nights at this hotel. never saw any one at the front desk. Did not see any one for help . Our bed was hard as a rock . They really need to get new mattresses. The blanket on the bed was old. the shampoo,soap and lotion was an off brand,cheap and small. you almost had enough had enough to wash your hair.The breakfast offered was in a very […] small room, could not get around tables with out bumping in to some one. Comparison was more with few other options nearby where i stayed earlier. Overall experience was better, so was breakfast. Located close by to fast food and Walmart plus is very motorable from Corning attractions like Museum of Glass etc. Cleanliness is good and the staff is friendly. Is also a decent drive from Glen Watkins park.

The hotel was nice & quiet, since it is a quarter mile or more from the highway. Bedroom was exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped (there was a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker.) The mattress was extremely comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The guy in the evening was super friendly and interested in sharing local information […] and hearing everyone's story. The staff was very friendly!!! The hotel needs some updating but was fine for an overnight stay. Had in room fridge and microwave along with DVD player. At the front desk you could borrow DVD's from a wide selection of 100+ choices all for free!! They included free popcorn and cookies in the lobby!

We had stayed here a couple of years ago and we enjoyed it then. It was a different stay from what we expected. Nothing bad but the room looked as if it needed some extra tlc. It needs updating but the staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent.

I have traveled to this hotel twice alone. This hotel is nice and clean. The staff is very nice. Although I had to leave early in the morning and had to wait a few moments for someone to come back from their break to check out. I got a little nervous in the morning when I was leaving and realized that all of the other patrons seemed to be burly single […] men and I'm a young woman, but it all worked out okay. Breakfast there is great. You can adjust the heating/cooling in your room to your liking. Perfect location for runners of the wineglass marathon in corning NY. Excellant desk workers friendly. Marathon morning the staff opened the breakfast room early to accomindate runners that needed to get to the busses to the start.

The Econo Lodge was a good deal for the cost. It was the lowest cost in the area and had some nice amenities. Free WiFi, a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. This is a great place with a very reasonable cost. The continental breakfast is pretty good & the areas around it is wonderful. It's close to the highway, so driving to places won't be so hard to do. You also have stores and restaurants nearby :).

Overall the staff was courteous, the included breakfast was ok - waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal. But, unfortunately the room smelled like dead mice were in the walls - Once the air was turned on, the smell subsided a bit. The rooms are also far from soundproof, so it you are a light sleeper, forget it.

Nicely located, with easy access to highways and other creature comforts, and reasonably priced make this a logical choice. I especially liked the microwave and refrigerator in the room! The best part is that I could bring my dog, the second best part is that they have delicious cookies (complimentary) available in the lobby in the evenging. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and the continental breakfast was more than just cereal and bagels. I would definitely stay again!
