"Comfortable and spacious rooms"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
I only needed a room for an overnight stay before reaching my destination and it was a very good choice. The shuttle arrived within 5 minutes after i called it and that's a good start if you have travelled already for over 12 hours and all you want is sleep. The room was really big and clean and it had all I needed for 1 night. The breakfast is simple but tasty, if you like pastries and oat meals. Two downsides: the aircon was too noisy so if you want to keep it on during the night you better have some earplugs with you and the night concierge guy was kind of unfriendly. The people in the morning were much better.

Fairly basic, but clean, excellent location, good free breakfast and nice size outdoor pool.
"Excellent"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 8, 2012
We were visiting our son who is training at Goodyear airport so the hotel was very convenient for us. However if you wanted to be close to the centre of Phoenix it is quite a way out. We had a suite which was fabulous. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and I would definately recommend this hotel.

The first locomotive chugged through Phoenix on July 4, 1887; this single event cemented the city’s enduring reign as Arizona’s economic hub. This rich history is on display at the Arizona Railway Museum in Chandler. A different type of economy—casino gambling—is prominent today at nearby Native American tribal lands. The Firebird International Raceway features drag racing and drag-boat racing.

The location was great! Close to many restaurants and easy access to the freeway. The breakfast was wonderful as well - eter than expected. The service was good and the rooms were clean. The beds were not as comfortable as I am used to and the rooms looked to be a bit outdated and aged. A few renovations to this property and it will be perfect

"Worth the price"
Nice property. Hide-a-bed couch in room is a nice extra
"Chandler, AZ Marriott"
The hotel was nice and the staff was excellent. I would have liked free breakfast but that was not the deal here. We picked it because of geographic location and it was really handy to be close to where we needed to be. Lots of shopping nearby.
"Nice hotel with lots around"
We had a good experience with our stay here. The only missing thing was a mini-fridge, but that's pretty minor. The staff was nice and helpful and the room and property was nice as well.
"Nice place to stay"
I was so pleased with the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the wait person was so nice. She had a warm smile and greeting. The desk clerks while efficient could use some skill at greeting a guest. Not anything to get ruffled about, but just observing. (I worked at that job years ago.) The bed was really comfortable and I was so glad about that. […] Pillows too hard but not that big a deal. All in all it was a very nice room to come back to after a day visiting family. Read more
"Marriott Light"
Great location though. Very close to nice shops and restaurants. Very convenient to freeways. I get that it's not the full Marriott but it seems like the linens have cycled through the whole chain before they end up here.
"Courtyard review"
Not a great hotel anymore. Has about a year's worth of maintenance and staff training to bring it back inline with the chain.

"Very nice hotel and great location"
We fly or drive to Phoenix and Awataukee often, visiting our daughter and her family. We've tried all the local hotels and decided to try this one, even though it doesn't have the complimentary breakfast. This is a very nice hotel, clean, quiet and comfy and in a great location...right next to two nice restaurants, a diner and a bakery restaurant (both […] excellent, btw). It's also close to the freeway and a shopping area. The only downside is that it doesn't include breakfast in the hotel cost. But, there is a small breakfast room available for a fee and a great diner and bakery next door. Also, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room for drinks. I liked the fact that one of the pillows was flat, which I prefer over a puffed up one. The bed was very comfortable, with a duvet comforter. They provide a bowl of fruit every afternoon in the lobby, a nice touch. In all, a good place at a reasonable price. Read more
"Goodrich Review"
Hotel matched up to or exceeded it's three stars. 100% better than the so called three stars we stayed in Topeka KA. a week ago! That place bearly could make one star.
