When coming back from an international flight to the Revere Comfort Inn, we were taken to the wrong Comfort Inn in another part of Boston at 9:30 pm. When entering the shuttle from the airport our names were given since we had called ahead. We had already waited 30 minutes and were exhausted. We were brought to the wrong hotel! They then brought us […] back to the airport to wait for another shuttle. 1 hours and 30 minutes later we were back at the airport. After then being brought to the Revere Comfort Inn almost an hour later, I spoke to the hotel manager. Getting no support and still exhausted and 11:00 pm, requested a free night to eat supper and go to sleep, for their poooooor customer service, and were declined. Can you imagine after an international trip, 2 hrs in customs, over 2 hours riding around Boston and still needing to drive 2 hours home, no acknowledgement for responsibility. There is a barrier so you have to pass the hotel and deal with a circle to manuver your way back to the hotel. This is a great, low-cost option for families or business travelers. I would have given it a higher rating but the location is not the best & it is an older building. The view from my room showed small, older industrial buildings & storage lots - so this is NOT someplace to go for the view. They offer a regular shuttle to the airport which looked clean & spacious - I didn't need to use it. This is an older, 6-7 floor building with lower ceilings & smaller rooms. However, the decor has been updated and it is very clean, comfortable & inviting. The rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves, but I believe one can ask for these appliances for an additional charge. The wireless internet was slower than I would prefer, but very adequate & FREE. A lot of hotels in Boston are still charging for wireless... The staff was very professional and attentive. Check in & out was a breeze. I had a problem with my shower and after calling the front desk, someone was at my door in TWO(2) minutes - this has to be world-wide hotel record.
