I was tired. We found parking for our trailer and unloaded all of our gear and finally found the office. They could only find one reservation, they finally found both. THEN..... we had to load everything back into van and drive to another hotel. It was late, I was tired and it was unreasonable to sell us a hotel that didn't have what we need us, so […] then send us to another..... Don't sell the hotel if you don't have the amenities. While the amenities are there: kitchenette with full refrigerator (ice trays pre-filled!!!), a pot, pan, and dishes in the cabinet, the mattress was hard, TV reception was horrible, and the tub was not inviting. A disappointment for sure.

The room was nice enough, supplied with towels, pots, pans and dishes. The room was mouldy. The air conditioning unit needs to be cleaned. That's not so easy on someone with allergies.

This was the worst experience in a hotel! We were welcomed to our DIRTY room with rat droppings, shampoo dried in the tub from the last guest and a used syringe with a pack of cigarettes in the cabinet. When I called guest services to report the syringe I was given the run around and finally someone showed up to remove it from my room. The rat dropping and dirty room is one thing the syringe is another. This is a major health risk. I am thankful I did not have my children with me at the time. To me this is uncalled for! I understand you cannot control what guest do in the rooms but housekeeping should have caught on to this and if not management should have offered a clean room or apology. The rate was cheap enough, the room was small but clean except the closet shelf broke after I placed some shirts on it and could not get maintenance to fix it. A few friends and I decided to book a trip to Dallas for the weekend to have fun and relax. Unfortunately, we were driving and it took us 11 hours to get there. I had already reserved a room for us and even called ahead to let them know a day in advance that we were going to be checking in late. The man on the phone was polite and said that it was okay […] and someone will be there at all times. But from that phone call was already warning signs, I had to call twice because they didn't pick up and on the phone it said something about 'free wireless internet', when in actuality there was a charge. So we arrived in Dallas around 1am and went to the hotel to check in. We had to use the phone that was outside to let them know we had a reservation and needed to check in. The woman sounded a little bugged that we were checking in so late, which was understandable but she carried that attitude the whole time when we checked in and asked rudely for all ID of the guests. She gave us mean looks to and four key cards to use. (Only two of them worked) The grounds could have been kept up a little more. I was also under the impression that there was only one floor to the in but really there was two. It looked like a dressed up motel that wanted to look like an apartment complex. Also housekeeping was only offered if you were staying 7+ days or you had to pay extra if you wanted it. The shower was clogged up with who knows what. And no pots or pans. I took the room because of bad road conditions, I never expected my stay to be so bad. The bed was so hard I woke up in pain. Luckily I didn't pay much for the room, If I paid anymore I would have ask for my money back. Next time I will stay at Embassy Suites. I would have been broke but at least I would have got some sleep.

I got there a little before midgnight just to find the front desk is closed. There is a phone to call for after hours check in but no one answers the phone. I came back at 3 in the morning and the same thing - no answer. So I started banging on the door for about 5 minutes to no avail. I went to find another hotel but I decided to give it one more shot […] five mintues later. Low and behold someone answered the phone. The ragidy looking lady said she heard my banging on the door from the next building, and the reason she didn't answer the phon is because the phone wasn't transferred to her.
