I had to exchange the iron as it did not work properly, the air-condition unit made noise, so did the toilet. I did not like having to exchange towels at the front desk and the process of getting sheets clean was beyond anything I have ever had to do at a hotel. Dissatisfied, must likely will not consider it in the future.

Overall experience was great. My only complaint was when I checked in at about 1:15am it took 35-40 minutes to alert the night clerk. That was after a number of calls to the hotel and then to the main branch office.

The rooms were nice and clean with peace and quiet..Tghe only issue was the freezer didnt work so had to buy ice..and the distance from party areas was a drive, but overall i give it a 3.5...and i kinda wanted bacon and egss and not granola bars w/ apples on the go...

We love the location and have stayed here several times before, however, on this occasion I was very disappointed to see a box of condoms and old socks in the closet door. It was not hard to miss and shows that the room was not properly inspected or cleaned.

I really don't understand why the ratings are so low for this hotel. I had a great stay. Of course you can't expect the luxury of Sheraton or Wyndham but for the price I was very pleased.

Young lady came in front door one evening, and locked herself in men's room. Young man at desk wasn't concerned when I informed him. Day crew had to call police, when she was still there next morning. One night, inside lobby door was locked at 9pm. Room card didn't work. Desk clerk wasn't around to answer the phone. Dirty counter tops in bathroom and kitchen, it was a smoker's room, but no ashtray. No hangers in closet. No posted check in or check out times. Was rush to leave room by housekeeper.

Well when I arrived the front desk attendant was trying to get ahold of the housekeeper to see if the room was ready. After 10 minutes she said it was done so when I got in the room it was dusty and the sheets were not changed out and the room smelled I will never come here again I would have rathered stayed in my car.. Just disgusting

I really don't know what people r expecting. My stay was great. My room was beyond my expectations for the price. If u want five star, the Peabody will happily charge $200 a night. If u want a nice place to sleep that is affordable, stay here!

After I called to confirm a late check in for 11:30 pm no one was there when I arrived at 11:15 pm. It took me 1 1/2 hours and a call to call the national reservations number who then called the hotel manager who then called the clerk on site to finally get checked in. On top of that the hallways not only smelled horrible but the carpeting was in terrible […] condition. Glasses in the room were not washed properly (reddish goo on the lip on one cup), I booked a queen bed and got a double bed...and I could go on and on. This was a good place to stay and in a decent neighborhood. The price was great! Only problem there was a few noisy kids one morning but that can happen anywhere. I will stay here again.

undergoing repairs. everything is old and rundown. $25 a night is rediculous for pets. No water for first 5-6 hours after check-in.

I arrived was given a room. When i got to the room it was hot the room was not cleanand tge ac unit was taken apart and the parts were lying on the bed. I took pics and showed the hotl clerk she gave me a differnt room it was clean howerver the bed was like sleeping on a box of rocks this hotel need updateing bad.

The room was hot and uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory. My husband and I did not get the room we reserved, and when we tried to change it , we were given someone elses room. This getaway was so sad that we will not recommend anyone or come back to stay at this establishment.

It took more than 20 rings for ANYONE to answer the phone. 3 times on a weekday, and once while waiting AT THE FRONT DESK for 20 min searching for a hotel employee to check us in. We were told to come back and be there at 3:00 to get our 2 suites. We came back at 5:15 AND THE 2 SUITES WERE STILL NOT READY! I demanded to talk to a MGR and was told (This […] was a Sat) that it was imposable to do so until Mon. I then asked for the hotel chain customer serv # and the front desk person told me no one ever gave her that #. Between the 2 rooms, there were 3 beds. Every one of them was uncomfortable and everyone who slept in them had sore backs after just 1 night. The amenities; 1 pot, a spatula, a big spoon, 2 cups, 2 plates, and 2 knives and forks. Not as advertised. Brought DVD's since they advertised that every room had 1. No DVD players. My top floor room and hallway smelled of mildew. There were water leakage stains throughout the hallway. It rained that night and the roof was leaking throughout the top floor. 3 other top floor guests told me their rooms were leaking and they complained to me that they could not contact hotel employees. I have over 750k air miles with American Airlines and several thousand more with 2 additional airlines. I travel professionally and I have spent many nights in hotels across this country. This trip was pleasure, and this was the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. I will NEVER stay in ANY hotel owned or operated by this hotel chain EVER again. Read more

I didn't like my stay at all. There was never anyone available, my room was not available for check-in for 3 hours after check-in time, the building had a bad smell, the bed was hard, the carpets were stained and dirty, my comforter had holes in it, and poor or lack of customer service. I will never stay at another Homestead Hotel again!
