We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.
Location.
Situated in Whippany, Homestead Hanover - Parsippany is close to Morris Museum and Frelinghuysen Arboretum. Additional area attractions include Acorn Hall and Washington's Headquarters Museum.

"Basic but decent"
Room was ok except for the bathroom having a dirty toilet! That aside, the location was great... Lots to do in that area, and numerous restaurant choices!!!

The only reason I chose this motel was because of a mixup in booking my first choice. There was on stopper in hte sink. There were no hangers in the closet The bed was hard and lumpy My room was not cleaned for the two nights that I was there Internet access was extra Never again!
"Disgusting Conditions"
What a disgusting hotel. The room was filthy, there were hairs all over the floor in the bathroom and in the sink of the "efficiency kitchenette". It was so bad, I decided to sleep in my clothes to make sure I didn't wake up with bedbug bites. I think my worst complaint was the smell of Cigarette smoke. I had asked for a NON SMOKING room as I am allergic […] to smoke. I got off of the elevator and it smelled like an old bar with a heavy odor of smoke. I immediately went downstairs to complain and the front desk clerk looked at me and said..."what would you like me to do?" Unfortunately, there weren't any other rooms available and I didn't have the liberty of changing hotels due to an unexpected blizzard in October. The bathroom had one washcloth one towel and one bar of soap. No other amenities were offered. I would highly discourage ANYONE thinking of this hotel. It is more like a ROACH MOTEL instead of someplace anyone would want to stay. REALLY rethink this one!!! Read more

With the staggering cost of a dollar per night hotel rooms in this area, I found this hotel to be clean, quiet and a great value for the money.

Da room was ok but needs new carpet bad bed was comfy my wife had leave from army so we shacked up for the time it was very very very quiet mybe not wit us being there lol but i would recommend this place wish they had breakfast but its tons of fast food places very close
"Cheap price, Cheap service, Cheap staff"
1. Rude staff with no training in politeness. 2. Hot water stopped on two days of my week-long stay. No apologies from the hotel staff. 3. Retrieving phone message was impossible. The hotel staff refused to help.

"kitchen" area not clean, had to get disinfectant sprays and clean surfaces & cooktop. Tiled areas (kitchen and bath) were extremely slippery when wearing shoes, due to a coating of something. Trash room bins overflowing on weekend; had fruit fly infestation in my room for the following week. Exterior entrance had trash and cig butts surrounding doorway […] during weekend. "NJ- near Morristown"
Hotel was fair for price. Location was great. However, coffee pot with coffee and no cups. NO breakfast, not even packaged bagels or donuts. AC was somewhat loud. Room and linens were clean. Staff was friendly.

When we confirmed that we were going to check in late, we did not expect the front desk and the front door were both closed by 11pm. We waited until two men who apparently worked during the night shift opened the door and when they did they somehow did not know where our reservation was. It was somewhat frustrating when you've been driving 12 hours […] to get to your destination and you are standing by the front door waiting to be checked in by guys who had no idea what they were doing. If I am single woman travelling I would be very cautious as to recommending this hotel. I gave 2/5 star. Apparently, this particular hotel does not clean your room if you are staying for 2 days. Be informed that this is a no service hotel in that the bed linens and towels are not changed until after a 7 day stay. Similiarly, the rooms are not cleaned nor the beds made until after a 7 day stay. I really enjoyed my stay at the Homestead. I do not remember the womans name that checked me in but she was very helpful and freindly. She made it seem like I had been a guest before. "Homestead Studio Suites in Whippany, NJ"
The manager was rude: He called my room soon after I checked in and asked for Rona instead of Ms Keeton. He was trying to force me to pay for pets that were only there for a couple of hours visiting with our guest. We were originally put in room 106, but as we checked the room we founded dirty bed sheets and the clerk moved us to room 111. Where we […] found a dead fly on the stove. Had to kill a bug off of the ceiling. We left the room with the tv on and the light on the microwave on with the do not disturb sign in the door. When we returned a few hours later, the tv was turned off and the room light was turned on; therefore that means the do not disturb sign in the door was IGNORED,,,, THEY ENTERED OUR PRIVATE SPACE. There was debris outside the entrance door all weekend: trash can running over and beer bottles all at the entrance. One light next to the bed didn't work and the window screen was lying next to the window outside instead of being on the window so we could not open the window for fresh air. We were told the light and the screen had to wait until Monday because there was not janitorial service on the weekend. He threatened to throw me out of the hotel if I didnt pay for the pet. so I let him scan my credit card because I had just drove 14 hours and was exhausted. Also I over heard him talking about my situation with another guest and when I confronted him in front of the guest he denied it...the clerk was witness. Also, another guest was checking out and was noted that her first room was 106 but was switched to a room on the 3rd floor...... so what is wrong with room 106? I request a refund for the pet fee, since they did not sleep there and the manager was rude to me and disrespected me in from of other guests. I would not recommend this establishment to anybody. Pretty dismal.Good Location and Cheap. .No maid service at all unless you are there for 7days, No daily towel replenishment. No coffe maker in my room. None in reading room or lobby.These little details are kept from you until you check in. I was told to bring used towels to desk for refresh. I did. "Good spacious rooms and very clean"
This was the second time i stayed here and it was as good an experience as the first one. The place is good, spacious and quiet for a good sleep. Funny thing with this place though is the main doors are locked after 11. So if you checking in after 11 PM you got to call inside the hotel from the phone provided near the door and someone then comes to […] open the door. "Good spacious rooms and very clean"
The place is great especially if you driving across towns. The rooms are based on a studio concept, were spacious and large. No complaints for anything, a good comfortable stay and recommended if you travelling with a family

I arrived for a late check-in. The room smelled, and there was a leaking pipe in my room, right above the toilet. I was too tired to ask for another room. I won't return.

the room was basic, price was fair, it is an extended stay so no amenities. I arrived at night the fornt desk had one person, in the morning when I left there was no one at the front desk. The soap was sub standard and no shampoo. It had a kitchen with little or no dishes and utencils. i had to open all the cabinets to find a glass.

"Very good for the price"
I had a suite with two Queen beds. This is hard to find at any price in this area. Everything was fine except no shampoo in the bathroom. But I got it from service desk. Overall, it's very good for the price. If you're light sleeper, turn off the refrigerator and AC will help.
"Needs Improvement"
Had 1 package of coffee but no coffee maker. Had dishes, cups and glasses but no utensil’s. Sliding door was coming off closet. I feel that for the money room could have been better.

Very spacious suite and no hassle with pets. Large grass "pet area" outside. No restaurant attached, but fridge and stove.
