The hotel is beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. We took advantage of the late afternoon snacks and breakfast each day. The hotel staff was friendly and took care of our needs immediately. Stayed here the night before our cruise. In walking distance to everything, trollys right across the street if you don't wanna walk. Felt very safe walking around at night by the super dome with my son and hubby. Would stay there again.

It was great. We had our 4 year old granchild with us. We didn't have to leave the hotel for breakfast--It was provided with the room. The evening before from 5:30 - 7:00, the hotel provided free drinks and very heavy snacks. U must use Valet parking at $25 per night plus $3 tax. Breakfast was wonderful. You receive 3 cocktails of your choice every evening per person for free and a little happy hour with hourdeves. Shower was wonderful. Hot and strong. There is two computers for your use in the lobby.Great hotel!!

Great location, comfortable beds, and free wifi... What more do you need?!? However, I must note that they were transitioning their card system over throughout the hotel, so it was a hassle having to carry two key cards for the room & elevators. Not to mention the valets took forever and a day to bring our car down. Overall grade: A-

The location of the hotel is excellent. However I must give it only a "3" due to the extremely poor mattresses. I have stayed here three times now and each time I have gone home with a miserable backache due the extremely soft mattresses they use here. It's in a great part of town and very reasonable but I probably won't choose it again.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Marble bathroom was updated and I appreciated that there were dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and soap as opposed to the usual wasteful bottles. The Drury Inn, was the best overall hotel that we've stayed at, in New Orleans. First, the location is in walking distance to Bourbon street and is right on the street car route for connivence. Traveling with a dog the Drury was a perfect choice. They provided us with treats and bags to pick up after him and we were able to leave him in the room with no problems. My husband and I also really enjoyed the food and alcoholic drinks at the kick back and it saved us some money because we didn't have to go out and buy dinner. The Drury Inn & Suites in New Orleans is a wonderful place to stay! The staff was extremely polite & helpful, and the location was perfect! Just blocks from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, but just far enough to avoid the noise and crowds. The hotel provides countless free extras including hot breakfast everyday and a free happy hour from 5:30-7:30 […] PM daily. The one and only negative was that the rooftop pool & hot tub did not seem to be maintained on a daily basis, but our stay was during the first week of March, so it's possible that the staff was not anticipating those facilities getting much usage. Location was great - about 4 blocks from the French Quarter and a 20 min. walk to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Also 1 block to St. Charles street car to the Garden District. We were so impressed with the Drury Inn we will look for this chain when we travel. The free breakfast and light supper + happy hour drinks in the evening were more than expected. Breakfast included many choices of hot and cold food including fresh fruit. The night we had the light supper it was lettuce salad, chicken strips, baked potato, hot dogs, soup, pretzels, chips and salsa +. At check-in we were given a drink ticket for the week for each person in our room, you use these for the evening happy hour drinks - some mixed drinks, wine, beer, and pop were available. All the Drury Inn staff whom we met were so friendly and helpful. We had never heard of the Drury Inn before booking our room, so were a little unsure whether we should stay here, but relied on the great reviews and they were totally right --this was a perfect choice for us. Excellent place to stay if you are going to Super Dome or Arena. Easy walking distance to either Dome, River Walk, and Casino. I used the laundry facilities, which although convenient, did not work well and left my clothes covered in detergent. The only thing I would change would be to have a tub in the room, not just a shower.. Also we went over Christmas holidays, and wanted to use the advertised heated pool and hottub.. the pool was cool not heated and the hottub luke warm.. we were dissipointed in that.. On the upside.. I had a convention to go to while in NO, this place wasn't super close to the convention center, but half way between that and Bourbon Street. It was about a 15 minute walk to either one. I would definitely stay here again! The staff was super friendly and helpful.

A must is those extras aren't extra.. a concept that sometimes catch people's attention, specially families where I found there were a lot booked on this hotel. Parking is extra but in a reasonable price compared to other local hotels nearby. Parking is an issue in NOLA, so another good deal. Amenities that most hotels are not worry about . Hot breakfast buffet and a light-dinner offered not fancy but pretty decent, good taste, clean with alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages included. Good location, safe neighborhood. Two blocks far away from Canal St and Bourbon (French Quarter) , so it is a perfect quiet location!!! (business areas). Good price good deal. From housekeeping staff to manager is an A+ hotel.
