I said here when I traveled to pick up my new dog, and I will NEVER stay there again! The room smelled disgusting, was dirty, and had water leaking into the bathroom from the next unit causing mold!!! I will never recommend or stay there every again, I would rather sleep in my car.

Hotel has wi-fi, but the signal is extremely weak. Called multiple times to the front desk and the IT hotline. Room is only cleaned if you stay for at least 7 days. I would not stay there again or recommend to other people.

Ask for NS room and got a smoking room. Cigarette ashes and butts were in the garbage can when I entered the room. Trash was in the garbage can in the bathroom. No shampoo. Heater ran all night and was vey noisy. Pass on this property.

It was horrible. For the cost of the room, I expect to get at least a room that has a working toilet and/or some help with it if it doesn't work. Our toilet was not only running constantly, but also leaking water onto the floor of the bathroom (seems like a safety hazard). When we called to report it at 9 p.m. we were told there was no maintenance available […] until 9 a.m. and since the hotel was full, we could not be moved. There was no offering of help for the water leaking all over the floor, no indication that someone would come and at least turn the water off, no offering of a bathroom to use elsewhere in the hotel, just basically deal with it until 9 a.m. So, we had to jerryrig the toilet ourselves to stop it from leaking (making it unusable). Our other room had a working toilet, but there was a loud noise coming from the walls all night long (like pipes moaning). I didn't expect the Ritz, but I do expect basic services and a quiet room. I have stayed at homesteads for years. I wish they had better consistency at their hotels. We had to switch rooms during our stay because the WiFi was not working in the first room. First off, let me just say that I have considered staying at this hotel multiple times (I'm from Vegas) and each time I stay at the one right across from this one. I have never written a bad hotel review before. I've stayed in a dozen hotel/motels in the last year alone and feel like I have pretty basic expectations that are usually met for accommodations I book online. Homestead Suites in Midvalley, UT is an (unfortunate) exception to my usual experience. For starters, the hotel was tricky to find--not right […] off Redwood Rd. as it's address implies and it took me 10 minutes of driving back and forth just to find it. Upon arrival, a friendly (if overly confessional) staff member checked me in. The room key didn't work and I was given another that did quickly. The room was the real problem. The toilet seat (the part you actually sit on) was covered in dried urine. I mean covered. The bathtub was grimy and the whole room felt dirty and outdated. As I was only there for one night, I didn't have reason to use the kitchenette, but upon looking at it quickly, I would not have wanted to. The walls were paper thin and at 4:00am I was awakened by the sound of the person showering in the room next to me. It was not a muffled sound but was so loud that it jolted both me and my 2 year old daughter out of a deep sleep. Another thing that should be taken into consideration is how many people actually LIVE in this facility. I was told upon check in that they have a significant number of tenants who live there full time and it does have more of an apartment complex feel than that of a normal motel/hotel (i.e. lots of people going in and out of rooms, people gathered outside, etc.). Though the desk staff was mostly helpful and friendly, every other thing about this hotel would keep me from ever going back. Read more

There are NO ammenities, so bring your own coffee,tea or whatever. The Bed can you say ROCK HARD!!!! The room looked nothing like the pictures on the web site. I thought i was in a 1950's motel... bring your own shampoo, and large towels, and if you call those pillows then you would consider the ones at home to be giant size.... very dissappointed!!! […] 2 thumbs down. cheap hotel, no amenities meaning no pool no breakfast, no hbo a few cable channels. bed we very uncomfortable. and very squeeky. bathtub was very old and looked like a coal miner had just bathed in in it. closet doors were broken. but I guess for the pricet probably could have done worse.
