Great location for walking the strip. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

I love it.
"They should call it the A...."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
For the price paid this hotel is totally worth the money. Free breakfast and no resort fees! Location right on fremont. Hotel staff were very nice compared to some higher priced hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. Valet guys were nice. Breakfast was awesome. Room was a little dated and tired but for the rate paid it was clean, quiet and safe.
"Great Price, Poor Hotel Upkeep"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.

In the foothills of the Spring Mountains, Summerlin is a planned community once owned by eccentric mogul Howard Hughes. Northwest Las Vegas is a golfer’s haven: about a dozen courses are open to the public. Red Rock Canyon offers spectacular vistas accessible via a 13-mile scenic drive and 30 miles of hiking trails. Hikes around Mount Charleston provide a welcome respite from the Vegas heat.

"Summerlin"
The bathroom could use a light over the shower. The one light in the middle was okay until you closed the shower curtain, then it was very dark. Its a fine travelers place, but it's not good if you're looking to stay in an area with sights. Clean and simple with a friendly staff.
"A ways from Las Vegas"
Very nice and clean hotel and an outstanding rate. I didn't do my research and the hotel was a little farther from the airport than I thought.
"Great Hotel"
Steve at the front desk is wonderful ~ second stay here and will be back.

"Courtyard in Summerlin"
The hotel staff was extremly friendly and the room was very clean. However the maintainence and upkeep of the property was extremly lacking. The sink basin had major chips in it, the shower floor felt let it had no support in it and that if I moved around to much I would fall through the card readers for the room and the back door of the hotel did not […] work correctly. I had to try my card at least 10 times before it would work and in some cases had to go around to the front of the hotel to get in since the reader would not read my card at all. Read more
"a good and quiet place to stay in Las Vegas"
The hotel is in good condition, very clean. Room has high ceiling, feels more spacious than it actually is. Shopping plaza is in walking distance. And it is quiet. The only downside is that it is a little far from the Strip, about 10 miles away.
"Pleasant people, clean and comfortable"
They gave us a early check in as we did a red eye flight and needed rest. Very friendly staff, had breakfast at their buffet restaurant and the lady that works in there was such a pleasant person. She made our day with her nice smile and courteous manners. Nice hotel, great for a stay away from the hustle of down-town. We highly reccommend this hotel […] and their staff. Great stay. Read more
"Just a bad hotel"
Horrible hotel. Will never stay here at all. AC wasn't working. Bed was uncomfortable. Bad location. Enough said...

"Air circulation"
In order for the air conditioner to work you must have the sliding glass door closed... we didn't figure that out until after a poor night's sleep the next morning. Management needs to post this to let people know. Other than that, great place.
"Great If You Don't Mind the Commute"
Expect a fifteen to twenty minute drive to The Strip or McCarran Int'l Airport. Other than that, this was a great place to stay.
clean, neat, good location

Clean and Comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area which we really appreciated. The staff was very nice. Overall, this was a good stay for our family.
"repeat visitor"
The Courtyard was very convenient to restaurants, highways, and other needed venues. I appreciated the quietness of the hotel. These are the reasons I booked this hotel again and will use it again when the occasion presents itself.

"Convenient for Summerlin Area"
Convenient to Summerlin and the price was right. Clean and the staff was very nice and accomodating. Even had a container for my husband's used insulin syringes at the front desk.

"A Vegas Weekend Treat - Not !"
We booked this Courtyard location because we wanted to stay in Summerlin, off the strip, and we thought we'd pay a little more to stay in a nice, quiet hotel for our last night in Vegas, so we could have a relaxing night before we went home. Well, we ended up being wrong on both counts. We had stayed the previous nights in a Strip property, which ended […] up being half the price, and twice as comfortable. The problems we encountered were: 1) Although the room was comfortable enough, it was also very small. Plus, it was on the 3rd floor, facing west - and the freeway, which was a stone's throw away - so not only did you get the blazing summer sun in the afternoon (which the a/c couldn't keep up with , even with the shades closed), but we also got highway traffic noise coming through 24/7. Also, having only one bar of soap provided was both inconvient and seemed pretty chintzy to me for a Marriot property. 2) There were a lot of "soccer families" in the hotel for the weekend, as the hotel is down the street from a big soccer complex. Not a bad thing by itself, but the idea of trying to relax by the pool wasn't going to happen, not to mention the occasional kid(s) running loudly down the hallway, or playing on the elevator. 3) Our smoke detector started chirping at 4am. We called the front desk, and a polite maintenance person did arrive in a fair amount of time, who did remove the offending detector, but the damage was done - nothing like a chirping smoke detector at 4am to ruin a good night's sleep. I was more irritated though that I felt the hotel staff had a half-hearted 'sorry about that' attitude, from both the clerk we spoke to at 4am, plus the clerk when we checked out of the hotel. I wasn't expecting to get a free night's stay out of it, but at least a sincere "anything I can do to make this better ?" would have really been appreciated. We've learned our lesson, and will skip the Summerlin Courtyard next time we're in Vegas, no matter if it's for business or for Read more
