The hotel location was perfect. It took less than ten minutes to arrive at the terminal. This hotel is in need of a facelift (inside and out). Showing the age and use. the hotel was clean. The side door badge reader didn't work so I had to go all the way around in the middle of the night. Housekeeping started cleaning loudly at 0700 and my flight got in at midnight so that was a great wake up. "HORRIBLE!! Not at all what is advertised"
For one, we paid for a double "queen" bed suite only to find they do not offer double queen bed suites. we were given a standard double bed. In fact their "queen" beds are actually FULL sized beds which made it very uncomfortable trying to sleep with my 2 young children in one bed. When I called to ask about the roll away beds advertised online, I was […] told they only had 3 tucked away in storage and it would be too difficult to get to them! They also swiped my credit card (for security deposit purposes only) under another persons name and each time I called them at the front desk I had to explain who I was and why we were in that room. Honestly, this hotel is ok. Service was friendly but it's an old hotel and you can feel it. The walls are thin and the carpet felt dirty.. There was a part of the hallway that smelt like fried fish.. "Good long stay"

"great place to stay the night before a long flight"
I stayed at this hotel for just one night before a long marathon of flights that started the following morning. There's not a lot of restaurants, shopping, or other distractions nearby, but it's a perfect place to get a solid night's sleep before travel. The hotel also offers shuttle service to DFW. "Could have been nice..."
We were pleased with the room and cleanliness, but baseball teams staying at the hotel and a midnight fire alarm made our stay a nightmare. The kids next door were literally bouncing off the wall. A call to the front desk didn't help, so had to confront them ourselves. We weren't the only ones they were disturbing. They were running up and down the […] halls after the 1:00am fire alarm, which was caused by a client burning tacos in their room. The staff couldn't turn off the alarm, so had to wait until it could be done by the fire dept. I was concerned when we checked in and another client was checking out early to go to a different hotel, which cost them a nights fee. "Terrible customer service"

Awful. The walls were paper thin, and we heard every conversation of our neighbors. The beds weren't comfortable, and the room was so cramped it was hard to move around in. The family we vacationed with had an 'updated' room, but ours was not. The pool water was so green we wouldn't let our kids swim. "No customer service"
I stayed at this hotel since they had an airport shuttle. I arrived in the evening and as I was getting off the plane I called the hotel to arrange the shuttle. After 2 minutes of ringing, the line went dead. I called back 3 times and the same result. Since their website said to call for the shuttle, I called the 800 reservation line and the girl there […] said she would call the hotel. I was on hold for 8 minutes and she came back and said she could not get them to answer either. So I took a cab - $27. When I arrive at the hotel, two people behind the desk were talking with 2 friends on the other side. They at first said the phone never range and I had the wrong number, I showed them the call history from my phone and then he said that they are having phone problems and the phone at the desk was not working. I called the number and he was correct, except another phone less than 10 feet away was working and was ringing, and he said, "see, this phones does not ring, I don't know why the other one works and this one does not. I guess John did not think to answer the other phone. I asked to be reimbursed for the cab and John said no. But another guy (no name badge) looked at my account and said that he would credit my account, except since I booked thru Hotels.com they could not give me a credit or any compensation. We had reserved thru Hotels.com and our request for a handicapped room was ignored. This hotel only has two handicapped rooms that where already rented out before we came, even tho we were guaranteed late arrival. I was unimpressed with the hotel. I expected it to be cleaner, better maintained, and not shabby. Instead, it was rundown and shabby. We stayed at this hotel because of expedia's discounted price and the complimentary shuttle service. We waited well over an hour at the airport. We were told to wait at E7, which was a 10 min walk from where we were (which was also a shuttle pick up location) after 30 min. Of waiting, I called and was told the driver was there, didn't see us and left, […] they'd send him back. (They took my phone number in case of problem-why didn't they call?) several calls later, several lies later, I was told there was no record of my call for pick up! During our stay at the hotel (1 night) we talked to 2 other couples, BOTH of which had the exact same problems-dishonesty, lack of communication with front desk and drivers, over an hour wait for pick up.
