Right after checking in , we found that the doorknob on the bathroom door was broken and once you shut the door you were locked in the bathroom. And also on the first night of our stay, my son pulled his breadspread down and found a bloody bandaid between the blanket and bedspread, he then pulled the blanket down and found another bloody bandaid between the blanket and sheet. Don't do it! Even if you're trying to save a few bucks, it's still not worth it. Everything was dirty. Vomit stains on the mattress and box spring covers. Dirty bed linens. Toilet did not flush. I have stayed here 4 times in two years, the front desk is never available and has to be paged for service then they spend more time in back chating then they do with check in. there customer service and concern for there business needs some great improvement.

I was very upset when I got there they made me wait outside about 40 minutes because they were doing an audit, after I had called to let them know we were running late and would be checking in late and did not bother to me. Paid for a deluxe room but when I got there, I was told they don't have any deluxe rooms. They had no idea why I paid more for a deluxe room that doesn't exist. Hotel staff are always very professional and accomodating and they're service makes up for the lack of cleanliness in the rooms.

My husband and I booked this room soley on the the ratings and the hotel description. ALL of it were not true. The hotel was NOT clean, there was questionable hair all over the sheets, stains on our towels and wet spots on the floor. Those would have been ok with us, easily fixed. Im not pleased with my recent stay at Homestead Suites in Phoenix. I was there with my boyfriend only, and therefore was pretty disgusted when I saw bits of dog food on the floor by my side of the bed. There was dog hair everywhere on the floor which was a great indicator that they didn't vacuum. It makes you wonder what else they slack on. Also, the […] faucet in the sink was stuck so unless you used all your might, you couldn't wash your hands. The last thing that I was not happy about was the stove didn't work. The reason we chose to stay at this particular hotel and not one with a better rating was because it was a 'suite' with a mini kitchen. This way we could have a healthy breakfast that we cooked ourselves. That being said, I really wouldn't recommend this hotel. I'm low maintenance but I still prefer cleanliness. Read more

For an inexpensive night there really isn't much you can expect from a hotel and this one didn't even live up to those minimal expectations. . . Especially regarding service. We waited outside in chilly Phoenix temperatures for at least 10 minutes waiting for the front desk associate to return to help us. Two other couples were already waiting before […] we arrived and let us know she said she would be back "shortly". She finally got back and began checking people in. It took at least 20 minutes for each check in (!!!) and so after another hour we were finally checked in. I will say that the front desk associate was friendly. The requirements she has to do for check in is crazy! We were required to pay a $75 deposit on the room. The room is old and run down and the bed uncomfortable, which did not surprise me. I NOTICE A BLOOD STAIN OF ABOUT 10" IN THE MATRESS PAD. I COMPLAIN TO THE FRONT DESK AND THEY ASSIGNED ME A NEW ROOM, BUT NO APOLOGIES. We spent 3 sleepless nights because of the people upstairs who were in and out, up and down,running across the floor all night long. Other than that, the room fit the bill. It did have a leaky faucet in the bathtub that really didn't bother us. We just kept the door shut. Location was super.
