The hotel staff were very pleasant to work with. We forgot our toothpaste and the receptionist went out of her way to help us by giving us some of her own personal supplies.

We needed a place during the Mickelson Bike Ride and Custer was loaded with people. We booked the Days Inn, not expecting anything too fancy. It is very nice, with new carpet, etc. Our room was great and the breakfast was very good. They even had a griddle so that you could make your own eggs. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are very worn down, we heard everything from the outside and inside of the hotel. Breakfast was bad, even the pancake dough was out and without service person not refilled. simply stay away.

Older hotel. Mattress needs updating very uncomfortable. Needs to update book keeping. Rubbed credit card with paper and pencil. Scarry these days.

The motel was older and the breakfast area was in the basement. We went down to check it out the night we arrived and their delivery was sitting in the middle of the room. The front desk was un-occupied when we arrived. We used the phone like the sign said to call an attendant, but no one came. We walked around a little and went to our car. When we […] came back in the owner was at the desk. He checked us in and even helped carry my suitcase to my room on the second floor because there is no elevator. We stayed in custer which was central to what we were doing, the town is great, walked the streets each day and night, the hotel was newly renovated, like all newly renovated places some odd smells but not bad lol. was a good clean hotel, rate was good, and staff was super.

Custer is a cool little touristy Old-Western town not far from Mt Rushmore, so it's a great place to stay if you're visiting Mt Rushmore. This was a fine low-rate motel that had been updated fairly recently. However, my room smelled very strongly of air freshener, which I am sensitive to. The room was otherwise comfortable. It was a great location right near downtown Custer. I preferred my next night camping at Custer KOA, however.

Neat little town. Close to Mount Rushmore. Enjoyed the breakfast because we could cook our own egg. Nice, cost of room was alot compared to others we have stayed at for the same price.

Breakfast was served from 6-9am where usually at days inns it is 6-10am. it was very busy at 8.30 am and people were grabbing the last of the food-no one came to relinquish the bread etc-disappointing.
