Hotel was convenient to the train station and bus service. Housekeeping was good, but I felt as though i was being rushed to vacate the room. The Front Desk people were nice but could have been just a bit friendlier. I did love the courtyard and the Continental Breakfast was excellent.

We had a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. As a bonus, we were able to check in early and check out late due to personal plans without extra charge! Having the PATH station right next door was almost as good as staying in Times Square, but way less expensive. The Newport Centre Mall across the street proved to be a terrific place to grab a bite... Our rooms were really clean, quiet, and comfortable. As a Southerner unfamiliar with the area,I found the desk clerks very helpful in answering my many questions!

This hotel is an affordable stay close to the city! It is right next to the PATH train, which only takes 10-15min to get into the city! The hotel staff was great, very courtious and helpful! The hotel is located in a great neighborhood with a short walk to the waterfront with a nice view of NYC! I will definitely stay here again!

My two complaints about this hotel is the cost per night, but you cannot escape that with the location) and the thin walls. We stayed two nights. The first night was okay, we heard our neighbors talking next door, but I guess they went to sleep at a decent time or left the room because after a certain time until the morning we did not hear them again. The next night, was different. Our neighbors talked all night and they had voices that carried, so it was difficult for us to sleep. We called the front desk who then called them (we heard the phone ring and discussion take place afterward), but they continued to talk and continued to hear. They weren't too loud it is just the walls were too thin. The location was fine. Not far from downtown. We ended up driving to Manhattan when we went. What a nightmare. I would definitely learn about the subway or train before you go. On the PATH website there is a traveler planning guide that will help you navigate what rides you need to be on to get to your destination. Very helpful. The front desk must not have known about this because I had to find it myself although they were somewhat helpful with my many questions.

The hotel itself was very nice. We parked at a garage across the street because we figured the valet parking was expensive. We later found out it was cheaper. Also, thought breakfast was free but found out its $14 a person. A little blown away by that. Otherwise, good stay if want to visit NYC

Hotel was great. I only have three negative comments. First, the alarm clock in the room next to our room alarmed at 6AM every morning and continued for two hours. The hotel did provide a complimentary breakfast for our inconvenience; however the service at the restaurant was not good. Lastly, when we checked out our incidentals were $11.86. When I check my bank account the hotel had charged $70.00 to my card and I cannot get them to call me back regarding the issue. We have stayed here before and had no complaints. These may be isolated incidents.
