I checked in late, around 10:30 after working a 15 hour day. Was suddenly woken up at 2 AM by someone trying to get into my room. Apparently the girl who "checked" me in never actually put in the computer that the room she gave me was occupied, so another key was given to that room to a couple checking in late. Whole situation had startled and scared […] me, then I wasn't able to fall back asleep for quite a while, which made the next day at work difficult. The hotel did offer me a certificate for a complimentary stay. Also, was a good thing I had brought my own shampoo because when I went into the bathroom, they had a tiny bottle that had mostly all been used already. Read more

The hotel is either new or newly remodeled. Its in great shape, clean, tidy and modern. The room was great! It has a full kitchen, large bathroom and closet, tv, dresser...certainly comfortable for a short or long stay. Upon arrival to our room all we heard was constant dog barking. The 2nd room we were given, had plumbing issues, everytime i flushed the toilet water shot up higher than the tub. However, we were given an upgrade to a room with a horrible stinch from a previous guest (which we were forewarned about). What a way to spend an anniversary. The linens felt […] like sand paper, and they state that there's a fitness center, untrue, the fitness center is 2 blocks away at a local gym. Your ratings had this as 3.8 now you tell me after the fact it is a 2 - I agree with two. I wouldn't sit on the chair at the table - filthy. The bed was broken. Thank goodness I was only there for 1 night. Many much better alternatives in the area for only $5-10 more per night and they charged me $5.00 for slow wifi which is free at the others.

Stay was due to no electricity at home. Hotel exceptionally clean given it is pet friendly. Staff extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful, especially given the volume they encountered due to statewide power outages. Good value, kitchenette was a plus.

I stayed here thinking it was a good reasonably priced choice since I was checking in at 7pm and leaving the next morning. The next night I spent an extra $40 and got an amazing hotel, accomodations, service and amenities at the Hotel Siera up the street. The homestead was as basic as it gets. I would not stay again. It started with an uninterested […] hotel clerk who told me nothing about the hotel's amenities (if there were any). She asked if I needed shampoo and I said I may and she went to the back and brought me out a sample...seemed odd that it wasn't in the room already. Apparently there was a vending machine but I didn't see it. No lobby to speak of, not welcoming, not warm. Spend a little extra and get much more. There's at least 7 other hotels on the same street. I would recommend this hotel for anyone driving to Fairfield CT, with a family, since a laundry room, refrigerator, ironing board, etc., are available -- which would be great when traveling with kids. The heating unit was EXTREMELY NOISY: It was a cold night, but I couldn't sleep if the heater was on; likewise, the refrigerator sounded like a freight train going through the room each time it cycled on/off. In general, the way the hotel has been built, it's a very noisy place: Every time another resident opened his/her door, the sound resounded up and down the corridors. Jeg hadde forretninger i området, så jeg valgte dette hotelet pga at det var så nære. Det gjorde jeg rett i! Var relativt lett å finne fram til med bil. Ikke rare du kan foreta deg i øyeblikkelig nærhet, men det var ikke forventet. Respepsjonisten var veldig behjelpelig. Rommet var STORT, rent og veldig tilfredstillende.
