"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Another Good Experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

"Renaissance Meadowlands is great value for money"
The Renaissance is a very simple but elegant hotel. Lobby is stylish and roomy. We stayed in the Double-Queen room that had very comfortable beds. As typical, there is a small refrigerator, hairdryer, and coffee-maker (terrible coffee). My children enjoyed the indoor pool but parents beware as is there is no lifeguard and only 4 chairs around the pool. There […] is a steakhouse on the premise but we did not dine there. Unfortunately for us we had breakfast in the hotel and it was terrible. Overcooked bacon, flavorless, cold eggs and slow service. Better choice would be a diner just up the street that was offered both better quality and prices. The staff could not be better or more helpful. Always pleasant and quick to respond to requests. "Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel"
First time at this hotel. Stayed during the July 4th weekend. Excellent service at the hotel. There is a nearby bus stop to NYC (goes to Port Authority Bus Station on 42nd st). Each one way ticket costs $4.25. Once at PABS, it is easy to walk to Times square and other nearby attractions or take subway to other parts of the city. Be careful at PABS […] for coming back though. Every day, we had to go to a different gate to catch our bus. Overall, very satisfied with the stay and location of the hotel. Read more

"Nice Hotel"
Very convenient to NYC without the hassle of driving into NYC. Express bus directly across street from hotel, takes 10 minutes to arrive in midtown Manhattan. It is located off a busy highway. I didn't notice the road noise but my husband was aware of it. Nice stores just a short drive from hotel in quaint town of Rutherford. We will definitely return […] for a visit. Read more

"Front Desk Needs Improvement"
I arrived at the hotel at 5:40am after traveling for nearly 10 hours. There was no one at the desk when I arrived so I rang the bell. I rang the bell a few times and not a soul came to the desk to help me. I called the hotel from my phone, it just rang and rang. At this point I was just mad. 10 minutes went by before 2 people came to the desk. I told […] the gentleman 3 times that I was checking in as he kept trying to check me out. When I finally arrived to my room I discovered that they had given me a room with 2 double beds rather than a king bed, which I had reserved. I called down to the desk and since they didn't have any king rooms available, the clerk assured me that she would tell the person on the next shift that I would be changing rooms, which she absolutely did. Other than that, my stay was very comfortable! Read more
"Great Hotel"
We wanted to see New York City but it was too expensive for us to stay there. We ended up here by chance and we loved it! Very nice hotel, public transit just outside the hotel took us directly to NYC. Would definately stay again!
