The hotel staff was very helpful. We were able to take a shuttle bus to and from our program downtown. The heater in my room did not work well. It blew lukewarm air all night long. Hallway dim.

I booked based on location and price, so I did not expect much from the hotel. I was surprised by the comfortable, big and clean room. Add free parking and this is excellent value for (near) downtown location.

Nice hotel in a good location. The beds were a soft, but tolerable. They could improve the shuttle service to events (too small or not enough buses). We ended up walking most of the time. Overall the stay was very peaceful and the staff was excellent.

Our room was very nice and the king bed was extremely comfortable. We had dinner at the in-hotel restaurant Sweetwater and it was delicious. We really appreciated the complimentary hotel shuttle to the concert at the Xcel Energy Center. We couldn't seem to find the shuttle after the concert, however. We ended up taking a different shuttle back. The hotel room was very clean; however, the whirlpool tub by the pool looked like it needed the white cement steps repainted. The steps into the whirlpool looked tan and dirty in places, although the water seemed very clean and well maintained. The swimming pool water was very clean and a warm comfortable temperature. You could jump right in without any cold shock. All of the staff at the hotel were very friendly.

We were satisfied that the hotel responded when I changed the number of guests from 1 to 3 at the last minute...they had our room ready. We did not get the best cleaning ever but had the option to have the bed linen changed or not. We chose not to change it to save water. The hallways were clean and bright, the space was small but adequate for us. I would go back.

For the price it was "OK." The beds were hard and springey and were not comfortable. That is the reason I gave a "2" on comfort of the room. I would suggest investing in some new beds. The room was clean. The restaurant food was good. I had breakfast there twice. Our waitress Diane was a very nice lady--give her a raise! She was helpful with directions and good places to eat-- more helpful than the front desk personell.

I was very disappointed with this hotel experience. It's partly my own fault that I didn't look closer at amenities offered. The hotel itself needs some maintenance and cleaning---the outside grounds were littered with garbage, the elevators were filthy. The area where the Dumpsters are located is atrocious--broken, paint-peeling fence, garbage strewn about. Unfortunately, this is right next to one of the side entrances adjacent to the parking lot. Service in the Sweetwater Grill was very poor, especially considering we were one of only three tables seated. Ceramic tile in elevators was cracked, chipped, in need of replacement. On Monday,I called the front desk for a wake-up call. The phone rang over 30 times with no answer. No shampoo, conditioner, body lotion or other toiletries were on hand--although there was a bar of soap. Our room door (and several others on our floor) had a faulty hydraulic system and slammed each time we used it (unless we remembered and closed it gently). The shower head fixture was at shoulder height (I'm 5'6")and the shower itself was very cramped and uncomfortable. I am not generally a complainer, but I was very disappointed. I was hosting a guest from NY state, and had higher expectations for the rate I paid at this location.

The price and location were fine. Pool area is nice. The hotel entry area, which is connected to the bar area was smokey, as was the general feel of the common areas. My room also smelled of smoke. This was disappointing, as I had booked a "non-smoking" room.

A coffee packet was not left in our room so we had to hunt someone down to get one. The vending machine on our floor was out of order but there wasn't a sign placed on the machine to tell us. We had to go down to the desk to request a refund of the money put in the machine. The waitress in the restaurant was very loud and out spoken.
