Days Inn Beach Front - Myrtle Beach

I was able to get a oceanfront room, and that was the highlight of my stay, the staff was accomadating and friendly. The only thing I did not like the smell of urine in the stairwell.

If you are looking for a hotel thats close to attractions this is the place. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is old and run down and the room was not comfortable at all. The TV and the frig was old.

i reserved beachfront, instead it was sideview:( view was upsetting..cleanliness of hotel not so great, dirt in bottom of bathtub.loud noises all thru night from construcion, doors slamming, laundry machine in hotel; sounded like tornado, etc..heater wasnt workin properly; definitely not wasnt a great choice nor quality of service.

The Days Inn was fine for just a weekend trip, but I definitely couldn't stay much longer than that. The carpets and furniture are soo dirty I wore flip flops around the room and used hand sanitizer every 5 min. The tv was broke and it took forever for them to switch it out. The sink and shower head in the bathroom were soo short (and I'm only 5'1!!) […] the shower was dirty and didn't drain so every time you showered you were standing in a puddle of dirty water. The heat was also broken so we had to wear jackets and stay bundled up under covers. I can't tell you how happy I was to get home Sunday and take a nice, hot shower at home after spending the weekend in that nasty room! The room was spacious and laid out nicely. I was a bit disappointed with the communication at the front desk in that they could have explained a couple of key issues a little better. But that is a personnel issue and a small one at that. On my next visit I will ask for an oceanfront room. This trip I didn't because I assumed they were all oceanfront […] rooms. This was, of course, my mistake. The cursory breakfast was nice. The food was fresh and presented in an appealing manner. The only other issue is the price. Based on other similar hotels/motels during the same weekend, I discovered the fee to be a touch out of line. Everything considered, on a 5 star system I would issue a 3.5. We were charged an extra $3.00 for beach maintenance we were not expecting. It was supposed to be beach front room, we got one on the side instead to where we could'nt even see the beach. The carpet felt nasty and dirty on my feet and the shower was nasty and dirty. Thank God I was only there for one night. This hotel is in the perfect location. It is a little old. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you not planning on spending alot of time in the room this is the place to stay for a weekend getaway. Reasonably priced also.

Great location, great price. Very nice hotel staff. We got the 2 queen/sleeper sofa which was very spacious and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. Only drawback is it appears smokers get oceanview while non smokers have side view which is ok but thought that was an awkward setup. Nonetheless, great vacation time.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The picture on Book It id not the same hotel.It was so unclean that I layed a towel down just to shower. This place needs to be torned down and rebuilted. I have been all over the world and never again a Days Inn. I would not have my dog in this Hotel that is how bad this place is.

Our 'suite' turned out to be two bedrooms with a refrigerator, microwave, and stove in one bedroom. The refrigerator & stove had quite a bit of exterior rust and dirt. Overall the facility seemed to need more than a thorough cleaning, more like an overhaul.
