The hotel Pulitzer combines great design and amenities with a prime location. We loved the rich interior of the public areas. They are modern but hark back ot earlier days of opulence. The hotel rooms are more thoroughly modern with concrete floors and the bathrooms. I like the cleanliness of that style. The hotel was very well located in the 9th Arr. […] between metro stations that served different lines so it was very easy to get all over the city. The neighborhood was very bustling and it's full of shops andrestaurants, but these are more in the familiar chain store line than uniquely Parisian. Would you believe there is a Chipotle?The breakfast buffet was quite good with nice long hours of operation. We stayed in the Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona a few years ago and liked it so well we booked the one in Paris. I will definitely try their hotels in other cities when I get the chance. Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were super helpful, and it is really well located if you want to go to the Louvre or the main shopping area near Galeries Lafeyette. Eiffel Tower about a 30 min stroll along the Seine. Definitely going to consider staying there next time.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. My colleagues had problems with their queen sized beds being actually two single beds joined using some mechanism that didn't work, the beds would slowly open apart from each other during the night. I didn't have this problem. Now the chair in the room's desk was very uncomfortable, making it hard to work after hours […] in the hotel room (not sure if this should be a pro or a con). Hotel is well located. There's a metro station 2 blocks away (Grands Boulevard). There's a pharmacy almost in front of the hotel. There are 2 mini-markets in the same street, half a block from the hotel. There are also many restaurants in the area, including a Hard Rock Café 2 blocks away. Printemps (the huge department store) is about a 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The Internet connection provided (wifi) wasn't very fast, but worked fine for most of my Internet activities. Was free too. Skype calls were a bit choppy, depending on the time of day. PROS - Free Internet - Breakfast included (may not apply to all reservations) - Breakfast includes eggs, sausages, bacon (not typical in Paris hotels in this price range) - Good service - Well located (metro, mini-markets and restaurants) CONS - Chair in room was uncomfortable (very minor) - Price. I don't recall exactly how much I paid, but I did have the impression it was a bit more expensive than other hotels I stayed in Paris. Maybe if you take into account the free Internet and breakfast, the final price becomes more reasonable. I've seen hotels charging almost 30 euros for breakfast. Overall my experience was good. The location of the hotel is within a few train stops from all the major attractions in Paris. It's also a 10 min walk to Galeries Lafeyette and Printemps so for shopping lovers, this hotel will be a great choice. The breakfast is simple but nice. The service of the hotel was excellent and most of the front desk staff speaks English.

We stayed int he Hotel Pulitzer for 3 nights in May. We loved the stylish Decor of the entrance and the communal areas. There was plenty of space to sit and enjoy the hotels charming Lounge. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and very pleasant. Although the bedroom did not have carpet, the flooring was adequate and rather pleasnantly cool on our feet […] in the 28 degree heat we experienced when out there. The bathroom was also cleaned to a good standard, our towels were replaced daily and they also provided good toiletiries including shapoo, body wash, soap and lotion as well as slippers. My only 2 critisms would be that in room 406 the toilet had been squeezed into a corner betwwen a wall and a radiator and this meant that it was impossible for my other half to sit on it properly. In additoin to this, the room has a room service menu which states that they serve fod up until 1.30am but when I called reception at 12.55am one night to order a sandwich i was told that it was not possible because the food was ot prepared on site and the restaurant they use to get the food made would be closed. Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Read more

Standardzimmer mit 25m2 gebucht... bei der Ankunft dann folgendes: Checkin, extrem kleiner Lift ganz hinten, Beleuchtung extrem schlecht in den Gängen, Zimmer inkl. Bad ca. 10m2 ... was sich doch deutlich von dem gebuchten Zimmer unterscheidet, nicht mal Nachtschränke hatten neben dem Bett Platz... Klärung war am Telefon nicht möglich, wir mussten wieder […] runter, kein Angebot sich um die Koffer zu kümmern, wieder an der Rezeption dann ein Mitarbeiter der mir nicht glauben wollte... die Reservierung vorgelegt, wollte es noch immer nicht glauben, dann hat er ca. 20 Minuten selbst auf Hotels.Com nachgesehen, wollte es noch immer nicht glauben, erst nachdem ich ihm dann erneut klar gemacht hatte, dass ich jetzt endlich ein passendes Zimmer will konnte er sich dann überwinden mir eines zu geben, dass zwar auch nicht so gross wie gebucht war, aber zumindest in der Grösse akzeptabel war, der Weg führte diesmal übrigens über den grösseren Lift gleich neben der Rezeption zum Zimmer, im Zimmer gibt es keinen Schrank in dem ein Mantel Platz hätte... die Schränke hängen über den Nachtkästchen des Bettes, darum nicht hoch genug für Mäntel, Kleider oder ähnliches. Weiters befand sich ein völlig verrosteter 5 Euro Stuhl in dem Zimmer... !?!? Fazit: ich werde das Hotel nicht wieder buchen, ich bin mir sicher, dass es in der Gegend noch bessere geben wird. Gutes Hotel in ausgezeichneter Lage. Am Rande vom Bezirk Montmartre gelegen, ist das Hotel sehr gut dazu geeignet, Paris zu erkunden. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von der nahen Metrostation aus oder teils auch fußläufig gut und einfach zu erreichen. Das Künstlerviertel Montmartre hat einen besonderen Charme und man findet im direkten Umfeld des Hotels […] vielfältige Ausgehmöglichlkeiten. Am Hotel selbst gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Einzig die Betten sind ein wenig knapp bemessen. Freundliches Personal und guter Service runden den hervorragenden Eindruck ab. Wir bekamen sogar das (erstklassige) Frühstück, das wir nicht mitgebucht hatten, das aber vom Hotel mit eingeplant war, kurzerhand umsonst dazu! Toller Service! Fazit: für kürzere und auch längere Aufenthalte ist das Hotel bestens geeignet. Sehr empfehlenswert! Read more

L'albergo e' in una posizione strategica vicino alla metropolitana e con tutti i tipo di ristorante vicino. Uscendo dall'albergo e andando a destra arrivi al centro di Pigalle in 10 minuti a piedi e voltando a sinistra si arriva all'Opera, Notre Dame, Magazzini Lafaiette e Printemps a piedi nello stesso tempo. Le persone della recepiscono sono cortesi […] e disponibili e l'arredamento molto caldo e accogliente e moderno con pareti anche nere o grigio scuro e tutte le altre tonalità di grigio; fotograficamente parlando e un set fotografico. Vi bokade tidigt på våren och åkte i juli, fick ett bra pris. Hotellet är beläget mellan Seine och Pigalle, ett mycket bra utgångsläge för alla sevärdheter.
