Hotels.com made this hotel look real nice onthe website. It was not. Room was probably upgraded last about 30 years ago. Beds were small. Dining area was made for about 5 people for breakfast. Would not stay there again unless I lost a bet.

This hotel reminds me of the time when I was a child (50 years ago) and the first hotel we ever stayed at. This location's decor is the latest for 1960 and the rooms have not changed. It is a good, basic hotel. No frills or anything special...just a good room at a good price. The Mexican restaurant on site, next to the lobby is amazing. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, eat at the restaurant for some of the best Mexican food anywhere within 100 miles.

I stayed dry, warm, and clean. That's about it. The room my family stayed in faced the highway, so very noisy. Not only car noise, but car park noise and people shouting. Friday and Saturday night partiers I think. Tough to sleep. Room was clean, well maintained, bed was comfortable, but too small. The hotel is well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate at the mexican restaurant and it was good. The walls are thin so we heard the neighbors TV until late and there is some outside noise. Busy area.

Overall no probs. Room was satisfactory...no comforter on the bed, just a sheet and thicker sheet. Turned the heat on and was fine. Breakfast room is kinda small but extra tables in the lobby area to sit at. Breakfast had donuts, eggs, bagels, cereal, danishes, instant oatmeal, juices. The stay was just fine.

I was in Hendersonville for work. This hotel was nice and clean. Close to the interstate. There is a nice Mexican Restaurant attached to the office building. Overall, our experience was fine. My wife and I were traveling with a toddler, so we were nervous when we pulled up to our wing of rooms and there were obvious meth heads hanging around the stairwell. They could barely speak, so there was not a physical threat, but their presence raised my concern for theft. Later I noticed they seemed to be living […] out of a car in the parking lot. Everything was fine, we slept well and the property was well maintained as mentioned. May have been a fluke encounter, but it may be a pocket of addiction in the area that attracts seedy characters. When asked, the staff gave us bum stir c/o restaurant attached to the hotel. They then referred us to a smorgsbord place. When cornered, they told us about Historic Downtown that offered several places that were locally owned , serving good family meals. Their advertisement offering a breakfast was a joke. Jim / Erin

I always check the mattress for possibility of bedbugs. The box springs were nasty looking with brown marks on some areas and the stuffing was hanging out. Overall stay was satisfactory, the only negatives were: the surly gentleman at the front desk at check-in. The bathroom was very small, 60" X 72", and the chair in the room was very uncomfortable for reading or watching football on the new flat screen. For a one night stay, it was pleasant, any longer, ..not so much.
