Stayed here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a better place for the money. The staff was extremely helpful with speedy check in/out. Concierge staff was on their A game the entire time. Room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. The bar was nice but a bit expensive ( but that's London). Vauxhall tube station is only a five minute walk which isn't bad at all. There is a grocery store next door that has about everything you need. Was a great stay.

Just what we expected. everything was good except the wash basin drain was full of hair and drained poorly. surprised that the maid service didn't report it
Location.
The Westbury Mayfair Hotel counts Versace, Tiffany's, Armani and Burberry as its exclusive Mayfair-district neighbors in London, England. Bond Street shops are located one-half block away, and the Oxford Circus Underground Station provides convenient transportation two blocks from this property.
Hotel Features.
The hotel lobby is designed with modern floral masterpieces and Gucci windows dressed with Swarovski crystal. The Restaurant Artisan serves breakfasts, lunches and dinners that feature modern European dishes with southern French flair. Culinary preparations include local and organic produce. Tables are dressed with white-linen tablecloths, Villeroy and Boch bone china, and Wedgwood silverware. The bar highlights an extensive list of sommelier-selected wines. The Polo Bar serves domestic and international drinks, and light snacks. Signature drinks include black-cherry and lavender martinis. The lobby hosts traditional afternoon tea service. Four function rooms accommodate up to 120 people, and a business centre offers fax and photocopy services. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. The complimentary 24-hour fitness centre houses rowing machines, a treadmill, step and ski machines, and men's and women's showers and steam rooms. A Clefs d'Or concierge addresses reservation and tour requests.

The seven-story Westbury Mayfair Hotel offers 249 guestrooms, most with Bond Street balcony views. Beds are dressed with Egyptian cotton linens, duvets, and accent pillows and throws. Private bathrooms contain makeup mirrors, shower/tub combinations and Molton Brown toiletries. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is offered, for a fee. Electrical adapters are available. Separate sitting areas feature desks.

The Restaurant at the Westbury Mayfair - In keeping with the decor of the lobby, the hotel's fine-dining restaurant has walnut paneling, a large serpentine marble fireplace, and bookcases loaded with books, figurines, and whiskey decanters. Champagne-colored, Queen Anne-style chairs are positioned around generously sized round tables. The cuisine is modern British and includes a variety of seafood dishes. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served during the week, with dinner-only on weekends.
The Lounge - In the Lounge, breakfast is served in the morning, and traditional tea in the afternoon, with drinks and a changing menu of light snacks available throughout the day. Illuminated neoclassical columns dominate the room, and the salmon-pink walls are bedecked in vividly colored photographs of fashion models, in keeping with the hotel's Bond Street location. Tartan wing chairs and fresh flowers add hits of color throughout.
The Polo Bar - Deep red walls and tartan upholstered chairs add to the rich color scheme of the Polo Bar. The green, purple, and red plaid carpet, mahogany furnishings, and emerald-colored wing chairs lend an air of a private club, furthered by a mural of a polo match, and wall-mounted polo mallets. Live entertainment is often featured in the piano area, and light snacks can be ordered from the Lounge menu. The bar has an extensive cocktail list. Open from noon until the early hours.

"Nice hotel but room bathroom was too small"
Great location; nice service; only beef is that my bathroom was too small and I couldn't stand infront of the sink due to the toilet occupying that space. I got a very good rate and should have upgraded for only 20 sterling more when offered at check-in. Then, all would be fine.

The bar is nice but expensive - £5 for a cup of tea! Nice hotel in every aspect but a big minus is that you must pay for WI-FI which is not up-todate and affects the overall judgement negatively.

This hotel is superbly located. Small room but clean, comfortable and does the job. Great shops and restaurants located nearby....Bond St ,Regent St, Burlington Arcade, Piccadiliy and Circus, etc etc. Not a wow 5* factor and looks and feels more like a 4*. The staff are very accommodating and valet parking at £30 a day is cheap! If you can great […] a good rate.........book it! Best location and you'll save lots of time and money on traveling (presuming this is one of your main destination areas) I would use this hotel again providing I could get a GOOD rate. Read more

We arrived on Friday 25th March for 3 nights and had pre-booked the hotel's restaurant for the first night. Unusually, we chose the Menu du Jour over the A la Carte menu and were very satisfied with the quality, value for money, and level of service from the staff. We were initially shown to a table in a corner behind a pillar and no fuss was made when […] we asked to be moved to a better table. We ordered a delicate Puligny Montrachet Burgundy with our meal which was, unfortunately, ruined by being chilled to near zero. If the hotel is charging top price for a fine wine, then they should know how to serve it. I have stayed at the hotel before although I had forgotten how pokey and small the bathrooms can be. We were placed in a room with an adjoining door to another room and were woken at 5am by the couple next door as it was possible to hear every syllable of their conversation. I mentioned this to Reception and we were moved to an alternative room without fuss. The room was the same specification as before but, this time, the shower head over the bath was clogged with lime scale and did not work properly. Having already asked for pillows to be changed (they were polyester and somewhat smelly), I could not be bothered to ask for the shower head to be cleaned. I rather wish I had upon reflection. The staff were polite, charming and helpful but I will not be staying again as it is overpriced for what it is. Read more

Overall a pleasant stay. Great location and the staff was friendly. The room was surprisingly small, but this is London so probably about the same size you will get anywhere in the city. I would recommend this hotel - no complaints.

Superb beliggenhet og veldig bra service. Vi spiste ikke på hotellet men det så ut til å være godt besøk i begge hotellets restauranter. Det eneste minus var at sengen var altfor hard. Anbefales!

Vi har været på juleindkøb i london i nogle år, en fantastisk by,men må nok sige at service nievu på hotellet overstiger andre hoteller vi har boet på. Meget venlig og i møde kommende mennesker.

Et av de beste London Hoteller i Mayfair. Flott beliggenhet i forhold til shopping, restauranter og teater. Kun en klage - frokosten. Dyr og dårlig. Svært lang tid med servering. Continental breakfast er for dårlig.

Desværre endte jeg på første sal. Det viser sig at på de 2 øverste etager er "Standard superior rooms" langt bedre og det får man ikke at vide selvom man beder om et godt værelse. Først da jeg beklagede mig ved udtjekningen bev det oplyst. Jeg havde udsigt til en affaldskontainer med et udsmidt toilet på toppen af bunken. Jeg bestilte et Superior med ekstra stor seng, men fik en queen size med ét dynetæppe. Jeg måtte bede om, at få et ekstra dynetæppe og fik det. Badeværelset var så lille, at vi to mennesker ikke kunne være der på samme tid. Jeg mener, at værelset (nr. 305) er mindre end de andre, da det ligger i et indhak. Hotellet ligger utrolig sentralt til, og rommene er fine. Vi bestillte et queen bed rom- 150cm bred seng og ikke så stort men rent og pent. Det store minuset var at det var skrekkelig lytt man kunne høre alt som ble sagt i naborom og på gangen, kunne nesten tro at de satt inne hos oss - veldig forstyrrende. Dessuten måtte vi betale 6 pund for vannkoker […] på rommet, noe vi trodde var standard utstyr. Frokost kostet 22 pund pr person så det spiste vi ute. Vi vil velge et annet hotell neste gang pga av at dette var så lytt. Kan ikke skjønne at det kan være slik på et 5 stjerners hotell, har aldri opplevd det så ille noen sted før. Read more

Het htoel heeft my aangenaam verrast, een leuke welkom met een kamer die direct klaar was en goed onderhouden. Misschien is het bed ietsje klein voor grote mensen maar voor mij (1.70m) perfect. Alles werkte, was onderhouden en werd proper gemaakt. Een perfect hotel voor een leuke shopping trip. De leukste winkels binnen een 10 minuten wandelen, top […] shop, hamley's, h&m, ....... Et godt valg. Vennlig og profesjonell service, både når det gjaldt restaurantvalg og transport til vårt neste reisemål. Gode senger og stille rom gjorde det mulig å sove uforstyrret i kjernen av London, trass rom langt ned. God plassering i forhold til shopping: både high end New Bond street og mer avslappede Carnaby street like utenfor døra.
