The hotel and rooms were great but to get tissue and towels in our room was a job! The didn't bring fresh towels or tissue on the morning of our departure even after I asked!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was kept very clean. It's not as nice as the Drury Inn in San Antonio but, its still very nice. There is an addition under construction but, it really didn't affect our stay.

It was a good stay at this hotel. Hotel security was good. One thing that I want to mention... Breakfast! They said breakfast serve time is 6~9AM, but actually it started 7 AM and I had to wait for an hour. :(

I had stayed at this hotel before so I knew what to expect. Free food in the am and pm along with drinks, great staff service, free parking, nice gym, and clean and nice rooms...all for an awesome price!! I would definitely recommend this hotel for others.

Very nice and friendly staff - enjoyed the popcorn and soda in the lobby - Very impressed with the wide variety of food offered in the evening - We were able to stay in the hotel and not venture out for dinner after a long day of traveling - This was a wonderful surprise and very nice "treat" and greatly appreciated this kind of courtesy. Even with ongoing construction, this was one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed in. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and always helpful. It was also a great location-easy walking distance to French Quarter and Warehouse District.

I came to NO for a conference. This hotel was perfect. It is right in the heart of the business district (near the superdome). The hotel it beautiful, the staff is friendly and the service is excellent. There is a very nice breakfast buffet included, and there are even free hor dourves and drinks in the evening (although I never made it there for that). […] After my conference my wife flew in for a couple of days of vacation. We moved hotels to be a little closer to the french quarter. That was a big mistake. THe price was higher and the room was not as nice. The breakfast was not as good and no hor dourves or drinks. To top it all off, in was only once I got to NO (having pre-paid the new hotel) that I realized the the drury is a perfectly comfortable, less than ten minute walk to the French quarter. Read more

The Drury Inn New Orleans was a great place for a business traveler. Staff were friendly and helpful (Chris at the front desk and Jacque the manager). Check in and check out were quick and easy. Hotel room was large and clean and had no smells. The hotel seems in beautiful condition. Free WiFi is a nice touch. Valet parking seemed a little expensive […] since there were no other options ($28 per night), but what can you do? The free hot breakfast, free light dinner, and free soda and popcorn at night are all welcome additions. Close to the Superdome and right in the heart of New Orleans, Drury Inn was a great stay and highly recommended. Read more

We enjoyed our stay atthe Drury Inn on Poydras Street in New Orleans. We were actually surprised to find out about the variety of breakfast and evening meals. Was not expecting such a great "spread". A real nice touch that I have not seen at other hotels. The only comlaint I have is seeing guests with dogs in the hotel. Dog hair got on my clothes and […] shoes everytime I got in the elevator or walked through the hallways. Don't like the pet-friendly environment, definitely takes away from the ambience of the hotel. Judging from the reviews of the hotel I did expect it to be fabulous. That being said I have very few complaints. I was travelling with a child and needed a fridge and microwave and it did provide this. We had fun in the pool which was not huge but good enough. We were in New Orleans on a weekend which meant that the breakfast bar and snack bar on an […] afternoon were heavily subscribed. but the hotel staff did work at keeping things refilled on the buffet. Quality was an issue, baked goods could havebeen better quality and only fruit offered was apples. Fantastic staff, reasonable price, and lots of nice extras. Our flight got in early and they let us check into our room at 10am...by far the earliest hour any hotel has ever let me check in. Our flight home left late in the afternoon. When I asked if they would hold our luggage so we could sightsee during the day, the concierge cheerfully offered to […] let us stay in our room until 3pm, free of charge. Free breakfast is a nice touch and the food is fine. I mostly had oatmeal or cereal, yogurt, and fruit. They also had hot breakfast which I didnt try, thoUgh other guests seemed to enjoy it. The room was neat and nicely decorated. All the staff was want and helpful and seemed to really want to make sure we had a nice stay. The only downsides ate that the pool and gym were small, especially the gym which was a small room with just two treadmills and a bike. It didn't even have mats to stretch or free weights. The location was ok for us, but be aware that it is a solid fifteen minute walk from the start of the French Quarter, thirty from its furthest edge. This may be a bit much if you aren't used to walking much, especially in the August heat. Overall I'd recommend it mostly for the great staff and clean rooms and lobby. Read more

Hotel was really great. Clean comfortable room. High celings was a nice touch. TV was good and the TV channel guide was nice to have too. The bathroom was super nice. Really clean and unique with the toilet at an angle in the corner. I know it sounds wierd but it was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. The "mixer" thing from 5:30-7:00 […] was really nice. Got to eat and drink. We had chicken strips, hot dogs, nachos, mac and cheese. There is different food on different days. Hot breakfast was really good. Eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, waffles, fruit, etc. The only reason I gave the hotel a 4 was the pool was not working at the time, BUT we were allowed to use the pool at a hotel right across the street.
