"Nice hotel but other surounding guest ruined it."
It was a good stay the staff was great the room was a good size and the price was nice . but a man down the hall kinda ruined our nice stay . he told my boyfriend and I that we were both going and burn in the underworld because we were staying together and not married .... He was practically screaming at us.

"Great stay!"
Overall the hotel was great. There was a noticeable sound of rushing water in the ceiling (possible pipes above the beds). I would hear the water running through the pipes multiple times throughout the night. In the future, I would request a room away from the water lines.

"Five stars, from beginning to end!"
The hotel staff displayed excellent customer service from the very beginning until the end. The hotel was very clean. The view was fantastic. We stayed busy visiting the nearby shops, restaurants, and it was minutes from the Galleria and downtown Dallas. In the future I will only stay at this location. I would also like to add that I constantly saw the same young man during our stay working on the upkeep of the property. He would be working on the landscape one moment and it seemed like he would be working on something else inside the next minute. I never caught his name, but I felt like it was worth mentioning, because employees like him are just as important when first impressions are critical.

"Great location"
Room was nice. Very clean. Elevators were fast. Furniture a bit dated, but that was no big deal. Exercise room had a nice set of dumbbells and some cardio machines. It was a small room though, and that made it difficult to do an exercise routine that requires movement.

place was clean, and thats the important part. decent room, nice view. coffee machine but nothing extra. nice pillows in that you could choose firm or soft. didn't need the air since it was in the 40's. had a deli but we didn't use it. no free breakfast but yogurt parfaits were good and fairly priced. neighborhood was nice. plenty of restaurants around. super close to the cavanaugh museum which is why we were visiting. easy ride to the love field airport. close enough we also saw the zoo and gardens and observatory. all in all, close to attractions, clean, and friendly staff.

Hotel lobby is nicely updated and customer service is excellent but that's where it all ends. Rooms are long overdue for an update, they're old and very basic, definitely not to Marriott standars, also I got a few nasty insect bites while in bed, they don't look like bed bugs but more like a spider bite.

Just need to add a microwave to the room. Some of us try to eat healthy and the food from restaurants are not always made to our standards; therefore, we need to bring and reheat our own pre-cooked meals. This time I had to go from my room to the lobby carrying my food to reheat it and then back to my room again. Other than that, my experience was great and the price was really good.

"construction sucks for the guests"
Everything was great until Sunday morning when they woke me up. Knocking on the door repeatedly so that the door lock could be replaced was very annoying. I am sorry to say I yelled at the person unfortunately they came back 20 minutes later.

The staff is so helpful. Our bed was horribly soft and so the next day they made improvements while we were out of the room that greatly enhanced our sleep that night. "Perfect stop on our road trip"
After a weary drive, we we're pleasantly surprised when we pulled up to the courtyard. It's in an up-and-coming part of town. We felt perfectly safe walking through the parking lot to the lobby. The lobby was spacious, with a full starbucks counter, lounge area, and business center. Our check in was super fast, even with just one man checking in 3 different parties. Walking to our rom, we did notice that the hotel is still undergoing some renovations, right now the hotel has an odd mix of new and old features. The walls were repainted but the carpet was still from the former establishment. The room itself was perfectly fine. Everything was clean, the a/c worked and wasn't as loud as some hotel a/cs. All the amenities were modern; flat screen tv, coffee maker, hair dyer. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stay, even for a weekend stay, it's fairly close to the galleria, but it is a good 20 min drive to the shopping areas near/in central dallas.

"So grossed out!"
I'm very disgusted with this hotel. After 9 hours of driving, I was just looking for a good night's rest. I went to pull back my sheets and there's blood all over them! So gross!! I've never seen a more unsanitary hotel. I called the front desk to get new sheets, which was less than helpful. I needed a king sized flat and fitted sheet, he gave me 2 queen fitted sheets. What an incompetent hotel.

Nice hotel, but I was charged a separate fee for incidentals, which I was not notified of during any part of my stay. Management did nothing to accomodate or empathize with my situation. As a result, I won't be returning.

"Worse stay ever Marriott 3 thumbs down"
Horrible room smelled of smoke mattress was so uncomfortable and something kept biting me in the bed. I wouldn't doubt it was bed bugs. The Marriott needs to take some notes from Holiday Inn Express. I also Stayed there doing this business trip and that stay was amazing MARRIOTT NEEDS TO STEP IT UP HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS has amazing beds so comfortable it's hard to get up.

"Anniversary Getaway"
My husband and I were celebrating our second wedding anniversary. We've been to this hotel several times and each time was great! The Front desk staff was AMAZEBALLS! I think the lady who checked us in name was Shanice or Sharisse, I'm not sure, but she awesome! Great service, she gave us a complimentary appetizer and drinks for our anniversary and suggested the piano bar across the street for more FREE drinks! Room was comfortable and clean. Great stay and we will be back!
