"Not worth for your Money"
I booked the room here mainly because of the kitchen facility.I was driving and reached this place around 11 PM, the lady at reception showed me the room. The room was not arranged well, the toilet flush was not working.I had to give multiple calls in the midnight to get it fixed. The hotel was under staffed - I saw one poor lady running behind all calls […] from different rooms and trying her best to please customers. This place is not worth for the money I spent. "Not likely to return"
We had to wait 20 minutes at desk to sign in because the front desk clerk was assisting another patron. The room and hallway had a less than desirable smells. The staff was very hospitable when available. But availability and fresh air would do this hotel wonders!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Received MORE than my Money's worth"
It is very rare that a person can feel they got more than what they paid from a hotel. This was the experience I had. The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet, the staff friendly and attentive. No one thing stood out, it was a complete package. Just as it takes a team to win at anything, this hotel is a winner.Genuine Expedia guest review

"A great stay for the price"
Stayed here overnight the night before a wedding. The room was clean and in good shape. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even accommodating a ridiculous request to borrow scotch tape to wrap a gift! The location was great. There was a mall, Wal-mart, and plenty of restaurants near by, which are all convenient when traveling. The complimentary […] "Grab and Go" breakfast left a little something to be desired. We thought it could use a little more variety, but this was certainly not something that would deter us from staying again. There are not a lot of frills to this hotel, but for the price, you can't beat it! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location, but needs some work."
I requested a non-smoking room, and was told the one I was given was indeed a non-smoking one. The room smelled of stale cigarettes, as if it had once been a smoking room, but had been cleaned. My allergies are really sensitive, so I pick up on residual smoke easily. I was there for a long weekend, so I bought some air freshened spray for while I was […] there, which helped a bit. The hotel itself, the hallways and common areas also had a stale cigarette odor to them, and the floors were a bit dirty, dingy. I think the entire facility could use a remodeling, as the entire place felt titled and worn out. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice location, several close restaurants."
Room was well equipped with a kitchenette and utensils which would be good for a longer stay but as we were staying only one night it was unneeded. Perhaps for that reason the continental breakfast was terrible. The coffee was good but the other breakfast items were only packaged muffins, apples, oranges, and oatmeal packs which you had to take back […] to your room as there was no room to eat in the lobby area. The kitchenette needed a more thorough cleaning as the cabinet handles were sticky. There were no shampoo or conditioner bottles in the bathroom. The room was large and fairly spacious with a large closet and nice LCD television. The kitchenette had an eat-at counter along with a two-burner electric range. The hotel was disappointing for not having a pool or exercise room. They had an offsite arrangement with some local gym which was several blocks away, not a terrific idea. "The outside looks better than the inside"
As I was standing in line the people in front of me were complaining that their room already had people in there. The other guys that were with them had beer and molded bread in their room. Needless to say I began looking up other hotels while standing there. My room had already been charged because I got it from hotels.com. I asked to see my room first […] before I accepted it. When I went in there was a smell in it and it looked old. I was told I could have another room. That room had fingernail polish on the floor. That was the least of my worries from what I had heard and seen. I was then given an upgrade to another room on a different floor. I appreciated the clerks customer service but it could never exceed my first impression. I wouldn't stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location and price"
I came into town to pick up a car that I would be driving back to TX. It had to get some maintenance work done on it while I was up there, so I had to be located within walking distance from several types of businesses. This was perfect. There is a Walmart across the street that is open 24 hours for anything you might need. There is also a shopping […] center and several places to eat, and of course get your car worked on. I stayed here two nights and enjoyed both of them. I walked the area late at night and it didn't seem too sketchy, but I didn't check any crime stats. Very nice front desk people Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff were friendly and helpful, room was large, comfortable and clean, breakfast was good. The closet door wasn't hung well and the bathtub was higher than the bathroom floor -- two signs of cutting corners for economy. Nevertheless, we'll probably stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good Extended Stay Hotel"
This is a good basic room with kitchen facilities for an extended stay. No maid service is provided for stays less than a week, but that suits me fine. If looking for amenities, this is not your hotel. But if you are independent and want a convenient and comfortable room at a reasonable price, this is your place. The location is not beautiful, but there […] is a large shopping center and many other stores around to fill any need for your stay (including a 24-hour Walmart with grocery section virtually across the street). "Good Deal but Nothing Fancy"
08/05/14 ji1963 Concord, New Hampshire
We booked a last-minute room here using priceline for a very low price. Upon arrival after ten pm the hallways had stained carpets, empty pizza boxes and bags of trash in them. It reminded me of a college dorm, except that it was quiet. Also, most of the signs and pictures in & around the elevators had been scratched on, most likely by some adolescent-minded person. The room was another story... Clean and nicely furnished. No complaints. The bed was very comfortable, too. The WiFi worked okay, but the free breakfast is nothing to write home about... Coffee, granola bars, packaged muffins and some bruised apples. Based on the price, I would recommend this hotel, but be prepared to buy your own breakfast.

The service, experience and the amenities were wonderful. It is a smaller room than I expected but it was really comfortable. I'm a smoker and they had no problems accommodating my needs. Most hotels now a days don't have rooms for smokers. We are still people whom deserve a nice, quite get a way from our normal hustle and bustle.

We made a reservation (and prepaid) for 2 adults and 2 children in a non-smoking 2 queen bed room for two nights. Upon arrival we checked in and much to our disgust, upon entering the room, we realized that it was a single king smoking room. When we returned to the front desk to rectify the situation, we were told that there were no rooms of that type available, but that the other location about a mile away did. We packed the kids back into the car and went to the other location, only to find out they only have a room for one night, not the two we reserved. Back to the original location, we were told that the only non-smoking room that they had was a single queen and that we could fit two roll aways in it. Upon inspection of this room, there was no way to fit two roll aways there, so we were placed in the smoking king room and had to use the fold out couch leaving no room to walk in the room. All of our belongings that we had with us now reek of smoke and I can only imagine what it has done to our children's lungs.
"Friendly Staff, Terrible Rooms"
07/08/14 Sarah S New Haven, CT
Let me start off by saying everyone we talked to on the staff at this place was very friendly, and we talked to a LOT of them because our room was so bad. 1) The staff called on the day of our check in and let us know we wouldn't be able to check in until 5PM, though the stated check in time is supposed to be 3PM. Not a huge deal, but inconvenient. 2) The smell was terrible. The previous occupant had obviously made good use of the kitchenette and the smell of burnt oil and spices had permeated every cloth surface in the suite. We left the windows open overnight but the smell was still so bad I had to request a second cleaning. They came that day and re-cleaned while I left the windows open and that helped a little bit, but it still stank. The smell got on our clothes which was also unfortunate and just made it feel like we couldn't escape the stank! 3) We learned that the reason the smell had gotten so bad during the previous occupants stay was that they had taped over and disabled the smoke detectors in the unit!!! This was not noticed and repaired before we got the room. The following morning I asked for this to be fixed and it was taken care of that day. 4) The sofa was torn and stuffing was peeking out of it. Also a base board was torn from the wall and wires were coming out. They were not able to fix this during our stay. 5) The bed was very uncomfortable. It was very firm. Maybe if you like that it wouldn't be so bad. The pillows were odd too, they didn't seem to be the same fluffiness. Perhaps some were older than others? So all in all a bad experience. I wouldn't stay here again and I can't in good conscience recommend this to ANYONE unless they do a full refurbishment of their facilities.
"Home away from home... Clean, Comfortable and Convenient"
We have stayed here over the past 12+ years and watched this property age to rhe point we nearly selected a new location. The main thing that kept us coming back was the wonderful friendly staff. Well over the past 18 months the new GM and Extended Stay have transformed this property. It is not fancy but it is very nice. New carpet, furniture, TVs and wow is it clean. We enjoy having a place with a full kitchen for breakfast and evening snacks. The hotel now offers a small grab and go free breakfast. There is a major shopping center across the street with a new cinema. At least 20 chain restaurants within a 1/2 mile plus a super WalMart 500 ft away.

No shampoo, no conditioner, no grab bar in the shower, no ice and a mattress springs that made popping sounds when we shifted in bed. No cups, silverware, plates or cooking utensils in kitchen area - making it un-uable. Woke up in pain. Left early - too uncomfortable.

I was very please with my locations and it was a bonus being across the street from the mall. The staff very friendly. My room was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again when return to Cleveland. Also very close to the airport.
"Friendly staff, clean hotel"
01/12/14 astroguy22 Buffalo, New York
Lived here for about 3 months in 2013 while I was working an internship. The staff at this hotel was extremely friendly - the two younger women, as well as the older woman who seemed to be there a lot of nights, were all extremely friendly and accommodating. Very personable and they understood customer service. Rooms were basic for an extended stay, but acceptable. Everything was in good condition. Floors in the bathroom/kitchenette looked new and were clean. Biggest complaint is they do not have ovens. Two electric stove burners, a toaster, microwave, and full-sized fridge, but no oven. This limited the things that could be cooked - and when living there for months, required getting creative. Hotel was clean. Housekeeping came once a week and was pretty good - there seemed to be two different housekeepers that tended to my room - one was outstanding, the other was average. It was easy to tell who cleaned your room that week. One went above and beyond - cleaned the sink, countertops, floors, etc - while the other didn't seem to change the shower curtain and pretty much just changed the sheets. Got ants in the room one night and they fixed it the next day while I was at work - great responsiveness. Only issue is that the hotel allows smoking. Not in every room, but as you might imagine, the smoke smell travels. I had a nonsmoking room, but the smoke smell traveled into it - usually through the bathroom vent. I'd advise the hotel that smoking rooms should not be above/below nonsmoking ones for this reason. Or maybe someone was smoking in a nonsmoking room. Either way, it was a minor annoyance - not a terribly strong smell, but I had air fresheners in the room as otherwise it could be noticed. Location is good - there's a WalMart across the street, a Target across from that, and the mall down the road - as well as a plaza with Home Depot, Big Lots, Radio Shack, etc. All walkable. Recommend the Harry Buffalo for drinks. Otherwise it's a bunch of chain restaurants and strip malls - but convenient to where we needed to be. My only real complaint is the internet. It's awful. They "upgraded" the internet toward the end of my stay, but if anything they made it worse - certainly not any better. Speeds were terrible - free internet was 0.5 mbps - and that would have been OK if it was consistent, but it constantly was kicking you off, not connecting, etc. Was worse during peak hours - could barely connect sometimes - and forget Youtube/Netflix/etc. Worked OK at night. They had an "upgraded" option at $30/month that advertised 2.5 mbps...but for that price and speed I could get a 4G hotspot that would be much faster... The Courtyard next door had wonderful internet though, and I will admit to being guilty of going to their lobby to use their internet, as oftentimes I could not get the work done that I needed to in the Extended Stay. If they would get better internet service I'd give them another star.
We moved out of a home and while waiting for our new construction to be completed, we had three months of living to figure out. We got a discounted rate due to the long stay, making it $45/night - you can't beat that price. We chose this location over the one down the road because they offered king size beds, although the other location had an oven in the room as well as a swimming pool. The location is amazing - one corner from the interstate, walking distance to Walmart, Chilis, Macaroni Grill and Lone Star. The mall is across the street, with shopping, movie theatre, and more food options. The hotel backs onto the interstate and, while there are trees to hide the eyesore, it was quite noisy and we decided to keep the windows closed for our entire stay. The room was clean and fairly modern - things weren't falling apart, and while the decor was "hotely", it was comfortable. Our room had a king size bed, a desk, two occasional chairs in a small seating area, a cooktop, microwave, fridge and a decent amount of cabinet space for food. They include cooking and eating utensils, china, cups, etc. We did end up buying a toaster oven since we knew we'd be there for so long, as well as an inexpensive frying pan, cutting board, and a couple of other things we felt we needed. They cleaned the room once/week, including new linens, towels, and a wipe down of surfaces (did not clean the kitchen/dishes etc). There are laundry facilities on site which was great, allowing us to avoid a laundry mat. It did add up to pay for the laundry ($2.00 for a washer, $2.00 for a dryer x 3 loads/week). That being said, it was nice to have on site. There is a breakfast to go in the lobby in the mornings (about 6am-10am), including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, fruit, muffins and granola bars - nothing over the top, but on your way out to work it's nice to be able to grab something and go. Our biggest praise is to the staff. We had some issues (which is to be expected with such a long stay). Our fridge had a leak and was replaced by maintenance that same day (they even transferred all of our food over, as we were out of town - a small thing, but meant a lot to us). Our biggest complaint was that we had spells of cigarette smoke smelling up our room - it even woke us up one night it was so strong. Being in a non-smoking area of the hotel, we complained more than once. The staff did their best to resolve it (moving rooms was not an option for us with all of the belongings we had with us). They asked the people around us about smoking, cleaned the carpets and A/C systems. While it didn't fix the issue, we appreciated their effort and the smell eventually went away (we assume whoever it was either stopped smoking inside or checked out). If you're looking for an extended living arrangement, we would highly recommend the Extended Stay family, and this location specifically!

xtended Stay is a big step up from the former Studio Plus. The rooms are clean and the hotel staff is friendly. The kitchen is useless for me but it looks great and like at home. I made a reservation on priceline for this hotel. The price is less than $40 including everything. Have a good weekend in Cleveland, OH. Thanks, Priceline.
