Our stay started off OK.. Realized, there's not too much around this place. Both nights were farm from a charm.. We were on the 2nd floor and other guests, staying on the lower level, made this stay "A Very Unpleasant" one. Loud music, from the car parked in front of their room, ALL NIGHT. Then, to wake up to a man sitting in his pick-up truck. drinking, […] blasting country music. I'm not a critcal or judgemental person, but when the people under you offer you weed in front of your girlfriend, well, I should have asked for ALL OF MY MONEY BACK. there was no seperate balconies as advertised it was just the walkway to the rooms. The internet access was a complete joke, you had to call their Tech Support to get on line and tried til 10:30 pm and only got one computer up and running the next morning the other we tried talking to tech support for 1/2 hour and still did not get the other one working. […] The breakfast was oatmeal in a coffee cup as they had no bowls and when a train passed by 3 times the entire building shook. The hotel room was very clean, my only issue is that daily room service is only available for an additional fee or if you stay for 7 days or more. You also have to trade in your towels to get new ones, but other than that it's pretty much like a studio apartment,,,,Very nice!

Chain of communication to manager is poor. I stayed for a week, and many times reported that three essential comforts were in disrepair in my room: the air conditioning (essential in Florida), the toilet (had to take cover off every time to push rubber stopper down), and the bathroom fan (so loud from loose parts as to make using the bathroom unbearable.) […] When I finally found the manager, he claimed not to have been passed my requests. I was not at all impressed. We were given a "non-smoking" room that smelled of smoke and had cig burns. We asked to be switched and were told there were no other rooms available, they would be happy to check us out. To me, that says we can't be bothered with trying to make your stay more comfortable or offering you a discount for your trouble.

I spend about 60 nights per year in budget motels. I am self employed and pay my own way. Red Roof Inn is perfectly fine. I usually pay $50-$100 per night. I don't require a Marriot. What I do expect is that each night when I return to the room, it has been serviced. That simply doesn't happen at this hotel. Unless you stay more than a week, your room […] doesnt get serviced. No bed is made, no floor is vacuumed but most of all no towels are exchanged. Each day you have to take your own wet towels to the lobby and get your own replacement. need more soap, off to the lobby you go. Forget shampoo, there is none supplied. There is a kitchenette tho. But alas no dishes, silverware or pots. Oh and no newspaper in the lobby. They say there is free WIFI, which is true, but when you sign on, they offer you the opportunity to pay for a better connection then the free version, which was practically dial up speeds (remember them?) Overall, a clean, basic place to stay. Front desk personnel were very friendly. The room was a clean, no frills type of place. I stay at this hotel every time I come to town. It is the best hotel for the money in the area. Always clean. Friendly staff. Real kitchen. I am going to try out the 2 bdrm suite next time, it seems well worth the money. Especially if you are traveling with a dog who may be prone to barking. when people pass by the room.

Over all nice stay. I did think the AC was broken. The knobs on the window AC were non functional. The next morning I stumbled across the "thermostat" on the wall. Would have been nice to have a small sign on the unit indicating there was a wall thermostat. Usually wall units are not controlled by a separate thermostat. The only real negative to this hotel is the train that goes by on a regular basis shaking the entire hotel. Noise is no big deal, however, feels like a small earthquake every 20 minutes or so.

There was no shampoo or conditioner The towel were old, but clean. The bed was very hard and sqeaky The bathtub water would not drain at time of use. The area of the room was very bad.The train goes right by the side of the hotel and the entire room shakes. The A/C unit made alot of noise making it very impossible to sleep.

Location was the most important variable and for that it was fine. mattress was uncomfortable-hair on bathroom floor-problem with key not working (although staff was helpful.) Only hotel that allowed dogs in area.

Room was advertised as having a fully equipped kitchen but had only one pot and one pan for cooking. King bed had standard size blanket which was too small. Excellent AC unit for both cooling and heating. For pleasant view and quieter location request a lakeside room. Well lit parking and exterior walkways.

I would not recommend a friend to bring his/her family to this hotel. The non-smoking room smelled to cigarettes, one of the mattress stank, the bathtub was in awful condition, including the bath curtain, the dinner set was almost entirely missing.

The room was great. Although there were some discrepencies with what was available in the room. On the Hotels.com website, it was listed as a room with premium cable and wireless internet (included in the booking fee). there is train track 20 yards from the hotel that they don't mention when booking and trains run very frequently. Very spacious. The suite had 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and a door between rooms. The room was non smoking but smelled like smoke.
