"Terrible customer service"

Awful. The walls were paper thin, and we heard every conversation of our neighbors. The beds weren't comfortable, and the room was so cramped it was hard to move around in. The family we vacationed with had an 'updated' room, but ours was not. The pool water was so green we wouldn't let our kids swim. "No customer service"
I stayed at this hotel since they had an airport shuttle. I arrived in the evening and as I was getting off the plane I called the hotel to arrange the shuttle. After 2 minutes of ringing, the line went dead. I called back 3 times and the same result. Since their website said to call for the shuttle, I called the 800 reservation line and the girl there […] said she would call the hotel. I was on hold for 8 minutes and she came back and said she could not get them to answer either. So I took a cab - $27. When I arrive at the hotel, two people behind the desk were talking with 2 friends on the other side. They at first said the phone never range and I had the wrong number, I showed them the call history from my phone and then he said that they are having phone problems and the phone at the desk was not working. I called the number and he was correct, except another phone less than 10 feet away was working and was ringing, and he said, "see, this phones does not ring, I don't know why the other one works and this one does not. I guess John did not think to answer the other phone. I asked to be reimbursed for the cab and John said no. But another guy (no name badge) looked at my account and said that he would credit my account, except since I booked thru Hotels.com they could not give me a credit or any compensation. "Our handicapped room request was ignored"
We had reserved thru Hotels.com and our request for a handicapped room was ignored. This hotel only has two handicapped rooms that where already rented out before we came, even tho we were guaranteed late arrival. To find a convenient room located near public bathroom access which had handicapped toilets, required our moving twice. "Nice rooms in a run down hotel"
I was unimpressed with the hotel. I expected it to be cleaner, better maintained, and not shabby. Instead, it was rundown and shabby. There were scuff marks all over the walls, only one old elevator for the entire hotel, and the lobby just looked old. The room itself was spacious and decorated nicely. Couldn't squeeze a late flight out of DFW after a late meeting, so had to stay near airport for early flight. We were very unhappy with the 45 min and three calls wait for the shuttle from the airport in Dallas, to the hotel! Then, we do not know who rates this place a 3.8 but we think maybe a 2 for old, outdated place with workers who lied to us about wait times! Then, the breakfast was cold, yes,, even the hot foods! Snarky staff. Hotel is listed as 2 miles from the airport, but it is 8-10 miles. This room was huge, like an apartment. I arrived and was greeted at 1am by a smiling , patient and kind employee. He was quick to check us in and the accomodations were beyond our expectations. i slept in peace on a very comfortable bed. "Not as advertised"
We booked a queen room with a pull-out sofa since we were traveling with our child. We got there to find out they only offer pull-outs with a king size room. I showed them my reservation and they blamed it on the web site for getting it wrong. I asked if we could at least get a roll-away bed for our child. The clerk said as soon as the driver came back […] from the airport she would have him bring it up. At this point it was 11:30pm and we had to be up at 5am for our flight. My husband attempted to sleep in the chair in the room until they brought the roll-away. By the time he woke up to realize no one ever brought a bed it was 1:30am. He decided just to stay put rather than calling and waking everyone up to get a bed delivered. Needless to say he got very little sleep sitting upright in a hard chair. The next morning I complained at check-out about the bed not being delivered and they said the clerk wrote the wrong room number down for it to be sent to. "Nice hotel for near DFW airport"
The room we arrived to was incorrect. It was one bed instead of two. It was also a really nice suite with full kitchen and living room. So we were not so happy with the room we ended up with after complaining on the bed situation. We got the normal room and the air conditioner worked poorly to say the best. Shuttle worked as promised. Picked us up and brought us back to the airport. Stayed one night only as a layover. Hotel does not have food, but they sell microwavable food. Hotel room was really clean. Refrigerator was really loud so I unplugged it for the night. Room had microwave that worked. Room was clean, had a small kitchen, office desk, queen […] size bed. I picked this hotel for its nearness to the airport; however, if you want to be close in DFW, the only option is the two IN airport hotels. The freeway configuration complicates a quick ride to the terminals. Also, the shuttle only operated every 45 minutes.
